Hi,
I see that there are a lot of handheld frontends for sword, however I
can't find any for the Symbian OS. Is there a strong reason why?
Could it be done?
I'm not a programmer, just happen to have a Nokia E-61 and I'd love
to have sword there.

I'm very much interested in your work! I was thinking about building
that myself with the help from a friend, but I was going to do so
with a copyrighted module from another program, so I would be the
only one to be allowed to use it, due to the copyright issues. If you

Here's what I think about this subject.
Being open source software doesn't say a thing about the possibility
of charging for it. That kind of thing is ruled by the license
agreement. (The same procedure as for proprietary software.) As far
as I know, Sword's license is "GPL" with

that mod2osis requires either a Bible (text) or Commentary (of the

that I spoke today with the President of Sociedade Bíblica Portuguesa
(Portuguese Bible Society) and they are willing to grant Crosswire
permission to distribute their "Almeida Revista e Corrigida".
And I have even more
