Re: people touching blind people

If they're just taking hold of my arm to help, I mostly just accept it even if I don't need it. If it really isn't necessary to the point of being ridiculous, I'd just say I'm okay but thanks anyway. On one or two occasions I've had people grab me by the shoulders and try to steer me like I'm a trolley or something. That's not cool, but I'd still try to be polite about it because They're not doing it out of malice.

Re: NVDA On A POS?

All the more reason for Microsoft to work on improving Narrator, Magnifier, and their other accessibility features. They should be focusing on making them work better with their remote technologies, Windows Server, and POS systems. Why bother installing third party products that *might* pose security risks to a company when you can use in house solutions built into the system? If Microsoft is as serious about improving employment for folks with disabilities as they claim to be, they need to get started working on this stuff right now.

Re: Epitaph Online

@Ironcross, in epitaff it wasn't so much that the amount of information was overwhelming, just that the speed it was chucked at you at and the way it was formatted made it really difficult to stay current with what was going on. I have no problems with this in games like Clok, indeed I'd generally rather have interesting combat myself where you need to do different things, but obviously it needs to  presented in a way you can actually take in what is going on and react rather than having to always play catchup. Epitaff might be possible combat wise with really heavy scripting and aliasing, but personally I was never keen on having to effectively program my own interface for a game just to be able to play it, which is why it'd be nice if the developers did something about the combat to make the game properly accessible.

Re: people touching blind people

I'm afraid this is one of my pet hates, I admit I might have more of an issue about this than other people, but honestly, why does lacking eyeballs mean also having no right to personal space? Often when I'm getting onto or off a train someone will grab my arm without asking, something which if they did it to a woman would be considered fairly severe harassment, sometimes people will touch my hand etc when just talking or asking a question, or put a hand on my shoulder, which just tends to make me feel like an animal they're interacting with.I agree with Flacus that people are essentially trying to do a "good deed for the day", however I'm afraid that the fundamental difference here is that someone who grabs without asking is not actually treating me as a human being, they're just behaving in an expected way towards a current example of homo blindus weirdus.Of course, if people actually ask "would you like to take my arm?" or "can I help you off the train" or the like, that is another matter, since then they're treating me as a rational human being with a brain who can answer for himself, and i will respond with all politeness, however if people grab first and ask questions later I tend to respond badly by shaking their arm off or brushing a hand off me. I'm afraid I sometimes think blind people should be given tasers for this reason, so whenever some idiot decides to get handy bzzzt! With blind people I am the same. Unless I've given you permission to touch me, hands off please, I recall one boy who used to attend a school I went to who used to swim through the air with his hands towards whoever he was talking to, and then literally paw them mercilessly, on one occasion I literally grabbed both his wrists, shoved his hands against the wall and said "Stay there!" i did have one hilariously surreal experience at the feel the force convention, when a tiny blind fellow dressed as a Jawa proceeded to want to feel my Jedi costume, and indeed most of me as well, which was just down right strange! .I will freely admit I have hangups about touch myself, but hay other people don't have  put up with this, so why should people be allowed to violate my personal boundaries just because I happen to lack eyeballs. By an ironic twist of fate, I am married to a lady who is almost the opposite. She is probably one of the most openly tactile people you can imagine, and has no problems being touched. To an extent this might be because with the exception of stalkers and perverts,  people respect women's physical boundaries far more than mens. Plus, my lady is just like that naturally anyway, she's an extremely affectionate person who really doesn't mind being touched. Paradoxically, for all I really hate touch from random strangers, my lady and I touch each other all the time, indeed we're probably one of those couples who are either sickeningly sweet, or really irritating depending upon your perspective . Someone once described watching us as quite sensual, since where two sighted people would naturally communicate by eye contact and facial _expression_, we tend to touch each other instead, then again that's all part of being married, and is just  reason why I  touch from random strangers.

I respond in different ways in different moments. Sometimes I tell people I don't need to be touched, others I elbow, because we don't always have time for words, we have places to go, things to do, and people to touch, excuse me, see. Lol. I need to let people know that asking for attention is the best thing they can do, however there are those times that words are not worth more than actions. In school I do more elbow since people are more teenagers and elbow is fine since they are my age, but in public I either let it slide and regret it later, or speak out against it. I do not want to elbow the elderly, or any other helpful public person, so I do my best to use words. But i can not tell you how many times in school I have elbowed people because of this.

Re: people touching blind people

I'm in full agreement with Dark, and to be honest, the letting someone use me to fill their good deed quota for the day excuse doesn't fly with me. If you kicked four puppies today, and then you stroll up to me and grab me and assume that I must need help just because I'm carrying a cane, I don't think that quite makes up for it, buddy. The people who are the most concerned about doing good deeds are usually very religious folks, and I highly doubt every person who does this is a devout believer. It's possible, of course, but not likely. In the majority of cases, I am polite about it, because there's no need to cause a scene, but I usually walk away from such encounters grinding my teeth and will probably need to vent about it later. The last thing I want to hear at that point is, "oh, you were the perfect vessel for their good deed." That's sickening, and I hate it.I do admit that a lot of my problem with this stems from the fact that I don't like to be touched until I know someone fairly well, there are even family members who I'm not close to and who I only see a couple of times a year, if that, who have a penchant for using my shoulder as an armrest. Then again, they also have the annoying habit of talking to me like I'm an infant, too, so there's that. Anyway, even though they're family and I know they're not creepy, my whole body tenses until they decide to wander off and annoy someone else. You'd think that would be apparent to them. What really bothers me about the whole thing is that, especially nowadays, talk of boundaries is all the rage. If you don't have strong boundaries and express them proudly, you're seen as weak, even mentally unhealthy and emotionally stunted. But disabled people having boundaries? Don't be silly.

Re: TramSim: A new simulation game

For those who are having trouble downloading the game, you can get the whole folder zipped. When the page loads, start to shift+tab until you eventually find the "download" option and press it. If you highlight a single file or folder in the list further down the page it'll only download that selected file. But if nothing is selected, which is how the page starts out, pressing download will give you a zip with everything.I tried TramSim  yesterday and I must say the game has tons of potential. It looks like you're doing a lot of things right as there are stations you can stop at, traffic lights, speed limits and you are scored by how well you're doing, and the sounds are quite realistic. However, there are some things that would make the experience even better.Firstly, the controls. The keys and logic make sense, but I find it a bit hard to control my speed. You can press the D and A keys as many times as you want, and so it's really easy to overdo it and have to quickly go in the other direction. This is made worse by the fact that every time you press one of those keys, the game pauses while it plays the click sound. I thhink the accelerator/decelerator should be limited, so you could have 3 or 4 clicks in each direction to accelerate and decelerate, plus the neutral setting. For aproaching stations, I think there needs to be more warning, like in TubeSim or dreamy train. Announce the distance to a station starting at 300 meters to give people time to start stopping. Same thing for traffic lights. You don't have to say how much time will pass until a red light turns green, but making an announcement there's a red/yellow/green light a few hundred meters before you get there would help, and if you hear there's a yellow light you'd know you might not be able to drive through it. You might not even need to use speech for this actually. Because the game is set on the street, you could just take actual sounds of traffic lights and have them get louder as you approach.I can't wait to see where this thing goes. I love simulations!

@Dark, I thought you talked about their attitudes hiring-wise, like some sort of past discrimination. Now, I don't think Microsoft's products accessibility is perfect, but they do a good job, much better than Google in my opinion. It's totally crazy that they released Edge without making it accessible seriously. But now that they will rebuild it on top of Chromium, I bet it's gonna be much more accessible in the future. However, I'm not sure why I would use Edge when I can use Chrome, we'll see what they come up with. Also, it would be nice if you made a series of videos to use NVDA, I'm an advanced user with JAWS, have been using it for many years, but my use of NVDA has been limited to a couple days in total. I'd especially like the advanced stuff, like the power user tips and tricks. In other news, something totally crazy happened lately. An ophtalmologist reached to me after reading an article about me. She wanted to tell me about Luxturna, a gene therapy for Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA) that affects the RPE65 gene. I already knew about that treatment and told her that my LCA affected the RDH12 gene, not RPE65, but maybe it wouldn't be too hard to reuse the same technique to target RDH12 instead of RPE65 in a near future. She did some research apparently because she came back to me few days later and told me that she was told that research on RDH12 LCA was lagging behind, only being able to characterize the disease on mice. She linked to me rdh12.com, and told me that I should contact Dr. Jean Bennett in the references list, because she was the co-director of the study for the gene therapy on RPE65.So I sent an e-mail to Dr. Jean Bennett asking if there was any development for a gene therapy on RDH12 and what made it so hard to target RDH12 instead of RPE65 using the same technique. I thought it would be to find a viral vector that would target that specific gene, but apparently it is being able to find animals that have the same disease aka LCA with RDH12... or so it was. Jean told me that they thought they circumvented this problem and they will start trials in the next 1.5 years. She then asked me if I wanted to be contacted when they would soon start the trials. I said yes of course! This means that I could be a test subject for Luxturna on RDH12 mutations. Now results vary of course, there might be side-effects, perhaps I will not be elligible, perhaps it's gonna be delayed, but maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to see again. There is hope, but no illusion. If it happens, great, if it doesn't, I still can have a wonderful life full of challenges.By the way, if anyone with LCA RDH12 happens to be in the vicinity of Philadelphia, they are currently carrying out tests in preparation for the trials. You should contact Dr. Tomas Aleman to .Cheers!

Bonus points if you do it so subtly nobody else catches on.That being said I've not had strangers grab me, mostly they just ask if I need help and if they can guide me. I must be lucky in that regard, really. It's amazing how helpful some people are really...and you wouldn't expect it.

Re: What do You Guys Want to See in an Independence Training Center

Yeah, the speeches are pretty over the top. In my favorite one of all, note the sarcasm, one person tries to lay out in a neat little package the stages a blind person goes through in order to become truly independent.https://nfb.org/Images/nfb/Publications … dres93.htmTLDR: First, every blind person who hasn't attended an NFB training center is meek, passive, and basically worthless. Then, as they start training, they get a chip the size of California on their shoulder, not wanting or needing any help from anyone. By the end of their 6 to 9 month stay, however, they magically become well-adjusted, integrated members of society. Do I even need to explain how stupid this is? Plus, it's offensive. It would be sort of alright if it was made clear that this is a model that some students of the training centers tend to follow, but it's strongly implied, if not outright stated, that not only is this what all students do, it's a desirable outcome. That's not how human psychology works, and if it does at these places, it's not healthy. Even the five stages of grief is just a standard, it's freely acknowledged and well-known that not everyone grieves the same way, and that no one's experience of it is the same, so what the hell gives this guy the right to make such sweeping generalizations? I think this speech, among others, but I personally find this one the most heinous, is why some people believe the NFB has cultlike tendencies. While I've softened my stance on that over the years, I do have to admit that reading things like that doesn't help their case, not even a little bit.

Re: Scramble request

@33, you were pretty much implying that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a game being paid. By posting what you did, you implied, directly or indirectly, that there is a problem with games being paid, and, by extension, games shouldn't be paid, owing to the fact that people under 15 usually don't have money or are very limited on their spending (which is very reasonable and understandable), people not having PayPal in their country, or people who have to pay extra because of currency conversion. Here is the problem with both the second and third points: most people who sell games have to use PayPal. That is a fact. And there is a good reason for it. By far, PayPal makes the process of becoming a merchant very easy. Is it the best idea? Yes and no. Yes, because almost everyone has a PayPal account, and no, because its not available in some countries. But let's look at the (popular?) WooCommerce plugin for WordPress that lets you create your own online store: in total, it supports a large range of payment processors, including Stripe, Amazon Pay, PayFast, Square, PayPal (PayPal checkout and PayPal Powered by Braintree), Authorize.Net AIM, PayPal Pro, Authorize.Net CIM, FirstData, Sage Pay, and eWAY, and probably more. All of these have one big issue though -- its hard to manage all of these! The logical option would be to set all of these up and manage them, but damn, 12 payment gateways! And all of them require varying amounts of info or may have manual verification or other strange things in the process. It would be a nightmare! So, to minimize the amount of work people have ot go through, most companies set up 1 or 2 gateways for entering debit cards on the site and processing it or using something like PayPal. There are those that set up more, but 1 or 2 is usually the most common. So, instead of complaining about how people suffer under-15 spending limits, don't have PayPal in their countries, or have to deal with conversion rates, why don't you find a solution to the first two? Or at least encourage people to broaden their horizon of payment gateways a bit. Conversion rates are impossible to eliminate, unfortunately. That will always remain and all you can do is put up with that. That's economics at its finest.

Re: Core mud, futuristic crafting and mining game

@Silvermoon, nope the game is not dead, though I admit it'd be nice to see more people on there. I even saw one of the coders, though what the state of development is I don't know, a shame since there are one or two miner access tweaks (no pun intended), which might help, such as having the score displayed in a list rather than columns, and perhaps some fixes to the rather inaccessible tripple  triad minigame called core quad, still if you want more people on there is sometyhing obvious you can do to help that situation .@JaceK Okay I'll try and answer the questions, though also bare in mind the core wiki over on http://www.coremud.org/wiki/doku.php is handy if you want to search for information directly. You can use set-start in a shop or in  apartment if you have one to start out there when you login. You can raise skills both by using them, and by spending xp in the skill advancement centre in human resources, find human resources by going  sw of the central hub then heading all the way west. Since there are some skills like inspect and repair that you can't even use without putting a point or two into them this is definitely a good idea. The combat messages are a wee bit misleading since "nick"  reflects the amount of damage your weapon has done, not necessarily how successful your attack has been. As far as I've been able to determine, how much damage you do depends upon your general attack skill and the skill for the weapon your using, as well as the type of weapon you have, so you'll need to both get a better gun and improve your skills to do more damage, though I need to look into buying/crafting some better  gear myself too, and will know more when I've done that.Hth.

Re: Mathematical software?

Hi there, hmm, she probably isn't that crazy to math like me, is she? Anyway, Lambda is great choice, it covers nearly everything from basics like 2+2=4 to advanced multidimensional calculus, i has been using it for years to suit my school as well as personal needs. Also I recommend to look at:http://www.wjagray.co.uk/maths/ASCIIMathTutorial.htmlAsciimath is a playn-text format to write mathematical equations using only ascii characters in very intuitive and straight-forward way.I'm using it when writing notes from physics, I store them in txt where asciimath is a great way to represent equations efficiently and in a standardized way. I use it also during exams, when we have paper tests, I receive a word document from my teacher and fill everything using asciimath format there.Teachers can then read it without any special knowledge, because as I said, it is very intuitive. That's the reason why I prefer it over LaTeX, LaTeX is powerful, but you spend a lot of time just by decyphering what it wants to say in equations even if you know the syntax. You might ask, when asciimath is there, what is the reason to use lambda?Hmm, not easy question. Asciimath is very efficient and it isn't problem to use it for example to express a variable from complex equations.I am not sure if I used a correct english word, by expressing S from following equation I mean:p=f/Sp*S=fS=f/pThisone is of course trivial, but it is possible to make much more difficult things.Lambda has three major advantages:- it has build in calculator, which can annoy you much when working with very small numbers, but with few tricks you can manage even those and pressing ctrl+f9 on a line with _expression_ is very comfortable way to obtain results. No need to rewrite anything, just press one shortcut.- Second advantage is in fact, how Lambda represent things. Textual description of elements is very good thing for faster orientation in complex equations or line with multiple versions of the same _expression_ when you want to store exact steps.- And third is good system of keyboard shortcuts, which can speed up writing equations. That's it, I recommend to use Asciimath for physics and Lambda for mathematics, this combination showed like very powerful to me.She might be also interested in checking out Mathtrax:https://prime.jsc.nasa.gov/mathtrax/It is a program developed by Nasa, which allows you to enter equation of a function and then is able to describe the curve textually and convert it to sound as well, so you can hear how exactly the function looks. it is very powerful utility, it allows you to set size of view area as well as for example set values for constants in your equation, so you can see how the graph changes when values you entered are used.I think that is all what one student needs.Best regardsRastislav

Anyway, Lambda is great choice, it covers nearly everything from basics like 2+2=4 to advanced multidimensional calculus, i has been using it for years to suit my school as well as personal needs. Also I recommend to look at:http://www.wjagray.co.uk/maths/ASCIIMathTutorial.htmlAsciimath is a playn-text format to write mathematical equations using only ascii characters in very intuitive and straight-forward way.I'm using it when writing notes from physics, I store them in txt where asciimath is a great way to represent equations efficiently and in a standardized manner.

Re: Ideas, concepts, mechanics, go wild!

@21, you made me think about this bridge builder game I used to play. Every levels, you had to build a bridge solid enough for a train to pass it with limited amount of materials to build the bridge.Which makes me think that I'd like a game where you have to do designs like in real life. In Canada, the mission of the engineering order is to protect the public. However, companies want to make profit, so an engineer has to do designs that are safe enough so that no one gets hurt, but he also cannot afford to make a completely overkill design, because it's too expensive. The idea of the game would be to play as a company that wants to make profit, but you loose if someone ever dies using what the company produce.Another game I'd like to see is where you play a communication company. You are hired to manipulate the medias in favor of your clients which all had a legal issue or scandal.

I'm trying to make it as user friendly as possible without requiring any coding knowledge, but that restricts map makers in a way too.Let me know what you think and we'll go from there.

Re: people touching blind people

Since I commute pretty much every weekday, this is something I encounter a lot. The thing is, it mostly happens during times like getting onto trains or busses, and the people who do it are just trying to be nice most of the time. This doesn't mean I just let it happen, usually I jerk away from such things. But I try not to be too obvious about it, because causing a scene because of such a matter seems even more detrimental to me. I'm quite fine with doing this, since most of these people I will probably never meet again, much less interact with them. Should it be someone I deal with on a regular basis, calmly stating that "that's not cool" is usually enough.

Re: Accessibility of online therapy apps?

I have a bit of an update, although I'm afraid it's not good news.Since the response from Talkspace I received last week, I haven't heard anything back from them.I was also hopeful after finding a lead on a blind psychologist. I contacted this person through their website and expressed my concerns about online therapy apps, asking them if they had any experience with them. I also asked about anything else I should know, since many private therapists do offer video chatting services, in terms of platforms which they might use that are more accessible than others. That way, when contacting said therapists, I would be able to ask which platform they use and get an idea of how successful I might be at using it. Even though I believe private therapists would be way out of my price range, it was an avenue I was at least willing to explore.Well, the only response to my message, which I believe was worded clearly and concisely, was to ask whether or not I wanted to set up an appointment. I replied that if I needed an appointment to discuss my concerns, that I would do that, but I'm not from the area in which this person practices, so it would have to be over the phone if at all possible. However, the complete lack of acknowledgment to anything I'd said is troublesome, and I'm wary of what, if anything, to expect. I'm definitely feeling discouraged at this point.

Best laptop that is fully accessible and will last for 6 years!

No extra bloatware, no budget considerations. It must be fully capable. It must be an ultra book. I am going to use it in a law school at a small desk. It must be the best. I could have found this online but I want other screen reader users to provide input. Thank you all for the help, I know you all have different experiences and I hope to here them all. About 13 inches but perhaps not bigger than that. Have a good one and go wild!!

Re: Why I like old music discussion

My musical interests are quite different from many others here.  Lately I’ve been listening to music from the Andes in South America. This music often has a quite noticeable indigenous American influence. Guitars and other string instruments usually play the chords and baseline, with sometimes quite loud flutes taking the  melody. These songs are either in Spanish, and sometimes in indigenous languages such as quechua or aymara. There is modern music from this region, which is  somewhat the same as the older stuff,  but I think I will always like the older recordings better. They sound more authentic, more real. There is also really good old music from latin america. Like that stuff too. I used to listen to it a lot.Haven't looked in to this as much, but I have heard some of it. There is some pretty good old music from africa as well.Basically, just about anywhere you loock. and everywhere you look, you may see the same reoccurring pattern. At least I do. I like the older stuff a lot better.I like world music especially from older times because it’s lets me see in some cases cultures that are slowly disappearing or music styles that are slowly disappearing. I also like to see how people blend ancient music styles with modern. You don’t see much of that nowadays because in places like  Africa, sorry to generalize the continent, things like autotune are becoming way too widespread, Another complaint I have about modern music. Admittedly there are times when autotune could sound really cool, but right now it is extremely overused.

2019-02-20 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Off-topic room : turtlepower17 via Audiogames-reflector

Re: Why I like old music discussion

I have a huge collection of music of all varieties, but I definitely find older music to be more comforting. When I was growing up, my parents, my mom, who's more into classic rock and pop, and my dad, who's mostly into classic country played music around the house constantly. My dad has always been into collecting a lot of vintage/antique things, and when I was little, he went through a phase where arcade cabinets were his thing. So, in our basement, we had a pinball machine or two, Asteroids, one of those bowling games where you put sand down on the board and pushed the metal puck thing to knock down the pins, and, my favorite, a jukebox. I spent many, many hours as a kid listening to records and playing those games. When my dad eventually lost the job he had at the time, we had to sell all of that stuff, but we kept all the records that had been inside the jukebox, because my dad knew how much they meant to me. To this day, I still have them, they're my most prized possessions, and I take good care of them while still spinning them on occasion. Listening to a lot of those songs takes me back to some of the best memories I have. Unfortunately, when I started going to school, and kids would ask me what music I liked, I would rattle off a list of classic artists, and they would be genuinely confused. Then, that puzzlement turned to scorn, and it became one more thing that I was made fun of for. Finally, after catching on a few years too late, I started to realize that maybe, just maybe, I should try to see what all the hype was about the Backstreet Boys and such. So I started getting my hands on the Now That's What I Call Music series, which I honestly can't believe is still a thing. It was as good a place to start as any, and it made me realize how locked into only liking the top 40 most people are. Now, this was the late 90's, early 2000's, and I have some guilty pleasures which I quite like from that time. Then, as a teenager, I started getting into a lot of rock music. During all that time, I denied that I ever liked any of the classics I'd grown up on, and actively ridiculed them to cover up the fact that I really missed all the associations I had with them. Luckily, I started to come around when I was maybe 16 or 17, I started listening to all of those different styles, from what I'd grown up with, to the rock and metal I'd developed a fondness for, and that's how I began expanding my music collection over time. Now I have almost 6TB worth of stuff from tons of genres, but now it's not being accused of being weird for liking older music you have to worry about, although that does happen, it's being accused of being a hipster. I guess you can't win no matter what you do.Anyway, my favorite time period in music history is the 1960's. Everyone was an individual, everyone was evolving. yeah, a good deal of that evolution was drug-induced, but no matter how it happened, it did happen. I sometimes feel like I should have been born during that time, that I would have fit in better  as a person. Musically, everything was exploding. They say a musical revolution happens every 30 years, so I suppose we're due for one soon, but I can't see what could possibly top Beatlemania, or even the grunge movement of the 90's, not with what we currently have going on. What will it be, tracks written by AI? I guess that will be revolutionary, but it won't be one I want to have any part of.

You can play on iOS but allocating elemental points is harder. It's difficult to get VO to click the allocate button. There is no real story. You just catch eliyons, feed and play with them, battle with them and that's it. I don't know if some kind of goal system is planned or not. Probably depends on the success of the kickstarter campaign, which will likely fail since it ends March 7th and only has 830 dollars pledged out of 14000.

Given how slow advancement is and how many hundreds of combat messages there are, I don't see one happening any time soon either. Not to mention the fact that you can have up to a dozen combat messages in one round depending on your spam filter. If combat is slow for you you probably don't have enough dex to do the higher level content. If anyone would like to see some of what's possible, look up Karnath, Fael, Nightblade or Gamling in the hall of heroes. Only one of these is my character.

Re: A fiew questions about raspberry pi

The Raspberry Pi is truly an amazing little computer, and people have done some really good stuff with it. I have one, and it's great!first,  What os can blind people use with this computer? The main operating system that powers the Raspberry Pi is Raspbian. You could get Orca running on it (don't know how well it works though, but I hear conflicting reports that speech crackles and stutters, but I could very well be wrong). In the end, it all depends on what you want to do with the Pi.second, can i install os without help of sited people? The Raspberry Pi's form of storage is a micro SD card, so you'd essentially flash a SD card image with any program you like (the most famous programs I know of for flashing SD cards are Win32DiskImager and Etcher on Windows). As for the initial setup, most of the time you won't get accessibility out of the box, so you will need sighted assistance.and third, what speakers do i need for raspberry pi, eg with usb connection, 3.5mm jak, or raspbery pi have bluetooth and i can connect my bluetooth speaker? To answer that question, if you're going to connect the Pi to an HDMI monitor you won't need speakers since the HDMI signal outputs both audio and video. However, since we're talking about external speakers, you can use the onboard 3.5mm audio jack for that, as I don't think USB audio will work, but I'd be surprised if it did. As for Bluetooth, if you are using a Raspberry Pi 3, it has onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. You could connect your speakers, but since I don't use Bluetooth speakers with what I'm using my Pi for, I'm not sure if they will work.
