When i use dictation, sometimes the wrong word is entered, but certainly not the majority of the time. I try to 1: be in a quiet environment, 2: speak a little more slowly than I would ordinarily speak, 3: speak clearly, 4: Go over several times what I want to say in my head before dictating.HTH,

For a while now, when I say "Hey Siri," there is no tone; just Siri saying "ah huh" It says it fairly quietly. I only get the new, quieter, tone if I hold in the button. Both Apple and Windows seem to think everyone has super hearing the way their tones have lowered in volume. Richard, USA.

Holly, I just asked for a number not in my contacts and Siri spoke it correctly. I checked under VoiceOver, Verbosity, and my numbers was set to words. Changing it there did not change anything. I know, those are VoiceOver settings and not Siri settings, but it doesn’t hurt to double

Whenever I use SIRI, I hold the home button on my SE3 down until I finish talking. That has always worked for me. I don’t use “Hey Siri”. When writing a text message, I use the dictate icon that is to the left of the space bar. With VoiceOver, I use a 1 finger double-tap to start
