Cisco Virtual lab available for rent....

2001-02-22 Thread micronet solution

Hi Everyone,

For those who might be interested in getting hand-on
experience with Cisco equipments, Micronet Solution
is your answer. The price is very cheap.

Micronet Solution has an excellent Cisco virtual lab
with
top-of-the-line equipments that are available for
rent.
The virtual lab consists of Cisco 2600s routers each
with
8 serial interfaces (NM 8A/S), ISDN interface and
Ethernet/Fast Ethernet interface. They have 3 pots
available, each consists of six(6) 2600s routers, 1
catalyst (either 2924-XL
or 5000s) and an ISDN simulator. All the routers are
controlled by a Cisco Terminal Server (cisco 2610).
They even have a guest router for you to check out
their hardware. The technical support is great (in
real-time). I wouldn't be able to get my CCNP and
CCDP without the hand-on from this virtual lab.
The thing I like about this lab is that all of the
routers
are fully connected (fully meshed) which is very
flexible. This virtual lab is running by a few guys
who are working toward their CCIEs and Juniper. Check
them out at http://www.micronetsolution.com

RE: 4 Ethernet Int

2001-02-22 Thread Erick B.

You can get 1 port FE NMs for 36xx series. The 3662
has 2 10/100s in the base plus 6 slots.

The 2621 and 2651 have 2 10/100 ports in the base. No
modules though.

Or you can look at a layer 3 switch w/routing
capabilities (might be cheaper).

Routing loops with ibgp and ospf running Backbones

2001-02-22 Thread A Mateen

Hi !

I have the following network setup running ospf, ibgp within the Domain and ebgp
beween AS.

GW: Gateway router BB: Backbone Router

Note: BB and GW router is connected directly (cross-connect) and the Area0 is extended
from BB to GW router.

Pre-requisite: LAN on Area 11 shud able to access both the routers for redundancy.

Implementation : Implemented HSRP between BB and GW and extended the Area 0 using
cross ethernet back to back cable between BB and GW.

Route-reflectors are confgured on IBGP routers and EBGP on GW routers. Both the GW
routers are connected to the same ISP.

Preoblem : sometimes I am getting routing loop between BB and GW routers when trying
from Area 11 LAN( default Gateway for all the machines is GW).

Action taken: Checked the ip route and gound that the defualt gateway on GW is
pointing to Internet interface and for BB it is pointing to GW. The looping occured
between the back to back connected interface.

Can any body suggests the way to troubleshoot the problem

Question on Cisco Voice Capabilities

2001-02-22 Thread Mitesh Khatri

Hi!

Does anyone know if it is possible to allow No. 7 signaling on a NEC PABX to
be transferred transperantly over a WAN consisting of Cisco Voice/Data
routers such as MC3810s, Cisco 2610s and Cisco 3640s to a remote NEC PABX.
All the Cisco routers have a Digital Voice E1 module connecting to the NEC
Pabx. The Cisco routers compress the voice to 8 k and are using VoIP between
the sites.

If anyone has done such a thing with Cisco routers and NEC PABX or with any
other PABX , your advise will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mitesh

Hey Dennis.

I tried the code you gave me. After applying the code, I cannot surf the
Internet. Could it be related that webpages uses UDP as well? If you put
the line:

access-list 100 deny udp any any

before the line:

access-list 100 deny ip any any

Most of the matches will hit the UDP and kicked out before it reaches the IP
line. Do you have any more suggestions? I think that there is a UDP being
used for webpages as well and it has to be allowed for full web access to
occur. I hope I didn't lose you. Thank you.

Yes this is true. Actually what happens is it starts to degrade, finally
you can't get anywhere on the lan interfaces usually unless you shut down
cef and re-enable it.

I have found that disabling CEF on the ethernet/fastethernet interfaces
seems to help in some trains.

Re: New Modem Troubleshooting Trick

2001-02-22 Thread John Neiberger

You're probably right. We tried dialing in to it many, many times and it
would answer but it would not negotiate with the modem on our end; we would
just get silence.

It's interesting that dialing in with a modem would not cause it to reset,
but dialing in on a phone and then sending random tones resolved the
problem. Pretty strange, but it worked!

How to restrict multiple login?

2001-02-22 Thread vikas patel

Hi folks,
I am working in an ISP company, got Cisco 2511 router with inbuilt
RAS(access server), IOS ver. 11.3(9).
I am using RADIUS from livingston ver. 2.0.1 beta 14 revision 5 for windows
NT4.0 and Netcents ver. 6.0 for billing. I have contacted the netcents
people and they says that the single/multi login facility is available with
RADIUS only and not with there netcents billing s/w. And i think the RADIUS
ver. that i am using is not supporting this single/multi login features. And
i am going to use this RADIUS b'coz its free.
How can i Restrict my customers for single login and multi-login into my
cisco router. B'coz using the above radius and netcents i cannot block multi
user login in my network. Can u guys suggest some solution using the above
only s/w's. And I am creating users in netcents+radius and these users are
not the router users.
Is their any way thru cisco router commands to restrict my customers for
single login?

Thanks in advance.
waiting for your reply.

kind regards
vikas patel

回复: Creating Multiple Interfaces on an Ethernet Port

2001-02-22 Thread Johnny Sun

Hi,
In fact, you can add several subinterface on a physical fastethernet port of
a router with these subinterface encapsulated ISL or Dot1q,and give each
subinterface a IP address. Many NIC can support 802.1q or ISL,so you can
devide the physical NIC to several virtual NIC encapsulated ISL or
802.1q,and give each of them ip address, the defauft gateway ip of the
router's subinterface.

Re: 4 Ethernet Int

2001-02-22 Thread Groupstudy

I don't believe Cisco makes a 4 port FE module for either the 2600 or 3600
series routers.

The 3640 could support 4 * 1 port FE modules.

Use distribute lists on each router to restrict the networks they advertise.
Jeff Doyles book and CCO have some good examples to help you understand.

Re: OSPF config

2001-02-22 Thread Erick B.

It won't achieve anything. Infact, matching against a
null0 interface isn't going to gain you anything since
it will always match. So, you might as well just match
on other criteria and leave the 'match interface
null0' out of your route-map statement.

Maybe the person who did the config your trying to
figure out didn't understand route maps or something
and plugged in commands until it worked

As far as which interfaces it will match, since null0
is up all the time - it will match on the criteria in
the ACL if you have 'match ip address' and set the
criteria defined if any. I can't think of a reason to
use null0 for match interface offhand because it's
basically the same as not having a 'match interface'
in the config.

Now, a 'set interface null0' makes sense. That would
take the traffic that matched the ACL and route it to
the null0 interface which would blackhole/kill that
traffic basically.

Re: Does a PIX Route (was Re: Firewalls and VPNs)

Also confusing the terminology may be that the PIX product was a
Cisco acquisition. Although the original manufacturer escapes me,
the pre-Cisco PIX had an excellent reputation. I remember, however,
that when one read the first Cisco-revised manual, the PIX couldn't
POSSIBLY have worked as they described it.

Something that may help understand it, though -- think of the PIX not
as a conventional router, but as a multiple-interface server that
appears as a host on multiple subnets. It needs a default gateway on
each of those subnets.

I agree that no classical description is "clean," but this is the
nature of midboxes.

I believe 3640, but they only recommend 3, but you can actually do 4.

The part numbers without ='s are options to be added at purchase time.
After purchase time, you can order with the ='s after the item denoting a

Looking for second-hand equipment in Australia

2001-02-22 Thread Adam Burgess

This message probably only applies to people in Australia/NZ

I am looking for some second hand Cisco gear, preferably in Australia =
(cheap freight). If anyone has (or can get hold of) the following, I am =
interested:

2 x Cisco 2513/2612/2613 (or combination) Ethernet/Token Ring/Serial =
Routers. Any IOS. Any RAM config.
1 x Cisco 4000/4500/4700 (or variant). Any module configuration. Any =
IOS. Any RAM config.
1 x NP-2E Dual Ethernet Port for Cisco 4000 series.
1 x NP-2T Dual Serial Port for Cisco 4000 series.
2 x CAB-NPX21C (X21 DCE cable for Cisco 4000) OR 2 x CAB-NPX21T (X21 DTE =
cable for Cisco 4000). They do not need to be X21 but I would prefer =
X21 or V35.

I am only interested in realistic prices as these are for personal use =
(ie. I'm not really interested in purchasing new gear).

I would also consider trade on some other gear that I have, including:
4 Port BRI for 4000 Series
 ISDN WIC's for 1600, 2600, 3600, etc
2 x High Density X21 DTE Cables (used with WIC-2T)
 NM-2E2W (2 Ethernet, 2 WIC for 3600)
 NM-4E (4 Ethernet for 2600, 3600)
 2503 (Ethernet, Serial & ISDN)
2514 (14 Ethernet Hub Ports, Serial, ISDN)
 Other assorted stuff.

Please respond direct to my email address.

Because IP is a network layer protocol, and RS232 (V.24 for the Europeans)
is a physical layer protocol, you need a data link layer to bridge the gap.
SLIP or PPP fill this gap, and is the most common way of encapsulating IP
over Async connections. (I assume you mean async, not sync, in which case,
use LAPB, HDLC or PPP)

One more thing, when i change the enable secret password after breaking into

About RSVP

2001-02-22 Thread jromero

Hi all.
I have a question about RSVP.

As far as I know, RSVP is an unidirectional signaling protocol, in the way
you specify only one information flow (one sends and other receives).

In a scenario like a VoIP network (for instance) where every conversation
implies two information flows, I guess you must specify two reservations
working with RSVP, one for one information way, and other for the other
information way.

I would thank if someone could please contrast this information.

Thank you all

Juanjo Romero.

Re: VLAN question

2001-02-22 Thread Bradley J. Wilson

The only solution that jumps to my mind is remote bridging - the following
links will give you some basic info about it:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/701/37.html
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/cisintwk/ito_doc/bridging.htm

There's no mention of how VLANs work over a WAN link, though.

Good luck -

Subject: VLAN question

I will just like to enquire whether it is possible to have a VLAN split over
2 lans divided by a point-to-point Frame-relay wan.

VV
LL
AA
N 4MEG WAN N
50 50

At both LANs there is Vlan50

Is this possible ?
Any suggestions on implementations would be appreciated and possible
problems to avoid

Thanks

Re: ARP issue with 802.1q Trunking

2001-02-22 Thread Richard Froom

Keep in mind, by default the switch will not tag the Native VLAN which is
VLAN 1 by default. You will need to adjust the configuration of the router
accordingly. See the following sample configuration for more details:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/473/50.shtml

Sample Configuration: ISL/802.1Q Trunking Between a Catalyst 2900XL/3500XL
and a Cisco 2600 Router

Re: Arrowpoint Content Switch and 7204 routers

2001-02-22 Thread Neil Greenfield

I would say that you should still let the cs800 (new CSS 11800) switches do the
NAT'ing. Have the 7204's front end the switches for internet connectivity.. Really,
with the way the CSS switches work, they should do the job as they were meant to
(L3-L7).

Subject: Modem DDR problem - Urgent, please help !

Scenerio:
Router AUX port - analog modem - - - - - - analog modem - Router AUX port

Router = 7513 with IOS 11.2(17)
Modem = USRobotic

I want to use "dialer map IP" to connect the above 2 sites.

I use Chat-script to initiate the modem:
 { chat-script A "" "ATK" OK "ATDT \T" CONNECT \c }
and then apply this script to interface AUX 0.

Problem:
If I use IOS 12.5, then it works fine.
But for IOS 11.2(17), it does not work.

For testing purpose, I do the following:

1. If I reverse-telnet into the modem and apply " ATDT 12345678" command, then the
modem can make the call.
2. From router, I use " chat-script A 12345678". Again, for IOS 12.5, it works fine.
But for IOS 11.2(17), it doesn't work.
3. Then I turn on "debug chat" and "debug dialer" to see what happens.
I find that for IOS 11.2(17), the chat-script sends the string "ATDT \T" and
then expect "CONNECT". But the modem never makes any call. Then it times out and
disconnect the call !!!
But for IOS 12.5, the chat-script sends the string "ATDT \T <12345678>" and then
also expects "CONNECT". But this time, it makes the call and succeed.

I'm really exhausted with the above problem. Can any expert give a hand ? Thank you
very much !!

what router model? The best way is using "ip route-cache flow", and
taking the flowstats into a flow analyzer and looking at it there. At
www.nanog.org you can look around and pick the freely available Cflowd,
which is what we use for this.

You can use ip accounting also, but it can be tedious to try and grok that
data with your eyes.

Cflowd allows you to run reports, much nicer.

Re: CCIE salary

2001-02-22 Thread Mask Of Zorro

The thing is, nothing other than the CCIE cert matters...

CCNA = difficult to find a job
CCNP = around $65k annually
SUN certs = around $65k annually
MCSE = around $55k annually
CNE5 = around $45k annually
Notes certs = around $60k annually

Here's the catch: CCNP, plus SUN cert, plus MCSE, plus CNE5 = around $65k
annually.

CCIE = around $125 annually

The difference is that CCIE's will get higher end, network architect type
positions, while all the other certs will get you Systems Administrator jobs
that might also have responsibility for a router or switch or two...

Outside the System Admin circle, there simply isn't the demand for these
lower end certs. If you want to design and build large, complex enterprise
networks, you wimply won't get that job until you are a CCIE. If you want to
administer those networks and the systems that reside on them, then these
lower certs are your ticket to an interview...

This is the DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia market mindset, but I expect
that things are similar elsewhere.

Re: CCIE salary

2001-02-22 Thread Peter Van Oene

A better question would be "what is the mean or medium rate for persons of such and
such experience with such and such designations working in a primarily technical role
in a specific area" You have to be that specific for answers to have any value
whatsoever.

I would recommend that people hit the mentioned job lists, tap into a recruiter or
look into salary surveys that are widely posted and please try and stop stereotyping
based on certification. Employers don't.

RE: New Modem Troubleshooting Trick

2001-02-22 Thread John Neiberger

I'll see what I can find out. I've never heard of anyone doing this before,
and neither had the other engineer who was here with me. We tried to dial
in at least 10 times, and we did wait each time for negotiation to start but
it never did. The modem would "answer" because the ringing stopped, but
then we'd get nothing but silence.

I was frustrated because of the timing of the situation. This was very bad,
and there wouldn't have been anyone in the remote building for another three
hours so we didn't have physical access to the modem. While pondering, this
"solution" occurred to me and I thought it was worth a shot but I did not
actually expect it to work. We were both very surprised when it did. The
other engineer has been in the field for ten years and he's never heard of
anyone trying that before.

If I can figure out why it worked, I'll let you know.

Re: SysLog Server for NT / 2000

2001-02-22 Thread Jim Deane

We use a product called SL4NT.

It allows me to set up rules, and based on the source IP of the syslog
message, I can send that message to different log files. So, I set up a
loopback on each router, use the "logging source-interface Loopback0"
command, and then SL4NT allows me to break each router's syslog messages out
into a different log file. SL4NT also creates a new log file each night at
midnight.

Works really well for us.

Here's the link:

While doing Lab #13 using a 2521 and three other 2500 series router, I
managed to get the same output, but at the hub router (Router A).

RouterA#sh frame map
Serial0 (up): ip 0.0.0.0 dlci 210(0xD2,0x3420)
  broadcast,
  CISCO, status defined, active
Serial0 (up): ip 0.0.0.0 dlci 200(0xC8,0x3080)
  broadcast,
  CISCO, status defined, active

I believe this happened to me because,

I already had the FrameSwitch and the 2 spoke routers configured, up and
running, and then I powered up the Hub Router and configured it.

***
Explanation: Unfortunately the router I'm using as a hub router is an
AccessPro card stuck in a PC, so it's a bit more difficult to get to and
configure, so I saved it for last. In other words, it's just pure
happenstance that the powerup sequence dictated that I powerup and
configure the Hub router, last. When performing labs from the CCIE Lab
Study guide, I always boot to a clean router, "erase start; reload", skip
the initial setup configuration, paste my basic router configs and then
paste the lab scenerio from the book.

Anyway, once the hub router was powered up, I configured the S0 interface
and the results posted above is what I get when I issue the "sh frame map"
command.

I solved the problem by rebooting the router with S0 configured and saved
to NVRAM and viola, I have a properly working HUB router.

RouterA#sh frame map
Serial0 (up): ip 192.1.1.3 dlci 200(0xC8,0x3080), dynamic,
  broadcast,, status defined, active
Serial0 (up): ip 192.1.1.4 dlci 210(0xD2,0x3420), dynamic,
  broadcast,, status defined, active

But I'm not satisfied that reloading the router is the only way to solve
the problem.

I did some research, and found the "clear frame-relay-inarp" command,

clear frame-relay-inarp Clear inverse ARP entries from the map table

but it doesn't seem to clear the table as advertised, atleast not in the
configuration and IOS version I'm currently running (120-6 IP only). I
haven't gotten around to trying a different version of IOS yet.

Maybe some here can shed some light on why the command doesn't work as
advertised.

Yes, you could do this with IRB, but why would you want to? This seems like
it would be more trouble than it's worth... Is there a specific application
that you are using that requires one broadcast domain? If so, you need to
get rid of it! :)

RE: CCIE salary

2001-02-22 Thread Denis A. Baldwin

Things are very similar here. The thing I've found in Michigan is that
most people with certs get jobs based on the certs, not their knowledge.
This really really isn't fair for people who got the certs BECAUSE they were
knowledgable in that area, but that's life. Around here, depending on the
size of the company, an MCSE can make 55-90k, a CCNA can make 45-60k, a CCNP
makes 55-80k, a CNE5 (only Novell) makes about 50k and a CCIE can make
130-150k. The two CCIEs I know both make over 150k because they do nothing
but design massive networks for ISPs and backbone providers.

The thing is, nothing other than the CCIE cert matters...

CCNA = difficult to find a job
CCNP = around $65k annually
SUN certs = around $65k annually
MCSE = around $55k annually
CNE5 = around $45k annually
Notes certs = around $60k annually

Here's the catch: CCNP, plus SUN cert, plus MCSE, plus CNE5 = around $65k
annually.

CCIE = around $125 annually

Squeeze not working in 12.0

2001-02-22 Thread John Neiberger

I just now deleted one of two IOS files on a 2611 running 12.0(5). When
I tried to "squeeze" the file system, the CLI did not recognize the
squeeze command. I tried to undelete that file and again, it did not
recognize the command. So, I have a file that is marked as deleted and
can't do anything with it.

I checked CCO and the docs there say that both squeeze and undelete
should be available in 12.0.

Am I missing something obvious here? I need to free up some room on
that file system so that I can do an upgrade.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
John

Re: CCIE salary

2001-02-22 Thread W. Alan Robertson

This sounds light to me...

Are you talking about full-time employment where you go into work everyday,
at your company, and work on your company's network? You must be. In that
kind of environment, maybe this is the going rate. I have no exposure to
that kind of environment.

You'd easily make 20% more than this as a consultant with a respectable
company. The Metro D.C. area is littered with consulting companies, many of
which are simply staff augmentation/body shop oriented. There are, however,
a growing number of quality "project oriented" firms. These companies are
paying much better, because they know how to bid a job correctly, and they
can bring the right people and skillsets to bear ensuring that they get the
work done ahead of schedule.

They get the CCIEs and experienced designers involved early, to do the
requirements analysis, and set the design. Then they roll them out, and
bring in the CCNPs to implement. At that point, the high level guys have
moved on to the next project, and are only needed to address specific
complex issues if they arise. If they've done their jobs correctly, they
shouldn't need to be involved at all.

I have never had any desire to work in a static environment, for years on
end. I have been on the consulting end for my entire professional life.
There are trade-offs. There is some degree of travel that is to be
expected, and the hours are not necessarily fixed. If you are of the 9-to-5
mindset, then you certainly don't want to be a consultant. If you enjoy a
constant state of change, then it's probably something you ought to
consider.

What are your goals?

Alan

RE: CCIE salary

2001-02-22 Thread Jon Krabbenschmidt

Add about 40% to 50% for here in the Silicon Valley, but than subtract about
80% to 90% of the adjusted total for the cost of living!

The thing is, nothing other than the CCIE cert matters...

CCNA = difficult to find a job
CCNP = around $65k annually
SUN certs = around $65k annually
MCSE = around $55k annually
CNE5 = around $45k annually
Notes certs = around $60k annually

Here's the catch: CCNP, plus SUN cert, plus MCSE, plus CNE5 = around $65k
annually.

CCIE = around $125 annually

Re: Squeeze not working in 12.0

2001-02-22 Thread Richard Gallagher

This command only works on the higher end paltforms - 7200, 7500 etc...

Although the delete command is present there is no way to squeeze the flash. So
to free up some room you are going to have to erase the flash and start from
scratch.

Cisco Press: 'Cisco LAN switching' by Kennedy Clark is heads above
everything else. It is a little dated now though so it doesn't cover the
newest technologies.

2001-02-22 Thread John Neiberger

Well, that makes perfect sense! heh heh I won't even bother asking
why they implemented the delete command if it doesn't really do
anything.

Since the 2611 IOS runs from RAM, I'd be okay deleting the entire
flash, right? Geez, I hate doing stuff like that on a production
router. :-) But, that's never really stopped me.

Don't ask me either, I have no idea why they did this. I have wondered for some
time!!!

Yes it's OK to erase the flash whilst the router is running, just don't reload
it - or bang bye bye network!!

I hear these stories from time to time, but have yet to see them (11 years
as a consultant in this market). These higher paying, better quality jobs
(for CCNP's and such) might be one or two in a hundred. What I described
earlier is typical of the "Beltway bandits" in the area, which are primarily
as you describe - "body shops".

2001-02-22 Thread Peter Van Oene

I would look simply at MPLS. Whether the packet contents are encapsulated via IPSec
or not is really not relevant. Check out the 2547bis draft and potentially some of
the layer 2 vpn drafts that are available. The ietf is really your source for this
type of information.

RE: VPN and NAT

2001-02-22 Thread Bullock, Jason (1125)

Tony,

What are you using as your vpn end point, a pix / concentrator ? With the
two you will need to create a static map in the nat table to direct the vpn
client request to the proper device behind the nat table. you need the ike
client to perform this with win 2k, I have this working into a pix vpn
solution.

Subject: VPN and NAT

I am trying to use a vpn client to get to our corporate network. I am using
a private address space and natting at my router to provide Internet access.
When I try to VPN from a workstation on my LAN it fails.

Has anyone gotten a Windows 2000 machine to VPN when NAT is involved. What
will it take to make this work?

IT WOULD PROBABLY SERVE YOU JUST AS WELL TO FORMAT THE FLASH.

>>> "Richard Gallagher" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2/22/01 9:05:24 AM >>>
This command only works on the higher end paltforms - 7200, 7500
etc...

Although the delete command is present there is no way to squeeze the
flash. So
to free up some room you are going to have to erase the flash and start
from
scratch.

ODD isdn config

2001-02-22 Thread Stephen D Skinner

GUYS

i have this odd isdn config which don`t make any sense to me...

!!! interface Serial1/0:15 !
  no ip address
 no ip directed-broadcast
 encapsulation ppp
 no ip split-horizon
 load-interval 30
 dialer pool-member 1 max-link 20
 dialer pool-member 3
 isdn switch-type primary-net5
 isdn sending-complete
 fair-queue 64 256 0
 no cdp enable
 ppp authentication chap
 ppp multilink

It`s the FIRST line i don`t understandyou see if i do an "SHOW ISDN
ACTIVE" ,it brings up 30 channels of my ISDN 30 as active
when i do as SHOW INT it shows all 30 ...but i thought that "serial 1/0:15 meant
 only channels 0-15..i.e 16 channels...
am i being thick or what ???

thanks in advance

CISCO 1600 Windows NT, chap or ms-chap

2001-02-22 Thread Piatnitchi Cristian

Hi all

I am trying to setup an Cisco 1600 dial-up into a remote WinNT 4 RAS server.
No results , mainly because the NT server tryes to get authenticate in the
router
too (I don't know how to set a secret password on the NT box, the debugging
shows me just that it
tryes to use its own host name for challenge ).
The debugging shows me that it tries to use ms-chap.
The pap authentication work with dial-up and a remote CISCO router but not
with an NT box
I enabled "any authentication including clear text" on the NT but no
results. It continuues to
try ms-chap.

Did anybody try this combination (dila-out from a C1600 into a NT box using
ms-pap or chap )?
Could you tell me how to stop the NT to try beeing authenticate into the
Cisco router ?

Cisco 4000 / 4000M

>From what I understand, a Cisco 4000 can goto a MAX of 16MB DRAM and 4MB

Yet on CCO, for IOS 12.0 they show software for the "4000" platform that
requires 8MB Flash. they have a seperate listing/software for "4000M".

Can a normal, non "M" model 4000 goto more than 4MB flash and 16MB
DRAM?!?!
