If you've closed all applications that may have it in use all I can
suggest is that you reboot and see if the file lock is removed.

Care needs to be taken when installing OOo however to ensure that

It should have mentioned that I needed the tangent of 89 Degrees had
converted 89 to its radian equivalent using 57.296 as the number of
degrees in one radian before using TAN.
