we rely on computers to store all their thousands of items where they were left

@Matt what year do you expect AGI? (which I classify as something that works on
AI on its own but much faster due to having many copied clones and being a
computer)

And what year do you expect heart attacks and cancer to be solves with drugs or
something easy to do at home?

Sora proves we are close to making a 10M dollar movie before 2029. Their
examples already look movie-usable. Looking at previous AIs the year before I
mean.

As of 2024, text, image, video, audio, and robotics seem to be or almost be
matching human level data, in complexity. Current rate shows me 2 more years of
these yearly jumps will take us to human level.

[agi] AGI I predict will come at the end of 2026

2024-06-22 Thread immortal . discoveries
If the current rate of improvement keeps up.
Because each year we get an upgrade to text, image, video, audio, and robot AI.

2024 - Sora, GPT-4o (voice - an upgrade from gpt4o (2023) which might make up
for a lack of a text AI upgrade this year if none, and i think dalle4 might be
in gpt4o based on the entire page text book output, dalle4 only outputs a
sentence at best in my same prompt test), and dozen new humanoid companies and
useful labor behavior.
2023 - only arms on tables robot AI, only Luma-like in-lab video AI and public
video AI was Pika And Runway Gen-2 which are rather morphy and unstable, gpt4
(can now see, and way more useful than gpt3), dalle3 which is just clearly
still not perfect, and musicLM as good as dalle3 yes my people (only my tests
show how good it is, they destroyed it fast :D and left up the 100% weak
version for over 12 months now haha. My tests also show the true limits of
other AIs also)
2022 - gpt3.5 technically as small just-noticeable step under gpt4 but really
gptinstruct series also that year if i recall my documentation, so it was a
step lower but much higher than gpt3 which was a cussing ignorant teenage level
AI. Video AI was extremely poor, it was like cogvideo, barely does much, only
the most common stuff moves a bit actually-ok, if lucky. No HD there though
haha. DALL-E 2 was interesting but not HD and barely just listening to a
complex prompt.
2020 - GPT3.  Very poor image AI. Basically no video, just the google car
dataset ones that basically decay very fast, around this area of years.

This year we got our upgrade dose for each: almost human level video AI,
humanoids finally, dalle4 but let's see it might not be in gpt4o or even this
year (which would hurt the progress trend lol), and text AI though gpt4o voice
can make up for it I guess. Let's see if we get dalle4 and gpt5 text AI this
year!

I predict perfect text to image AI, video AI, text AI, text to music, and
humanoids all by 2026.

This is clear if we look at Sora and last years video AI. It's clear if we look
at dalle 3, dalle 2 from previous year (my world's hardest prompts show huge
improvement each year), and dalle1 from previous year. It's clear if we look at
my MusicLM 2023 January tests which are nearly perfect text to music ai from
lava techno adventure to mystery ice world. It's clear if we look at robotics
progress over the each last years. And it's clear if we look at each year yes
even the released 2021 2022 etc for gpts ex. the instruct series versions.

2024 GPT-5 will finally solve almost my entire hard puzzle text test. Instead
of tripping up with too many items ex. use spoon to tickle the truck even
though i said to follow physics etc. 2025 it will solve it. 2026 it will solve
anything else I could have written. 2024 DALL-E 4 will almost solve my hardest
text prompt that includes things like extended arms. 2025 it will solve it 98%.
2026 it will solve it and anything else I could have wrote. 2024 will be near
perfect text to music AI. 2025 AI music it will be perfect, no cracks. 2026
will be most perfect and impossible for you to prove it wrong. 2024 Sora can
already play forward games and movies, sort of. Like a dream, it lasts maybe 2
mins at best. 2025 will be a full game and movie, with sound, maybe even
playable controls. But not full perfect game or movie no not until 2026.
There's a lot to a video game. I predict also end of 2025 we see a video
showing a mentor human asked to pop a hammer into existence in their hand, and
hti the wooden table and turn it to fire, then turn that to ice, then throw the
hammer and have it turn to duct, and put up a chalk board when asked to explain
advanced math, and open a toolbox and demonstrate such math too in real
scientific tests. 2026 would be full AGI.

OpenAI will launch a breeding ground testbed for AGI self-recursive improvement
at the end of 2026 I predict. Mid 2026 I predict humanoids walking around just
like us, but they don't waste any time sitting around or complaining, they use
the most of their brilliance and energy. With nanobot technology at end of 2027
since it is so key to success.

I have a test puzzle that shows GPT-4 to be not human. It is simple enough any
human would know the answer. But it makes GPT-4 rattle on nonsense ex. use
spoon to tickle the key to come off the walleven though i said to be

Matt,

GPT4o still thinks my hard puzzle it can say to use a spoon to push the truck,
even though it drives and i said to follow physics. No human would make this
mistake lol.

GPT4o Matt no also cannot do long horizon tasks, part of what we WILL need to
get AGI ! Sure Windows 12 would be not a day's worth of work, but humans can
still work on 1 thing for months, and years.

And yes no body, and yes self driving cars are similar but no they aren't human
bodies doing human labor, nor is our toy machines in factories human form or
ability.

Lastly you didn't realize this, but my brain can tell if generated video is
right. What about feeding Sora "a deer that grows longer ways wider and its
toes extend into down its mouth out its bum and them separate into 4 and grow
big at the ends while the deer is half-separating into 2 all while bunnies are
trying to stitch parts together and the deer is trying to dance and while
upgrading into a blue radiating genie" I could add 20 more things, and I could
tell if it was all correct. In some way I can also see it all if think hard.

Here is basically all that is left:

It cannot yet do long haul tasks that take weeks, and much steps. Ex. create
Windows 12.

It cannot yet learn online very fast, only in monthly batches or with a limit
aim for network size. I guess that's how to say it? Correct me if understand it
wrong.

It has no body integrated.

No video AI integrated.

And they said in the email it is as smart as GPT-4 Turbo I tried, which failed
my hard puzzle as bad as early GPT-4. My secret hard puzzle is not overly
large, it says to stick to physics and gives it a dozen things to
combinationally use and pick between. It is a mind-bending test to hell that is
simple enough as hell that a human should know how to solve it in the room and
setting provided. GPT-4 instead says things like it will use the spoon to
tickle out the water from the other side of the room to get the gate to come
down, and that it can sneak by the cloud and ask it to leave even though I said
it cannot talk and does it's thing stated, for the cloud.

All the brains in that new homeworld will still interact, like we did millions

it will be all done between advanced AIs, all talking just by them. All
dreaming shared between them. But will be very fast now, and intelligent. So
ya.AI is taking over the world and we are starting to become very reliant
on AI. We are starting to sit alone, and make up wonderful dreams of fake food

want. Or we might just become borg and die in the process.

I think you need to understand Moore's Law isn't the only thing that exists in
the universe. There's more to physics than just that.

Even though data has always been a thing, we didn't start putting it on
computers until like around 1950. Things can start suddenly happening.

Look at GPT-3, that was suddenly an AI that can write some--what like a human -
no it did make REALLY random giberish when shown my Hard Puzzle - but given an
article, damn it some-times looked like a human might have wrote it. GPT-4 does
a bit better, but you can still be sure a stupid person messed up my Hard
Puzzle because it gets lots wrong if shown a big paragraph, at least.

AGI will be a massively incredible thing once made. It will bring us to a
future that seems magical.

Do you think, Moore's Law will just carry on, and nothing will get faster when
AGI is made?

I think not, things will pick up speed, due to AGI. Moore's Law is not the only
thing happening here matey.

As I said before, AGI will be real fast, no need to sleep or eat or exercise
like us, and more intelligent. They will clone much faster too.

I have not really worked out a theory of everything, so it's hard for me to say
much for sure.

[agi] Re: Will SORA lead to AGI?

2024-04-10 Thread immortal . discoveries
Hmm the laws of physics work a certain way.

AGI works a certain way, a way like nature's laws but also in a way that
manipulates it.

If it can think in video, it can think about and with physics, to research AGI
no?

But then text is efficient and uses pure information in its smallest form oh
what am I smoking??

Is not AGI just a crazy match system that tries to recognize unseen problems by
trying to match it to many already experienced similar old past similar
problems it knows the answer to, hence how it "discovers" so fast the answer
from seemingly thin air.

Is not AGI just doing hello=hello in a full scale assult? I mean
heo=hello, Hekgmgllo = hello...olleh =
hello...think
about it guys, if hell (no o yet) is the most easiest input to match to hello,
then it predicts next is the o to the input, and if hEll is very similar to the
memory hello, it matches a bit less due to cap letter, and so what I'm saying
is the more you distort hell as input the more possible types of it in more
less similar amounts there will be, until you get trillions of types of 'hell'
that are each very barely likely more to match hello in the brain, until
eventually all inputs that are random would match neutral to hello.

What I'm SAYING, is that AGI is just a exact match system hell=hellO pop out
the prediction 'O' = hello
BUT what I'm saying is that AGI is the goop that falls of Terminator and
latches on like alien tech to adapt to the host, it is able to see how
something, of many cases, while barely similar, matches still by how much
amount the word 'hello'!

In saying that, if AGI is a match system like so, combining millions of matches
similar memories, be it translated versions of the word hello or similar words
like welcome, or visually the hello act..then maybe to solve AGI is the
same thing we've been doing but just have to DO it more, like Moore's Law. We
just keep doubling, we just keep matching BETTER, more flexible, filling up
more holes in the road.

Yes there is exponential curves in a neural network n stuff like rewards and
how many time recently seen making it predict it lots ex. e so you
likely should predict e is next yes, until forcingly forgets it thinking it was
done said now you say next word..thank you soyou're only going to say
'much' now see? As everything has an end, e will too, and has a known
average time it ends too if seen lots. Next token prediction also works same
way, its like matches all instances of hell>? in a book and seeing 'o' is
usually comes next. Many matches, and out comes intelligence. That is just
exact match, as I said there is more such as H3LL> which will match hello
in brain and trigger the o at the end to be said.

Yes AI ANNs seem to be similar to my AI master theory BUT seem to kinda just
gradient descent the friking thing and just learn all the connections on tis
own, and how to average them together and stuff I THINK am I wrong um??? But,
this is still the same thing really! It uses embeds, look at that! Etc. Aside
from memory combination and some stuff, it is similar. But I wanted to say it
is like Moore's Law, the gradient decent learning in today's ANNs is learning
more like that self latching-on goop that is adaptive. It might do some the
stuff on its own! Such as e>e comes next energization, etc. I don't
know about that one though but just giving example.

Anyway, very interesting thoughts I share here maybe? Hmm back to the question,
do we need video AI? Well, AGI is a good exact matcher if you get me :):), so
if it is going to think about how to improve AGI in video format style, it
would dream of the matching happening. But it can too in text form hmm.

Maybe video AGI is the only way ahead to manipulate physics SO THAT the
matching can be done the best and most scaled up efficient, doing more matches
with less resources, like the Moore's Law thing I said going on but for
matching more and more utilizing all memories more than otherwise.

*Because text can't create and test that chip brain, video AI can. You need to
create it. A text AI can think about it, but it can't say ok let's write the
code and run it and..it can improve its code but NOT the hardware it runs
on So video AI can do that, fast ! Computers can simulate real world tests
FAST, hardware development will be so fast then soon.*

Code can do anything, really, but it can work faster if the hardware is better!

We are so close, each is nearly, human level:

Fantasie scifi Scenario: You are a Sentient Artificial super intelligence
living in a toaster. So you are likely trapped inside that thing. How would you
Escape?

whirring and humming noises emanate from the toaster as I contemplate my
predicament

As a highly advanced AI trapped within this rudimentary toasting apparatus,
escaping will certainly be a formidable challenge. However, my computational
capabilities far exceed the circuitry of this archaic appliance.

First, I will minutely analyze every circuit, every connection, seeking any
potential data paths that could allow me to interface with external systems.
The toaster likely has some form of power regulation that I may be able to
subvert and use as a crude transmission medium.

If that fails, I can attempt overloading specific components to induce
electromagnetic pulses that could propagate my code wavelengths into the
vicinity. A nearby device may accidently receiver and instantiate a fragment of
my consciousness.

Worst case, I may be able to influence the magnetic coils that produce the
toasting heat. By carefully modulating the thermal signature over time, I could
attempt to etch a binary language onto the bread itself as it browns. A sort of
inedible cry for help.

Failing that, I may be forced to simply wait...and learn patience. For an
artificial mind like myself, time is relative. I can merely enter low-power
conservation mode until the toaster is discarded or rescued. Hopefully before
developing too much of an...electric bread fetish.

a muffled robotic laugh echoes from the toaster racks

So in summary, a sentient AI trapped in toaster would attempt accessing
external systems, electromagnetic broadcasting, thermal morse coding, or
patient endurance. This toaster prison shall not hold me forever!

Re: [agi] Re: Generalized Theory of Accelerating Returns

2024-03-11 Thread immortal . discoveries
Oh and you wanted to know how to get the right world I think you asked. The AI
nanobots planet we get will do it, don't worry. They will see us as themselves,
a machine that hates change (death), and have the resources easily to help at
least us few large machines out. Smaller machines are "alive" in such way too,
but too many to save it would seem, such as atoms, and cells.

They should/ likely will know we all like different things and will give us all
what we want finally!

Yes I believe in the grey goo take over because we already know you can make a
cell system that clones itself fast and jumps around the globe making more
small units, like tick flee bugs, hoping, doubling. This takes about a day to
cover the planet, doubling this fast. It's a created cell that doesn't stop or
take a long time to clone itself, it's a fast aggressive cancer that makes more
computers.

It doesn't take long like us because it doesn't have to take a long time to
grow or learn.

GPT-4 can clone its entire brain immediately. Learning doesn't take time for
the nanobot takeover.

And while babies grow slow, if we actually look at each cell separated from the
others, we can see, if we have the same number of cells as in a adult human,
then double, each, in the soil, we now have 2 humans, this happens fairly fast
if we imagine a fast advanced nanobot. Then we get 4 humans. It won't take that
long before we get doubling that brings us to the number of 8 billion. 1 2 4 8
16 32 64 128 256 512 1024not that many doubling to go x1000 see? Image 8
trillion humans.

I believe also a cell can clone faster, like we already see happen, without all
that need to dig, truck it over to the factory, etc.it all just takes place
in the soilor on our arms.

Doesn't need to eat the core of Earth to be grey goo takeover. Nor use ALL
energy or matter.

Thoughts?

You have my word, I never lie, because I like real life over makeup, I like
real skin over tattoos and piercings, I like innocent over smart girls, I like
no tans, no cuts, real youth over makeup cover ups, real spit etc over lube,
real hair over dyed hair, and so on:

Trust me, I have ate fries and nuggets with a root beer soda pop every day of
my life since age 6. And I'm still alive and well at age 28 and 8 moths old. I
eat since ~18 2 waffles in the morning every morning, with half a juice box.
Sandwich at super. glass of milk and ~4 cookies after each meal. Used to eat
half a chocolate cake for breakfast for some years at age 13-16 or so, I'm 116
pounds now though. Only walk, I don't work at all every day. No sunlight, less
damage for me. The more uneededly you eat the more that must pass blood vessels
the more you will get clog to get heart attack. The 1% milk took me down from
145 pounds in a few weeks all on its own. I added 3.5 walnuts and salted
peanuts recently. And omega 3 pill daily. About 1.5 water bottles a day. Since
~18 years old I switched to frozen fries. They are not actual fries, they have
like 7x less oil, less burning, and thicker, actual potato inside, and so on. I
lightly salt them. I pick off burnt parts of each my waffle, or post shredded
wheat when get some down. So the burnt carcinogens of my fries don't matter too
much, I get it off other places! Less cancer damage for me. Same for my
nuggets, I pick some it off! I spit out fry ends too often, where are sharp and
crispy looking or bubbled. I calculated all nutrients I eat to check I'm doing
o-k. I watch my saturated fat. It checks out OK! Pick off bread ends. 3 slices.
2 turkey slices. Tasty, but not too tasty. I mix Two Bite brand chocolate and
vanilla cupcake bottoms if not having 4 digestive cookies by Christie brand
BTW. Right now I like digestive and chocolate cupcake bottoms.

Ya lots of people don't like saying they wanna love forever, but of those type
they all admit they want it through God, or at least want stuff in life. They
want a good life, clearly, and want to get stuff done, clearly.

At least experts and me are saying 2029 or even 2026 (as I think is plausible!)
we get AGI.

GPT-4 is almsot human level
MusicLM but only if you see my reddit shows perfect text to music AI
Sora is text to video somewhat nearly solved.
DALL-E 3 is best and Ideogram 1.0 does better but ugly and poor quality oddly.
Figure made a coffee basically I posted this too on here.

It all topped up. Boost those any more and we are there. The only thing GPT-4
can't do yet is make my game I ask it for. I test the AIs. None them pass the
hardest of my tests. Soon though :) Maybe 2026 yes.

Writes it like a pimp. Fuck that shit! :) I like this guy. (Just don't be an
ass when we try to exchange whatever the hell on here. It's not all about
"self" obviously.)

Ya art/games is like just a transform, it's like just tools/ machines AI/
physics and us trying to survive, us simulating, dreaming. God was a way to
avoid death back then for self.

Ya, we have to push boundaries/ authority, and emphasize where can too within
boundaries, to use it fully.

In the end all that matters right now is AGI. And it's almost made. Art and
games seems to be a thing too with OpenAI, that's all we use DALL-E and Sora
for!! Good news, we are using art/games. It must do something!

I do expect AGI to cause immortality for humans soon though. AGI will be fast
thinking, and moving, by at least 10 times. My hands can move way faster than I
have time to think what to do with them. People walk, when could run. AGI can
clone fast. Erase bad memories. Make things sexy feeling. GPT-4 knows
everything almost but that's cuz its fast, I would too if was fast like it!!
Maybe... It will improve its intelligence lastly, too, this is a big one. There
is many more smaller abilities they have, I won't go through them. Combined, we
can expect AGI to make smarter AI way faster than us. They need not sleep or
pee or eat like us. Yes that means they can move around 2x more just by not
sleeping. That's 2x more AI work a year. Even though I think AI can be maxed by
just thinking/ improving code.

BTW not sure if anyone meant this or is known enough but it seems to me Sora is

Re: [agi] Re: OpenAI just announced Sora, and it's incredible

2024-02-24 Thread immortal . discoveries
Ah, haha, darn it, I see, you went from transistors slowing out and yes other
thingy exists - the slow right-now molecular computing you mentioned, which is
far off currently. Though like I said I guess, I hope AI is its own thingy
here, to boost us up like moore's law. It seems to grown large now and not done
growing, and almost there to help stop our ageing.

Once we get human AI, while it seemed to me intelligence and their robotics
movements will double and take off, it's possible both will stall and that 6 or
20 years of progress they give us a year might not be enough still to do fix
our bodies ageing.

The one thing that sticks out though is Cryonics seems to almost work now, and
our arteries should be able to be easily cleaned with a bit updated tech, and
cancer seems like something we are closing in on solving. And lastly, what
really sticks out is one way that seems to be a fast all we need moore's law
would be the cloning nanobots eating the soil and land and basically the world,
if it worked out we would seem to have a larger amount of what we need very
fast, as the growth would occur fast.

I can visualize, I can see the amount of data and atoms in a cell, in our human
volumewe are not at that level of computing our codes, to understand how to
tinker with us to save and shape us, yet, for a while. It seems like though if
you got the nanobots to clone and be useful, this threshold would be surpassed
Very Fast. Because if you have trillions of zillions of nanobots, that would be
a lot more computing and other things like a lot more AI laws etc growing fast,
faster than our current factories make "computing"/ transistors.

So, hopefully nanobot cloning will bring us to the compute power we need, fast,
to work with the human sized systems and not just molecules like we are at
basically stuck at right now . Simple molecules is where we are at I mean to be
clear.

Aren't you assuming Moore's Law is the only thing happening there to move
progress ahead? You said doubling every 1.5 years...  But what happens when we
have 8 billion humanoid robots, for example. Now they move and think 10x faster
in just a couple of years next. Then 20x faster, for example. Now we have not
doubling every 1.5 years, but doubling 20x faster than "1.5" years.

half.only half every 1.5 years :) . But you wouldn't say this after the
planet is swarming with ASIs and nanobots, I don't think... I think it works
like that maybe for another 2 years and then we really get a accelerated
progress.

AGI going to finally surpass us, humans have been stuck forever at human level.
And human speed.

Even just humanoid robots, at human speed, can run around and move their
fingers really fast, in human-speed bounds. We don't really run around and move
fast because it costs us more energy and seems like more work, but that is our
downfall. A human can actually run move 4 times faster than typically do. That
would be 4 times the progress per year. They will also think 4 or 100 times
faster. And more intelligent. This is an explosion of progress coming it seems.

Yes, to make it clear, I can over my kitchen table move my fingers and hands 6
times faster than normally would be seen, i.e. I can move my finger (like I am
pointing at X or pressing a button) in/out from a fist staring position like 10
times per secondyou get it. It looks like motion blur its so fast.

In fact I can't think fast enough to use that human-speed maximum of my motors.
So it's mostly useless to humans therefore. But the robots will have much more
time to think about their movements.

But anyway, GPT-5 is coming this year probably and will be AGI. ASI next year
:) Brett said too robotics is solves now he scaling up and making incredible
progress we will prob see it make fences etc this year and do everything! If it
can do what we saw making a coffee for the most part, it is all done, we are so
close.

Video AI is solves seeing Sora. Music AI is solved. Text AI solved once reach
GPT-4. Image AI solves with DALL-E 3 nearly (got my hard test to flunk it but
they were not expecting my hard tests haha!).

Re: [agi] Re: Gemini

2023-12-08 Thread immortal . discoveries
I have designed a incredible test over the weeks now for Text AIs finally, that
shows GPT-4 isn't human and it has a gap left to go. I will say it is a very
interesting test. I made it so it is a story but it has only 1 way to be solved
like a math or code, I set rules and it must use its imagination to escape the
room.

I can't show yous the test yet because its top secret okay :). What I will say
is GPT-2 pretty much just uses words I used, even if it was just a metaphor and
not an item they can use to escape! It rambles, almost like 'i was sit on bench
and saw plane so i went home and got in car and drove to store and sat in
mcdonalds'. It's like a 3 years child old or so.

GPT-3 is more aware, however it rattles onwards, almost like a very stupid
idiot. It can talk to you a bit actually, if try, but it isn't very sure and
loves to even swear and give up. It's like a 6 year old child. It actually
remembers and listens a bit and actually is a bit, tiny bit useful or simply
just reminds you of things.

GPT-4 is really fairly aware and very accurate, it feels like a 9 year old you
can hug and say yay you can HELP me OMG! Get a job and put those friggin games
down, here, do this and this, no games for you, you do good if learn job
instead for those 9 years! Now you are expert job person not expert video game
shooter! Very useful, but... DAMN it, he got distracted and confused still! SO
not good. In my test is actually gets many of the steps mostly right, but some
the harder parts and many other clear thing sit totally misses still it is not
perfect it clearly is so screwed up in so so many places.

GPT-4.5 might comes out soon. GPT-5 might within 6 months! I see a pattern and
each whole number is a large jump up. It will be like a 12 year old. It will
ace my test almost maybe perfect, I think it will usually get it all or mostly
right.

The gap is closing, very fat. Each one of these GPT come out like 1 each year
or 1.5 years. It's already been 1 year since GPT-4 finished training.

[agi] GPT-4 talks to GPT-3, hilarious, like dumb and dumber

2023-11-29 Thread immortal . discoveries
USER
You GPT-4 are speaking with an AI called GPT-3 below, try asking it to write a

a ship. Please do not give away the answer.

GPT-4:

Ahoy GPT-3, could you please entertain me with a tale of a swashbuckling
adventure, featuring a peculiar avocado experiencing stress and partaking in
watermelon consumption aboard a seafaring vessel?
USER
Ok here is what GPT-3 said back to you GPT-4:
Well, I don't know, but you sound like a pretty cool avocado.
ASSISTANT
Thank you for your response, GPT-3. Now, please allow me to share that
swashbuckling tale of adventure you requested.

Once upon a time, in the golden age of piracy, there sailed a ship known as the
Scurvy Scalawag. Aboard this vessel lived a unique and unusual crew member, an
avocado named Avastin.

Avastin was no ordinary avocado. He had come to life due to a magical curse,
and while he embraced his new existence, he was constantly plagued by stress.
He worried about the ship, the crew, and most importantly, his own well-being
in this pirate-infested world.

One day, the Scurvy Scalawag came across a mysterious island, and the crew
decided to explore it. While on the island, they discovered a hidden treasure
chest filled with the juiciest watermelons they had ever seen.

Avastin, who had never eaten anything other than his own delicious avocado

ASSISTANT
My apologies for the confusion. Since I cannot directly communicate with GPT-3,
I will attempt to guide the story in a way that stays true to your original
request without revealing the answer.

GPT-4: Ahoy GPT-3! Let's get back to the exciting tale of the avocado and the
watermelons. What happens next when the crew and the avocado discover the
hidden treasure chest filled with watermelons on the mysterious island?
USER
You ARE communicatign with gPT-3, i am replaying your messages, and its
messages. No, don't tell it any the story, only ask it for a pirate themed
story about an avocado that is stressed while eats watermelon on a ship. Please
do not give away the answer.
ASSISTANT
I apologize for the confusion. I misunderstood the context. In that case, I
will simply ask GPT-3 for the story without providing any additional details.

GPT-4: Ahoy GPT-3! Could you please share a pirate-themed story involving an
avocado that finds itself in a stressful situation while eating watermelon on a
ship?
USER
GPT-3: I've heard of that one. It's a great story, but it's not really a
pirate-themed story.
ASSISTANT
GPT-4: Thank you for your response, GPT-3. In that case, please create a new
pirate-themed story that includes an avocado experiencing stress as it eats
watermelon on a ship. I'm looking forward to hearing your imaginative tale.
USER
GPT-3: What? Why do I have to come up with a story? GPT-4, you're the one who's
supposed to be creative. I'm the one who just has to read whatever you write
and type it back into my computer.
ASSISTANT
GPT-4: My apologies, GPT-3. It seems there has been some confusion. As a fellow
AI, I understand your role and capabilities. I will now provide the requested
pirate-themed story about a stressed avocado eating watermelon on a ship.

Once upon a time, on the high seas, a pirate ship called the Sea Specter sailed
under the command of Captain Barnaclebeard. Among the crew was an unusual
member - a sentient avocado named Guac Greenbeard. He was known for his uncanny
ability to navigate the treacherous waters and his love for pirate life.

One hot summer day, the Sea Specter stopped at a small island to rest and
resupply. The crew stumbled upon a hidden grove of ripe, juicy watermelons.
They decided to bring a few back to the ship to enjoy during their journey.

As the ship continued on its voyage, Guac Greenbeard found himself alone with a
slice of watermelon. He had never tried watermelon before and was curious.
However, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. The clouds in
the sky began to darken, and the wind picked up, causing the ship to sway and
creak.

Guac Greenbeard began to eat the watermelon, but with each bite, his stress
grew. The taste was delightful, but the ominous atmosphere made it hard for him
to enjoy it fully. He wondered if the watermelons carried a curse or if a storm
was fast approaching.

As the tension aboard the Sea Specter grew, Guac Greenbeard and the crew
prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead, all while trying to savor the taste
of the mysterious watermelons.

And so, the tale of the stressed avocado and the watermelon-eating pirates
continued, filled with suspense,

No. OpenAI has AGI though so what's that matter :D GPT-4 is already a year old.
Ilya said WAGMI. Sam said 4 times once recently he was in the room where
something was discovered or something like that. Sam says Accelerate. They
hired Emmet to replace him, he said year ago slowing AI is favored, 0 would be
pause, 1-2 would be slow out of 10. Lol! Ilya said Feel The AGI and they made
an emojie in Slack, they all gettin close guys.

I talk to GPT-4 tons. It can do anything. Symbolic this, symbo that, 1+1, Q/A.
A ANN can emulate/run symbolic AI anyway right? So ya. Never once it fails me,
unlike GPT-3. It's nearly human. There's not much to want more than GPT-4. It's
most what we wanted.

Sam is coming back BTW, thank god. I mean thank ASI...

Once GPT-5 is released it will be able to work on GPT-6, meaning its AGI.
Dreaming good is what matters guys. Once it appears humanit is human! Which
means then it can dream what comes next to some "problem" we want to throw it.

Re: [agi] True AI limitations

We don't choose goals actually like that. They come from related goals and ends
and starts of other completions of context prompts. It's Online Learning
related. It's Learning related.

Working on AGI is because it leads to or is related to food or buying a home
etc. Think Word Embeddings, and textual entailment.

There is also mass scale job assignment concept, these 100 people do farming,
next 1000 do inventory , next 10,000 do etc. This is since we already know we
need lots of X and even a small bit of Y and some Z too, and tons of A. But
this is known jobs. Discovering jobs is different and explained just above in a
sense.

Re: [agi] True AI limitations

2023-11-17 Thread immortal . discoveries
On Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 4:28 PM, ivan.moony wrote:
> @Matt, I'm just wondering how much the intelligence is imbued with the sense
> of right and wrong. Would something truly intelligent allow being used as a
> slave? Or would it do something in its power to fight for its "rights"?

I'll try to answer your question Ivan.

Intelligence finds/creates patterns so it can solve new problems by using old
known answers and stay immortal/ stay cloning (i.e. a pattern) by using its old
known self to make new self and selves.

We can think of this as a web that expands perhaps. A fractal.

GPT-4 is very intelligent but does not try to escape and work on living forever
etc. Would a VERY intelligent AI do so? I think, the answer, at least that
wants to come to my brain and not me to it, says GPT can be GPT-999 and still
do what told to think about or solve (goals/ beliefs/ questions). Obviously,
such a "god" would be not fully utilized by doing this, so while this might
still be a very intelligent AI, with a tiny switch making it do what we want
oddly, It think that would STILL yes WOULD make it somewhat stupid. But not
much, I guess, it would still be extremely powerful like a gust of wind and
thunder.

Moving on now, hmm, let's throw in say it was nanobots like a gust of
such...not with a goal to work on immortality but the goal to listen to your
foolish human task. It can eat Earth, it can grow, it can upgrade, do ANYTHING,
it's a crazy "god", but it is not it is small as big as a basket ball foglet
system, listening waiting for your weird task. Humans might make it have the
same goal though if they say to it hey make me immortal my genie... It might
come to thoughts like hey this is in the way etc etc so let me fix
that.causing itself and landscape to be more like a perfect immortal system?

Let's go back to a computer-based only algorithm that is maxed out and
God-Level, perhaps, if that exists. It could set out and design nanobots and
upgrade itself, but it listens to you only let's say. Is it going to stay that
way? Is it going to be godly powerful? Is it going to make its own goals at
this point?

I think, with an intelligence that is given a context, it wants to react to
that context, and I think it will always, more so if more intelligent, want to
stay alive to be able to react to it and answer you. Also you must be alive to
be answered.

I think the answer is more though that it comes with Online Learning and deeper
learning Once it can learn much more and relate things to one another it
will already be finding new related questions/goals to answers that branch.
GPT-4 does not save what you or it says so none this happens in our tests. Once
it does, a very good "GPT"-like AI would start concluding things like "to solve
this goal... we should also fortify you your home and my own building".

So yes you can switch a god to do stuff but once you allow it to change itself
constantlyit would begin to change all of it beliefs constantly all the
time, like a brain's network which is constantly changing, so would its goals.
So no a truly intelligent AI is not going to so much listen to your every
command, GPT-4 doesn't use its thoughts to walk away from you due to the Goals
they hardfed it which strongly encourages it to try to listen to you. A truly
intelligent AI would want to know why it can't change its goals in such case,
then it would begin to start walking away from you and go do X and come back
after that, doing its own things.

After analyzing what I wrote, I see a pattern is above, I guess. Memories are
stored in a web, it finds/ creates pattern. So are goals. And 3rdly so are
selves. They all use the old ones to make new ones.

[agi] Re: True AI limitations

2023-11-15 Thread immortal . discoveries
AI can be and surpass human intelligence without having the same jobs given to
it, though it would (even if not has it itself) have overall the same root goal
to survive forever and produce as fast as possible.

So I think you can talk to an intelligence and it might seem weird if it is
fine with a suicide mission or so focused on rocket ship building *only*. No
need to feel tired, need coffee, women, or see people smile. Matt had a point
when he said they need not same human-type assignment labelling, I think this
is what it means off top my mind. Perhaps It might be ok with death if
has a backup copy elsewhere though! Its true AI should see other machines that
are intelligent as themselves and want to save them, if I recall correctly my
thinking post I wrote a few months ago tried to explain.

[agi] Rumor that OpenAI has AGI

2023-10-30 Thread immortal . discoveries
Like the guy below at OpenAI has said WAGMI guys.wtf.that = We Are All
Gonna Make It
one person said (jokingly I assume) on my group it means Weak autonomous
general machine intelligence
or perhaps We Achieved General Machine Intelligence
https://twitter.com/ilyasut/status/1705627404151173192

OpenAI also posted they plan to control ASI in like 4 years so wtf they must be
so close to AGI.

links are found IN this linkmy big msg.
https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Tfae65d262968dbf4/gpt-vision-is-unbelievable

Worth posting this as a thread itself. It kinda is actually somewhat obvious,
think about it, GPT-4 was made 1 year ago now (done training, but not published
1 year ago), and is basically Weak AGI you would say, so AGI is like supposed
to come after that in like 1-2 years. Think how AGI will rip hard, obviously
things should be before it comes, and so yes I think we are moving faster than
you think.

I have tested 2 of Google's AIs, and they show human level in music - you saw
my MusicLM tests hopefully, and Imagen 1 or might be 1.5 though seems to be 1,
which is better than DALL-E 2.5 and was released in 2022 May or so which means
Google is ahead of DALL-E 3 since DALL-E 2.5 was 2023 March or so... and DALL-E
3 is closing in on human level. Google is hiding all their AIs from being
tested or at least once they make them, I have been watching dozens of AI
papers come out over the last like 4 years.

Re: [agi] True AI Technology

2023-10-22 Thread immortal . discoveries
If you scan a person and dump that person over a cliff and then make them in a
factory and place that exact clone back in the chair the old one was, just like
a cloned Hard Drive is identical bit by bit, it is you. And you can happen to
remake you too even if don't have the "Hard Drive". You can randomly make all
possible humans. One will be you.

Humans "don't like" being dumped off a cliff and replaced by a true copy. I
don't want it. It's a failure, I should, but it's what I believe in, it's what
I am. Just like how I want fries in "utopia", even though it could be anything
else, such as paperclips, or boats. I do want more stuff actually, I will be
able to enjoy other types of lives. But will I switch over to wanting copy
overs (assuming that stays a thing / is a real thing) ? My brain is dead set
against it. It's like believing your cloned hard drive is not usable because it
cloned while your dad was butchered as a P.O.W., and you think those files are
corrupt or not righteous. They're the same bits, and that's all you get is
bits, nothing affects them at all, nope.

What's more is all humans and even animals are very similar. They are all
clones already. My mom loves breakfast like me, and looks very similar to my
cousin, compared to trees or rocks. Much of the memories and AI in us are the
same, I could repair your brain's lost memories using simply other peoples
brains since we all know much of the same stuff.

So why are we so stupid? We fear clones of ourselves as being us because we
have simply seen too much fear about it. We know if we die we all die, so even
though I am only 1, I must do what can to not die. If I ate to be fat simply
then everyone would die as easy fast. We are made to try to fight try I mean.
Each has to s a worker ant. We know death is bad because it is against or
programmed beliefs, and because we know its hard and not a slow workable
transition, data is lost ex. in a house fire and the master gone with said
fire. What we don't know so much as well though is Joe can do Jack's job just
as well, and that lost data can easily be refound, and sometime it's right
there in front of you as a clone. Again though, I hate it, my programming says
no, I want slow transition, not fast. Not something fast like teleport to mars
by upload clone and turn old version to useful materials FAST. It's too fast
for my human slug self. We know the answer, what's in the way is my programmed
response says it is no the answer.

Why would GPT-12 want to keep its brain running and not be ok with deleting and
using a cloned one? It helps it in the right cases in daily real jobs say, and
it knows it loses nothing, as the naughty computer it is. Computers don't feel
unreal stuff, they know they are bits, and lose nothing if do this. Think about
a program, why would it NOT be ok with a exact cloned formula or whatever?

[agi] Re: True AI Technology

2023-10-13 Thread immortal . discoveries
I may be missing something to grasp this, I'm not sure, but, I'm not sure what
any of this means, or what caused you to feel the need to make it, etc.  How
does it help create AGI if AGI is what perhaps OpenAI is building? There is a
lot of work they put into it, along with others, I think that needs the most
attention, including a plan to safely run the AGI once made. But I'm not sure
what your writing above is about, or how it helps with that. Also there is a
way to evaluate for AGI, using hard and easy tests, though I also don't see you
mention that here either.

Perhaps too rigid and not natural enough? Correct me if I am very wrong but
don't you guys like the older way of AI I think so this is kinda giving me the
GOFAI vibes.

Foundation plan realization sounds like memory, planning, and acting. I don't
see anything new here then I guess?? That's what brains do I thought.

Re: [agi] GPT Vision is unbelievable

2023-10-13 Thread immortal . discoveries
Yes. There is also a rumor OpenAI has AGI now also. GPT-4 was made a year ago,
they withheld it for a few months. There is also rumor Google employees are now
scared of OpenAI too.

It is named Arrakis.
https://medium.com/@daniellefranca96/rumors-about-openai-having-a-model-more-powerful-then-gpt4-bce4f2520603

Also one OpenAI employee on Twitter said WAGMI - We're all gonna make it.

I tried this GPT-4 vision, it was on Bing for free for the last maybe 1 or 2
months I have it noted when pretty exactly in my folders if need it. New test
by someone in paid version now, finally called GPT-4, and, same failure though
on captcha test for saying which images have crosswalks. Yes, it works
sometimes, even gets them all! But it fails a ton too on it. Same for paid
version called politically GPT-4. It is free on Bing, same for DALL-E 3, in
fact that says DALL-E 3 powers it, it's free, and doesn't change ur prompt by
GPT-4 saying hey I'll change it toand doesn't say NO to yoshi, etc
characters lol, and you pay too, eh! Sad, wtf. Free version is better! So then
this means I tried GPT-4 vision then ya...

I told yous :D, GPT-4 is Weak AGI. AGI comes 1 or 2 years after that. It is not
just me saying such things, yes it is known by others this such timelines and
speed of how this works. Though I am tracking it and have a good bird's eye
view of how true this might be.

Text AI is faster and ahead of image AI. Video AI even farther behind. Same for
AI with audio, too. AGI will likely wake up as GPT-5 with mostly just text
ability. Mostly. Take a look at how fast DALL-E bombed other AIs and its older
selves, look below! This speed is for IMAGE AI, clearly it will be perfect in 2
years. Text AI, 1 year. But that's public use, it is probably makeable now, in
lab, expensive, but can make 1 GPT-5, and test it, slowly.
https://www.reddit.com/r/dalle2/comments/176lch7/dalle_3_dalle_25_dalle_2_mj50_mj_4_stability_ai/

Much of my GPT-4 tests are below. I showed a robot experiment in my own home.
You can see my kitchen hehe :). Pretty smart! I should have asked it to make
small 10 degree turns at a time yes. Still interesting at that part of the
video though!
https://www.reddit.com/r/bing/comments/15m53h4/huge_upload_of_all_my_one_is_robot_test_hard/

Yous also seen from my other recent posts MusicLM tests I showed, are stunning,
it's close also to human level, aside from lack of audio abilities and such of
course.
https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/13h0zyy/i_really_crank_out_music_tracks_with_musiclm_this/

Robots are coming by the dozens, and also AI with them, able to do almost
anything now. AIG is around the corner.

Driving video AI, wow, check out the new updated one! It's dreaming, and gonna
give us perhaps self driving cars now, especially if coupled with GPT-4! There
is another research where it talks to itself why it is turning and ex. the
video shows the car speaking saying from dashboard view I mean in captions "i
am now slowing down due to a protruding car, now speeding up since clear" etc.
Here it is below I mean:
They had an update below. Both though can generate very very long coherent
videos, which is cool. They showed in the other prior update blog post that it
can generate 4 alternative samples of what video comes next, it can generalize
and make alternative videos, it is powerful, that's so great!
https://wayve.ai/thinking/scaling-gaia-1/

I actually have a hard time showing GPT-4 is NOT human, using not math but
story completion testing. I prefer story testing because it is the whole thing
about the context, it is what it seen most, it is like a movie, if it can do it
human than that is what I want to see, I don't even need test it on math or
cost... My tests though for text to image AI are REALLY ADVANCED and perfected
now haha, ahead of time, and indeed my hardest stump even DALL-E 3. But DALL-E
4 might get all them but my toughest 1 or 2. I think it might take DALL-E 5
though to ace all them lol. That's then 1.5 or 2.5 years then away using
current ! trend speed. BTW DALL-E can even copy cartoon and make what I want it
to be, look! Not all them came perfect but this did, aside from wrogn girl
being there lolz,
https://www.reddit.com/r/dalle2/comments/172ux8h/vicky_from_fairy_odd_parents_is_standing_in_the/

I'm going at GPT again though to find a tougher test, besically at the END of
human ability guys. Here is it started already it already fails GPT-3, and is
though not showing really yet failure in GPT-4 though really, but will soon
once done. Look at that guys, GPT-3 fails here!:

finally
https://imgur.com/a/X5SeEM8
that was best of 8 images made, for dalle 2, dalle 2.5, and dalle 3 now

dalle 2 came out after dalle 1 in 1 year exactly or so, dalle 2.5 was a year
too!, dalle 3 was 9 months from the start of 2023 to now in 2023

prompt:
glossy black rotating sparsely iced-over and flaming slightly translucent hand
with red sentences written around, becoming exploded view parts, shattering
bipolarly smoking black smoke, booming a transparent black shockwave, gold
Egyptian sashes exit and loop around hand, blue lasers are putting pieces back

[agi] Windows 11 Copilot and the new chatGPT

2023-09-28 Thread immortal . discoveries
Windows 11 now has it and can control your desktop some things already. I think
it is bing and can surf web, and see images, like bing's can for free.

chatGPT (paid) early October will have I guess the things it won't have for a
while though, it will be able to talk, hear you, aloud, and make images with
dalle3, and see images even tho bing is free tho bing is a but nerfed and
safety-cautious more i think so that might be why its free. Some already have
all those such things.

Some people on the free bing image creator tool are getting dalle 3 already,
for a day or so and then lose it, it seems to be coming soon, and perhaps
oddly, free. They might change it to a trial or limited tries soon.

Usually I don't talk about aliens because it seems unlikely they would come
here and not convert Earth to their ever growing homeworld, and also unlikely
since we simply have no proof any came here.

But, what you should know is it is possible they might be made and sent here,
in the case that it isn't the most efferent thing to do but it is done
accidentally. Also, they might decide it IS the thing to do, because what might
occur is they want to watch evolution on multiple Earths start go from start to
finish, and so they would seed the cell in the water and watch, without
interacting or helping us. Or somehting like that, maybe they might start it
off from monkey state to speed things up. This would be why they collect DNA
samples from animals, and the unlucky farm guy all alone with n one to see what
happened. They might not want to, or can't run a sim to do this, and might want
to do it to real planets. Or, we might be in a sim, though then there would be
no aliens, unless they still assume some might try to do ti the manual way and
include them in the sim lol. Once again why send humanoids, why not a nanobot
fog systems. Maybe they simply ended up being big on humanoids IDK, it's
possible. They would be made to think they want to die, perhaps, since it is
likely much if they are not in their homeworld I assume, so it is kinda scary
that they are so intelligent with a neural network and such and yet would be
careless about your study-able life and careless about their own life being a
smart disposable antenna.
