Hello.The choice of programming language - the problem of the individual. Someone should just decide on the area of activity, and this is an obvious choice. And someone like me, undecided, looking for a versatile option. And don't find ...Today I'm writing here with the hope that you give me really good advice on choosing the first programming language. And no, I'm not talking about completely the first programming language, as I touched many. We are talking about choosing a first programming language, which I'll use in real projects.Of course, before I write here, I conducted my own research. Here I will make them, so you can give an answer on the basis of this.The main objective is:Find the programming language for use in real projects and work.I mean, I need a language with which I will work with the comfort that is able to develop real projects, and with which, will be able to find a job.My research is divided into 2 parts. Interests and opportunities.interestsI itself is a versatile personality and programming too.I'm interested in:Developing applications for Windows, Linux and Android;Backend development of Web applications;Artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics.It should be emphasized that I'm not interesting development from scratch, and the possibility of using ready-made tools.Options on interests not so much.Languages that I can use for Windows, and for Linux, and Android - C++/C#/Java/JS;Languages that I can use for developing web applications (Backend) - PHP/C#/Java/JS/Python/Ruby (took only popular in this);Artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics - C++/Java/Python.As a result, the list of the programming languages: C++, C#, Java, JS, PHP, Python, Ruby.Discard excess.C++. Couldn't you go grab the source code and copmile it yourself that way? IF you're comfortable following build instructions, you can build it like you normally would, not from an unpacked apk.

Its a bit unfair to bash Droid accessibility.. The thing that separates droid from IOS is android's simplicity. There is just too much things to remember. I have my iPhone for a week now, and I told my mom, I want a Samsung again. And don't compare VA to TB. Talkback, at least when i used it, is a trillion kilomeetres behind Voice Assistant. There are pros and cons to each OS, but as said previously, its your preference, and what you want to do with your phone. If you want to brows through the internet, get an Apple. You want a more all round phone, get an Android. We will have to wait until Hong Ming OS comes out to see how accessibility is over there. I may just get one of those.

what do you want to do?Here are the solid options:github.com allows you to make a free static site and store code files.Google Cloud has a free hosting level.pythonanywhere.com allows you to have one python server.Heroku has a free level.Google sites is free and accessible, but only allows you to use their template.wordpress.com gives you a free wordpress site.AWS is pennies if you are just testing stuff, otherwise it's $6 a month.I use A2 hosting which is also around $3 a month for pretty much any small site.Mega gives 50 GB of free storage.Google Drive gives 15 GB of free storage.Github allows releases to be unlimited in size, although each file needs to be less than 2 GB.Let me know what you're trying to do and I can probably figure out a solution, but Github is really amazing.

Hi.I have a suggestion, although this might be quite the big one, but I would love to see something like that implemented.I was thinking about custom missions and maps.What I would love to see is the ability for players to write their own missions with a description and create their own maps, maybe with a map creator tool or by writing map files.The player also could create custom objects which include stats like name, number of hitpoints, movable yes or no, offensive and defensive capabilitys like guns, missiles or missile interceptors.The names of the custom objects could be spoken by sapi or the screen reader in the list of targets for example.I know that this might be a big undertaking, but I would love to be able to send players on own created missions and possibly create a storie line consisting of multiple missions.Greetings Moritz.

hello. So i remember having a swamp key config, i think it was from defender but i am not sure. It only required the keyboard, and that is what i am looking for except for aiming. I enjoy using the mouse but i feel like having to have one hand way out to  the right, at least until i have a laptop, is not how i wish to play the game. Does anyone have a key config that only uses the keyboard? If you do please put it here, and thanks in advance.

There I go running my mouth again, so I’m going to quickly follow that up with another post stating that I don’t play very many games anymore, so I’m just speaking the first thing that comes to my mind. I don’t bother to do research on anything, because I honestly don’t think it’s too big of a deal. All I’ve been hearing was the word clone being tossed everywhere in the short amount of time that I’m  actually able to go on the forum and look at what’s going on, so I’m making assumptions based off of what I’ve read. Also, someone please correct me if I’m wrong about scrolling battles pro. I do think it was cloned by somebody at one point.

I made the suggestion to Mason along time ago to make ultra power a side scroller. Now whether he had that idea for a long time and was waiting for somebody to mention it, or I gave him the idea doesn’t really matter. Either way, I kind of regret making the suggestion now because everybody and their mother is making side scrolling multiplayer shooters, and it’s quickly getting old.   I would have to say constant battle is the first example of a side scrolling shooter that did have a very unique concept after ultra power was made, however, I can’t hardly play that game because I get killed by something every five seconds. I thought it was a bomb, but there were no bombs around that spot and nobody around to put them there. Either way, the game was pretty much unplayable for me. I couldn’t even go out of pacifist mode to start attacking people. After that I suppose was scrolling battles your world, but that had its fair share of bugs and glitches. So many, in fact, that it would make your head spin.  I wish we could go back to having 3-D multiplayer first person shooters, but as long as source code for ultra power or scrolling battles pro keeps getting stolen, (not sure if scrolling battles pro was stolen or not), We’re not going to have anymore of those games and it’s all going to be carbon copies of those two games. If this is the case, it looks like audio games are going to have a very bleak future.

It took me repeatedly being called out for bullshit I said way back when on The Zone BBS for it to sink in that, hey, maybe I shouldn't be so defensive and impulsive. It's true that that site was generally a cesspool, and that being vulnerable there was a grave mistake, but it taught me to grow a thicker skin, if nothing else. More importantly, I learned that just because you have an opinion about something, or an emotion, that doesn't mean the whole world needs to know about it. I think the majority of folks on social media today could do with this sort of reality check. Nobody needs to know the last time you took a shit, or the 50 places you checked into today. Seriously, why is that a thing?

It seems like a strange way to get a project noticed, particularly if it's as strong of a contender against Talkback as people are saying. Since most people associate Telegram with seedy or secretive operations, much as they might the dark web, I don't understand why the devs don't want to promote it, even if it is a rough beta at this point. I wouldn't feel comfortable giving my payment details to some random person on one of these groups, and that goes for any social media, whether it's Facebook, WhatsApp, or what have you.

I just submit a new build:Version 1.1.9a- Changed the scratch sound for holds to be a bit nicer.- Turned on visuals for notes in Audio Cues 2 mode.- Enabled saving scores and times to the Steam leaderboards in Audio Cues 2 mode.- Fixed a bug where the health bar was not audible in arcade score mode.- Added a zero-beat offset option for Audible Cues 2 mode.- Added a sound when steering turns off when boosting ends.- Made the help narration during the game a bit more terse (F1 or right stick click).- Do not award objectives to do with holds when holds are disabled.- Fixed a bug where story screen would reappear when playing a mission on a different difficulty.

Some are set in their ways yeah.  but also  I think it's done  to give a wide range of things for people to do. eventually you can at rank 900 go exploring in deep space  where you find nebula belts planetoid belts.rank, 850...  you can get access to moon gear and moon haul to planets.but if you want to do something  lower rank  like star studying which actually caps at 750  then you can.  I did it all the way up to 1100 and still do  interspersed with other projects.I think I've been hovering around rank 1290 for, a few months now since I've been involved in various things  but it's not all about the grind for me.and now to fight the urge to end this post with a single period  that just says you play cr too much when.  hmm may start that in ooc chatrooms for a lark just because

Well... the OCR was working, but now it's not for some reason. OCR isn't manual like with NVDA, it does it automatically. As for comparing it to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I would say it's a lot simpler. Simpler to control, not as detailed sound design (item sounds were taken from Mario Kart 7, not 8), but other than that, there's not much difference. Well, except for microtransactions.

Um, My post was detailed and provided my opinions on things. I said only that it's not the right time based on my experience. Think about it, Android 10 brought nothing new for blind users, and compared to iOS 13, that's a huge mistake on Google's part. The last talkback update came way before Android Q was released. The fact that Android is more open is a fact. I do hope you have fun with Droid though, as a system I prefer it way more than iOS, sadly the accessibility is just not there yet, and if Google keeps going the way they currently are it wont ever be. Another thing I forgot to mention is the braille screen input feature, it makes typing so much easier, on Android there are some 3rd party apps, all of which requiring you to suspend TB/VA to use them and turn them back on once you are done typing, which can quickly become annoying. Commentary has a fix for this though, but I have not used this myself since it came right as I switched so can't comment on how well it works. Regardless of that, if one thing is certain, you wont have the ability to switch between braille and standard keyboard with one gesture, which is extremely convenient if you need to type some rarely used simbol in braille and have no idea how it's written.

I've talked with you IC and OOC, Furrath, (I'm Kira Calahan there)but I disagree.I don't feel like rank 1000+ should get rewarded for gas/plasma harvesting when there's activities meant for their rank range. Take me for example, I am, as said, rank 797 or thereabouts, I forgot exactly whereso tell me why exactly I should be doing one activity that gives good points and cash? Here's my issue with thatIt's boring. It's boring when I have to either slog through sectors to find nebula, or hope a wormhole takes me to a nebula remnant, or ask for a ride to one. I don't think people aboe a certain rank, and yeah, I'm including myself in this, should get points for higher levels. Here's my idea. Give those activities a levdel cap. Give them a max cash value, and once you're past the cap, you only get the max cash, no points.Also, yeah, the solo activities need too be a thing.I do have my factory going between my post about it and this one, but I feel like I need to get to a certain rank to enjoy the game. I'm not going to name names, but I had a very honest and enlightening OOC discussion with a certain person, who was helping out quite a lot and was giving himts on what to do. I do think a lot of the issue is certain players are set in their ways. Personally, if I was a host I'd implement a change to keep playrs around their activity range. Like if Dark wanted help with hand mining and I showed him what to do, that's a level 10 activity. I wouldn't expect any reward for it.So. How exactly do the level caps work, exactly, is it how I've described?EDIT: I've been told by quite a few people to stick with plasma till 1000. Problem is I also got told the more I rank up, the less the rewards are for said plasma.

@#459I think I'm not able to hear the other racer when I overtake it near the middle/end of the mission because I consistently get a similar score when I play with and without holds so I should be able to hear it around the same area. But I can only hear my self moving past it when holds are off. Also, the taking damage bug sometimes happens when I restart several times but it's not super consistent. Thanks.

I feel that it's a mix both IOS and Droid offer different things and it depends on what you want. Droid now has more than 1 screen reader and more than 1 phone company where as Apple only has Voiceover and you're stuck with the iPhone. Siri isn't getting any smarter and the Google Assistant will soon be able to wait on hold for you. For me I'm tired of Apple and I want something new. I want to learn a new device and I'm willing to put the time in to do so. I also feel like that's an overused excuse that's it's not the right time. This phone isn't the 1 you want wait for the next one or don't switch now the operating system is buggy. The right time to switch is up to the person making the switch. Doesn't matter if it's to the next iPhone or from Droid to Apple or Apple to Droid. The great thing is that we have the option to switch if we want. I think that instead of saying that it's not the right time to switch, or don't switch your making a mistake the more helpful thing would be to point out the differences. Point out what worked for you and what didn't. To use another example, just because say runts are the most accessible candy because you can feel the shape of the candy doesn't mean that some people don't still want starburst.

Alright.  I really should go back and slog through all 670 posts before this but,after trying this game way way back on page 1, grumbling at it  and then going back  for almost a year now.  I have to say  I fell in love.I've seen cr through the past year of changes and I do try to  help people out where ever I canso a few things, Factories, Think about them as you're basically building your own station, or in my case a man-made village complete with holograms and a village look.the newbie activities,It's all about what you want to do.  mix up hand mining, trash ore extraction.  rank 5 it's trash collection. volcano harvesting at 15.  yes the activities do space out  at higher ranks  star studying becomes a lot easier with the purchace of a donater item though it's doible without.some people and I'm starting to see this that even rank 1000  harvesting gas,  specifically bioplasma gives good cash and points.finally  the community on this game is far far better than the other 2 space muds I've played by far.If anyone needs or wants help grab an ooc link with me  as either Firath silvery white scale Kuro, Lance collins.  I have a ryuchi, Keyra luminous pink designation who's going throw the newbie activities herself since they've been modified and tweeked.and for the record yesI did come down hard on cr way back on page 1.  3 years ago and I do deeply deeply regret that  I was young and stupid back then.I will now go back through a pile of 600 posts.and I will now slam my head into the nearest desk.Keep up the good work nate!

Hmmm, not read the raven's shadow series, though I admit urban fantasy is less my thing. I only got into October Daye because my lady read one book, which turned out to be book 8, thought they were really good and wanted to read the hole series. We wound up reading them together as a sort of cooperative project, though of course some books are better than others. Each book is  indeed named for a shake spear quotation, and there are some Shakespearean nods in the text, for example one major character is called Tybalt, the  Faerie King is Oberon and one of the two faerie queens is Titania.however, I don't think there's any major underlying significance other than that McGuire likes her shake spear and wants to share it with others. She always gives the quotation that the title comes from as an epigraph to the book, which is nice to know since I confess while I have seen a few plays and wouldn't pass up the chance to see another (at least of the tragedies), I'm not exactly a Shakespeare buff myself, indeed my lady knows her Shakespeare much better than I do.

Not t nearly an hour, unless there's problems, which should really be communicated.EDIT: Okay, remembered the activities, I got quie a few that suggest no max rank, but I'm rank 797, why would I go volcano harvest, why would I do rank 15 activities? More to the pointt, a klot of the higher rank activities I can do solo don't give point rewards (building deliveries for example or planetoid chunks or the celestial splitting). There needs to be a rebalance of the activities. If an activities state they got no max level cap, I expect to get good rewards. Not for them to give out less and less reward, especially when that one activity is the only one I can do consistently, because players aren't willing to group up for activities that are suggested for my rank range. I've tried asking IC, I've tried OOCly to get groups together, I've tried private comms both IC and OOC. Nobody wants to group up any. And it's not just me with this. Everyone's off doing their own thing. So what's the point of the group activities?Before anyone says oh, just farm plasma over and over and over. I could, but I've noticed the rewards for that getting less and les and less the more I do it, and, there isn't (that I've noticed anyhow, correct me if I am wrong), a good reliable solo activity I can do consistently for points. I can make a lot of cash easily, that's not the issue. Points and ranking up are the isssue.

Ok, slow down. What exactly are you trying to do with one? If you're trying to change the assets, such is with Talkback's sounds, ten fine, it's open source anyway. If you're trying to literally decompile to view source code of a closed source app, then kindly take a step back as that would definitely go against eula's. Typically, you are not manipulating apk files specifically unless you're a developer, and I don't assume you have Eclipse or Android Studio, nor the ADB tools yet.

So... Mario Kart Tour is sort of playable

This morning, out of curiosity, even though I figured that it wouldn't be playable, I decided to test Mario Kart Tour on iOs. Upon opening the app, I came to some conclusions.1. I don't think it's made in Unity, as with Fire Emblem Heroes, mostly because there isn't an annoying text field that gets in the way.2. Ocr on iOs actually reads most of the text. Using a Braille display, I was able to read the text, then sort of guess where the buttons were.3. Gestures are passed through the app, so VO can still be turned on while playing it. And 4...Assists are normal. I have won a race once, but basically the app steers you (not that well, mind you, you need to drift), and there are sounds for going up or down a place, so you can sort of tell where you are in the rankings. Haven't tried this on Android, but I am pleasantly surprised by this.

In fighting games there's basic terminology you need to know. For example: If you set your controller like a: LP, B: mp, RB: hp, X: lk, Y: mk: mk, RT: HK. You need to trnslate everything including DP (dragon punch) motion etc.

Game Man, you reported a bug about not being able to hear the rival in the Traitor mission.  I can't reproduce this.. Is it because the rival starts way ahead of you and you?  It isn't normally audible at the very start of the mission.Also I haven't seen any problem with taking damage while restarting the mission.

Sadly, it's not a great time to switch to Android. Samsung is doing some things, but not enough. Voice assistant came out with Galaxy S6, Galaxy Talkback back then which was for me a better name, but if that was the only problem I'd be happy. Ever since then, VA received very minor updates, the only big one adding keyboard shortcuts, the rest was pretty much adding features from Talkback. Even if samsung does something amazing with it, it just wont come close to the productivity iOS offers, language switching being just one example. Ever since switching to iOS, I never want to go back to the design where in an app let's say you have a list of items, and as you swipe through them you also have to swipe through possible actions for that item for example like, dislike, comment and so on on FB when all of these can just be custom actions and you access them when you need to. There is of course stuff Android does better. I really don't like how Apple does explore by touch for example, where if you are trying to find a small item on the screen, as soon as your finger moves out of it's reach, even if nothing else is there VO wont announce the item. If there are 2 things Android does better, it's explore by touch and recently, from Android 8 and up, accessibility volume. I wish VO had a separate volume. Overall though, many apps, including the ones from Google work way better on iOS with a screen reader. Want an example? In the Youtube app, when an add is displayed, the iOS app nicely gives you feedback when the skip add button becomes available, which Android app does not. Of course, they apply the same, awesome principle with custom actions, alright maybe even Youtube is not the best example of that since they over do it at places, but it still works very nicely. The last thing I'll mention is TalkBack's general lag. Now I have been told this is better on Pixel devices, but have never used those. If you browse the web a lot, access large lists, you will notice that VO is much more responsive than TB. Commentary, on the other hand has very good performance, but that too lacks in some areas, however if that screen reader continues improving it can become a very solid replacement. All this comes from an Android fan for more than 5 years, but I don't regret trying iOS out, mostly for performance and productivity.

This is because we are going to role back to a previous, more stable, version of the server which has less features but is more enjoyable for you, the player. Ah okay. Also the new dlc preview track is probably one of my favourites to play through. The medium track is rated 29 though and I don't think it's that difficult, it's definitely easier than some of the 27 tracks there.

Seriously, get your VTX problems solved instead of switching to Virtualbox. VMWare is simply better on windows. Just see that you get Hyper-V disabled via Windows Features (if it isn't yet), and check your BIOS to disable virtualization.
