Yes Brian, I had this happen after a new logic board replaced in my 17-inch MacBook Pro. Normally the technician changes the serial number to match the new logic board, but some times they 'forget' to :) Took it back to MacWorx and they 'flashed' the correct serial number. You'll need to take it
