Please don`t start a flaming war on here, I'm NOT interested in this issues and cases. I know, that I've been a victim of their actings & actions. I don`t hurt anybody or crash anybody`s life and business due my own serious sucessfull networking or anythings else. I`m not interested in people like pac or whatever and their own business for real. I just take care on myself and my own business and this is just eveybodys own right & freedom. I please you to stop with acting like this everywhere and keep calm in everyway. the music & media business mainly in dj business is NOT a battle field of war zone, but friendly competition and a contest in a sportsway ( so if you`re not a sportsman like me with skateboarding in my youth besides djing and record collecting, you don`t have a clue what really a competition is and you act with unfair methods, there fore you recive the red card and even harder) with your talent in djing or whatever. Me is just a techno house electro 3 turntable Diskjockey (dj since childhood for real, grown up with motown and vinyl as well as direct drive recordplayer in public since early youth started in school at summer festival 1990 and professional techno club dj since 1996 officially) AND professional Manger (graduated occupation in Industrial business management) NOT a producer / live act, very different, just respect this. thanks in advance. regards. dmc > -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- > Von: "Williams, Graham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Gesendet: 24.01.08 10:43:28 > An: <313@hyperreal.org> > Betreff: RE: (313) stuff on discogs for sale > Vertraulichkeit: vertraulich > > So it is you... > > > Thanks > > > G > > > > > > > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 24 January 2008 09:30 > To: Williams, Graham > Cc: 313@hyperreal.org > Subject: RE: (313) stuff on discogs for sale > Importance: High > Sensitivity: Private > > Well, he (PACman Overall Universal) and his advocates (like you WILL) are > still on the hunt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberstalking) and even give > their best to reach their goal called "banning" > (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobbing) here on "313 list" as well as > elsewhere on the internet (discogs.com / undergroundresistance.com / > true-spirit.de /myspace.com) were I just do simply my job with serious honest > network in sucess for good or even crashing seriously Business (label & dj > career & relationships) as well as private affairs & life (clublife etc). > > what a shame..and even ridiculus. > > regards & take care. > > with the words of DOWNWARDS from Hard Education: > > "Don`t be a victim!" > > > PS: Their so called "Warnings" are sedition > (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volksverhetzung) and in the case of PACOU > (german) it`s a major criminal act, internationally > (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedition) it`s kinda different, but criminal > acting as well. > > > X X X > > and even they really don`t know the truth about it... > > I AM NOT UG090 Kobe Japan form Underground Gallery. > > *** > > -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- > > Von: "Williams, Graham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Gesendet: 22.01.08 18:21:56 > > An: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > CC: <313@hyperreal.org> > > Betreff: RE: (313) stuff on discogs for sale > > > > > > > > It's just clicked with me now who you are, are you the guy that got banned > > from the UR forum for impersonating a member or UR, i.e. UR090? > > > > G > > > > > > -Original Message- > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: 22 January 2008 17:14 > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Cc: 313@hyperreal.org > > Subject: Re: (313) stuff on discogs for sale > > > > not really urgent stuff on me, but this one might be interesting: > > > > http://www.discogs.com/release/1109025 > > > > and some more (vmax & generator)...not real actual needs, what you > > offer. > > > > lets see, what you filled onto the base in a few days, till then, just take > > a look here: > > > > http://www.discogs.com/user/dan_cortex (dj business) > > > > http://www.discogs.com/user/d_m_c (private) > > > > regards. > > > > dmc > > > > > > > > > -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- > > > Von: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > Gesendet: 22.01.08 16:52:05 > > > An: 313@hyperreal.org > >

I have stacks of flyers from the Cisco people for the Transmat releases so if you're in Oz and would like one, send me your mailing address (privately) and I will post one to you... (If I can overcome my dreaded hate of queues in post offices, he he. I owe someone else on this list a big parcel too.) There is some good info on there. Cisco has exclusive distribution. The Japanese market is hugely supportive of Transmat artists and the people are really dedicated. I am sure that the releases will find their way out there eventually. So many major distributors in Europe have gone under that it's difficult to get things out there these days in current circumstances. I believe the Derrick May Edits CD on the Movement package is only available with the Japanese edition and that is because Derrick didn't want people on a wider level thinking it was a mix-CD, per se. > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >> Transmat seems to >> have some deal with Cisco records in Japan to distribute their music (at >> least the CDs). > > The thing that bugs me about this is that I can't seem to find these > releases anywhere else besides Cisco. That would explain the Transmat, but I was in Japan last month and Cisco also had brand spankin new reissues of the first Planet E Designer Music 12". They were 2500 Yen (Around $25 US), and I assumed they were in line with the other 69 reissues. But I havent heard anything about the Designer Music back here in the states since then.. Anyone know about that one? The Cisco guy thought they may be over here later this year, but I got the impression he was just guessing. pete > Transmat didn't have a worldwide distribution deal with anyone > until > Submerge picked them up- these CDs are through Cisco and I'm > assuming > that the deal for these had already been worked out before the > Submerge > thing kicked in > > cheers > > Jason

Well they're pretty nuts about detroit techno (any Japanese listmembers on 313 want to chime in?) It's all about money for the label, and the distribution.. and wait, before I get jumped: I don't mean that in a bad or insulting way either. i mean in the past with Detroit Techno getting global exposure, it was the UK and Belgium (Network & Buzz labels respectively, later R&S too, also Tresor/Hardwax) who worked deals to license or publish or distribute Detroit artists that were outside of Detroit. Now Japan is taking interest.. and actually has for some time now. If you are a detroit label and someone wanted to help you put out a whole mess of your music and pay you nicely for it... I can see it's an attractive model to someone like Transmat who has a really great reputation for music but not always the best mechanisms for stock dissemination, exposure, pressings, CDs, etc. etc. I'm just happy there's so much new music coming out... looking forward to that Microworld too.. Also what were some of the other artists I remember seeing at the Cisco tent at Movement? There were a couple of names I didn't immediately recognize... but I didn't want to get the CDs without hearing them first actually. peace -- Matt MacQueen http://SonicSunset.com

Mostly just Domu stuff, and Titonton, but they're really doing their own things, and Domu might even be getting a bit similar to himself, but I'm just not sick of it yet. > >Someone please yell at me if any of these are grave mistakes - > before it's > >too late! ;) > > i feel you on your passes. i hope youre feeling that new mahogani > more than when you picked it up. that tune is year end top 10 > material for sure. what a beautiful record. Yeah. It has grown on me, but I'm not sure that I'd rate it quite that high personally. I just think it's really nice and definitely beautiful - but maybe it's just not different enough from the pack to really knock my socks off. I'll definitely be playing it for a while though. No complaints with it really. :) > and i picked up that > ron trent rmx of the amp fiddler, and while its probably my least > favorite amp related record thus far, its still pretty nice. Thought this sounded nice too - but just not different enough from the standard Ron Trent style to justify a purchase. Think I'm going through a 'bought too many records in the last three months and want something really distinct' phase maybe. Tristan === http://www.phonopsia.co.uk [EMAIL PROTECTED]

there is a cd coming out in australia only soon : 'There is an interview around where Ralf Huetter states that they're working on a new album which is due to be released this year.. Also, all the back catalogue is being released as a Digitally Remastered form with information booklets as an Australian-only release to coincide with the BDO. They are due to be released in a couple of weeks.' ab - Original Message - From: "Cyclone Wehner" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "313 Detroit" <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, February 03, 2003 8:22 AM Subject: (313) stuff > > There was a mini interview in the Daily Telegraph/Herald-Sun Hit that I am > gonna post with some stuff on that, I just have to find time to type it in. > > > > late last night (just b4 midnight - don't want to upset the foo > > fighterzzz fans now) on triple j radio here in oz there was an > > interview with ralf hutter. he talked about working on new material and a > > new album that was '99%' finished. hmmm. anyone hear the full interview? i > > had better things to do, like sleeping, & my tape ran out b4 the end... > > > > p >

Yeah, I think many dismissed this too quickly. Sometimes it's hard to tell what's likely to have been contributed by DM & what's come from Hillage & co, but again this matters little. I picked up the 2 bits of vinyl 2 months ago and have grown to like all of it. I'm after the cd now as it has more tracks. k >-Original Message- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Monday, November 04, 2002 10:59 PM >To: 313@hyperreal.org >Subject: (313) stuff > > > >don't sleep on the system 7 & derrick may 'mysterious traveller'. finally a >great rhythm is rhythm album. the guitar is occasionally inappropriate, but >when the rest of it is so good it hardly matters. techno as it should be, >groovy, expressive, emotional, & funky. yep i like it. > >p >

For hip-hop or techno DJs, turntables make perfect sense because they're trying to keep the music flowing. Francois and Danny Krivit are a bit more about keeping the *mood* flowing, basically playing out records to set an atmosphere, like David Mancuso at the original Loft parties (he used turntables, but usually refused to mix records at all). .john.
Re: [313] stuff (what not in a Franois K set???)
I think CDs could come in more as it allows people to play a greater range of music and access to the latest sounds - it costs a lot to get an acetate done, it's so easy to burn something. I thought of this today, so it could be that, on that basis, it becomes "cool". If you can sell it to the public that's ultimately the test, isn't it? At the end of the day the wider market decides. >A lot of the Body and Soul folk are using cds these days: Danny Krivit, if I >remember correctly, does. Still some people are missing the point. It is an extra, something you can use to play ot new tracks. Grrr Oh well. I've had it for a couple weeks now & it's choice, though as my friend put it "there's really not any techno in it", so if you're looking for stuff more like the Burial Mix records, it's not really like that. Isolee's huge '98 hit "Beau Mot Plage" (sp) came out on Playhouse, if that helps. Um... Perlon's record design is always black and yellow. RE: [313] stuff
>like bc / main st / luomo...what is perlon / playhouse? Perlon and Playhouse are both record labels. I guess they get lumped together because they are both German and put out quirky house and techno. Check: http://www.mad-net.de/data/labels.html ...and Luomo is aka Vladislav Delay (not a record label). As has been mentioned, his Vocalcity LP is very good, and his latest ep on Force Tracks called Carter is some really beautiful vocal dubbed out house, which for some reason (probably its laidback style) reminded me of "Promised Land". Long and dreamy. Respect JasonB
