Re: An F.Y.I. Regarding Apple Music Radio

2018-02-23 Thread Wayne Merritt
One thing I really love about Apple Music is whether I'm llistening to a curated playlist, a radio station from Apple, or just browsing through the millions of songs in various albums, if a song is playing I can add it to my library or one of my own playlists in a few taps. I've occasionally

ActiView was such an app. The problem with these types of apps is that though many people want to use them in the theaters instead of the receivers, it seems that the apps that have come out, support a very small number of movies. I used the Disney Movies Anywhere app in 2016 to see Finding Dory

Hi. It sounds like the app Fantastical II might be what you are looking for. In Fantastical, you can set both reminders and calendar events. I think you can set reminders under different lists, but I haven't done that before. It cost around $2.99 but if you like keeping things organized then it is

Re: Edit Mode

2018-01-19 Thread Wayne Merritt
Hello Reg. In iOS 11 you can opt to have the edit mode turned on or off with VoiceOver. If it is on, then you just have to flick up/down on an app or folder on a home screen and VoiceOver will announce editing. If the option is turned off, then you will have to double tap and hold to turn on

Add to all this that from the little I know, Seeing AI is the only app/platform I have heard of that can even recognize handwriting at all. I've heard over the years that no product or OCR software has been able to recognize handwriting. At the training center I work at, students have been raving

Good Reads is like a social network for book lovers, where you can like, comment on, and review books, share what you're reading at the time, and more. I use it to track all of the books that I've read, and whenever I finish or start a book, I immediately go to GoodReads and update my progress or

I had a brief play with it on my 4th Gen Apple TV last night and noticed a few things. First, there is a voice that starts speaking when the app detects you are using VoiceOver, along with a VoiceOver navigation voice. Also, these two voices appear to be the same. Perhaps I was just hearing things

I use Uber several times per week. Both Uber and Lyft are extremely easy to use. As far as pricing goes, when there is extremely high demand like Sieghard mentioned, Uber goes into Surge Pricing. You will be told of the higher prices when booking your trip and given an opportunity to cancel or

iOS 11.2 released

Greetings. Just because I didn't see anything on this on list, wanted to pass along that Apple, in a very rare move, has released iOS 11.2 over night last night. They did so to prevent a serious bug from happening on one's device at 12:15 AM local time early the morning of December 2, but there
