|         All this discussion on crossing the Rockies. If the weather at
| this time of year is doubtful and the route uncertain or possibly
| dangerous, why not  spend a couple of hours to pull the wings off, rent
| a flat deck truck or trailer, and just tow it home. It will be a lot
| warmer in a car than at 11,000 ft. with nothing but rocks and snow down
| below. Also you get to talk coupe everywhere you stop! Some times the
| quick,heroic way of getting there is not always the best. Remember these
| planes will NOT continue to fly for very long if you lose a cylinder
| enroute. If the weather is too bad to drive, you sure don't want to
| flying in it. I'm not trying to sound discouraging but life is very
| presious. Good luck.
