Maria, I have noticed that there are more blank spaces between videos.
I guess this goes back to the "new design" of YouTube. Also, I was
having issues with the collapse button on an iPhone 7 Plus with latest
version of app, but I deleted and reinstalled it and all appears to be
working now.
For what it's worth, I had the same issue where double tapping on the
collapse video button within a video did nothing. I have been abel to
access the list of recommended videos within a video, but I haven't
been able to get back to the opening YouTube screen which lists all of
the videos you have

Hello. I experienced this with a book I downloaded today as well. I
closed and reopened the app but still got the same message when trying
to play the book. It is weird because I can play books that I have
already downloaded or started reading, but not any books I downloaded
