Thank you very much for your response. I'm sorry to sound so dense, but I have
no idea how I'd go about trying either of
those options. Making a separate library sounds like it might be what I want,
but I'm open to trying the unchecking of
Christmas stuff too if that's easier. Instructions for
Hi guys.
Yes, I did tell Apple Care people, both of them, that I was using VoiceOver.
It's real weird that you say that about this being a VoiceOver feature because
my sighted husband, at least before he updated to IOS 5 was annoyed sometimes

Hi Pete.
Thanks for your suggestions, and I will try them. I did try the rebooting

Hi Jessica.
If you don't want it, you just put the phone back up to your ear. It's to stop
immediately. If you want it, it's supposed to come on when you take the phone
away from your face.

Ok, after this, I guess I'm done with this subject here. My husband and I just
discovered something which some of us need to know about. Apparently, the phone
needs light to do this because I guess it's using the camera next to your face
to know it's up there. After Kevin's suggestion, we
Hi,
this is weird. The proximity sensor has nothing to do with light. You can be
in a pitch black room, take the phone from your face, and it should switch to
speaker phone if you are using voiceover.

Hi,
After you've created, and added your music to a playlist go to it in the

Hi Missy and others,
There is an easy way to manage your christmas music in iTunes without creating
a separate music library.
I recently imported all of my christmas music at once so I could manage the
files as a huge block in the Recently Added playlist that comes with iTunes.
From there, you
Hi! Thank you for providing such detailed instructions. This is definitely
another option to consider. My ideal is to find a
way to get all my Christmas stuff out of the main library, though, so I might
try the separate library approach first. If
that ends up being too difficult or goes wrong
Wow, Kevin, that's cool! thanks for posting this, I will definitely give this

Hi,
You should check to see if iTunes is making a copy of the music your importing
into your libraries. If this is the case, Just delete the songs from your main
library so you don't have multiple files taking up space on your machine. If
its not making a copy, just remove them from the
I've also seen any number of iOS related discussions here. For me I just
