8.22 to 2006.23
We are currently running Imail 8.22 on a Windows 2003 SP2 server with a
3.2GHz processor and 4GB of mem. Can anyone provide some aritcles on
upgrade best practices? Also, any opinions on whether its best to

This is not really complicated. I usually setup the new server running the
IMail Setup, or in our case, we're using our software distribution.
The only thing you should watch: Choose the same application folder for IMail,
eg. C:\IMail, C:\Program Files\IMail as the old one and do not

Believe it or not, but one of our servers still need to be upgraded from
version 7.07 to the newest version 8.1. Could you all please give me some
hints to watch out for.
Is the upgrade from 7.07 to the latest version an easy upgrade or do I have

We are planning to upgrade from IMail 6.05 to 6.06
to work around the SMTP Auth issue.
Are there any known issues related to this
upgrade? Will all our accounts and settings be intact after
