If you are interested in location selection, I'd suggest contacting Bill
Munson to get on next year's committee. You can see from the thread,
everyone has some thoughts about it. This year's committee met the day before
the event to discuss next year's options. That's one of the reasons
I agree with Bill. The VM Workshops were around when SHARE and GUIDE did
their thing and before WAVV was formed. It wasn't an either/or in those
days, nor is it today. We brought the VM Workshop back to fill a need for
VMers. Easy, inexpensive education, and an opportunity to hang out

I just had a discussion with the manager at the Varsity Inn locations
($69/night). She has been there 2 years and they've had no issues as

in earlier notes. She has no idea why this came up on someone's site and
would like to know the source. We will be leaving that hotel
Thanks Mike. We're going to be using Varsity Inn North as one of the
hotel options. (Rate $62/nite) According to the manager there, there have
been no issues with bugs. However, Varsity Inn South did have a water bug
issue and that was taken care of immediately. Somehow that got

The Velocity site is back online. Despite alternate power, our DS6800
apparently took a hit this morning during a power failure. I don't have all
the facts at this time, but our site is up.
