Have you turned off screen time as well? With this on, your phone will log how
long you use it each day, thus draining your battery. Turning this feature off
should reduce the strain on your battery. HTH.

Hi.
I've got an iPhone SE and I've noticed the same thing. Before iOS 12, I
could sit my phone down with a 100% charge and it would lose maybe one
or two percent over several hours even with notifications and an
occasional in-coming call. Now my phone loses about 2 percent battery
an hour
Hello, all:
Since downloading Ios 12 on my iPhone 7, I’ve noticed the battery drains quite
quickly. It went from 100% to 70% power in one hour. My location services
appears to be turned off in settings. Anything else I should change? Thanks
in advance.

OK, I assume that people who have Overcast and who have not upgraded to iOS 12
can use it and maybe even re-download it from their list of installed apps but
that any completely new installs then do require it. This is interesting.

Sieghard, I was surprised to see him say he had to have iOS 12, but it does now
say in the app store that iOS 12 is required.
It could be because of the Siri shortcuts that if you had not already installed
it, you cannot now without iOS 12. Seems odd, but that is my best guess.

As Richard said, if you use iOS 11 now you should absolutely download iOS 12,
it was better on release day than iOS 11 after all the updates it had.
Having said that, it makes no sense whatsoever that you need iOS 12 to use
Overcast, in fact, there is no way that is required since many people
First, I have to admit to being wrong about one thing in Overcast, you cannot
get the time of an episode until you have started to play it, but you do not
have to download it.
Now, on to your question about iOS 12. It is the best and most stable release
yet from Apple, but I cannot answer your
