Hi all,
If it's available in your area, DHL is the shipper of choice now a

It is not difficult as long as you use the US mail for shipping.

The problem with this is that they charge 3 to 5 times more than it should cost to
ship.

I've made two trips this year for F3b practice or contests. Both times,

Dear B.goat.
Your theory is flawed. AOL is the largest internet provider. It is also the
worst.

Tom;
Boy do you have that right! Whenever I ship an Addiction, it comes in an oversized

as my number of damage claims has been gratifyingly small. However, just the box

Actually, try seeing how long it takes to box something up and take it to the post
office. Add in the box and stuffing and it ain't cheap. It is a real money looser
for the small guys. The big companies are better equipped, but it still costs more
than the actual price of the stamp.

It is because there is so much e-commerce with small package shipping.
UPS now looks at a large package and says, Hmmm I could get 9-$6.00 packages
in the same space that the large package takes up, so I should charge
$54.00 to ship the large package!

In Sal's defense, I know from the experience of running a small business
that it's much easier to charge a flat rate for all small packages.
Otherwise, you have the weighing and figuring out zone information for
everything you ship. On some you make money, others you don't...
