Is .999 silver good enough to make new electrodes? It is the best I have found here so far to make larger diameter electrodes. The ones this generator brought are 0.8 mm wire. Too thin in my opinion. .999 is perfectly fine. There is absolutely NO evidence that CS made with . (or .9) is better or more effective or safer than .999 silver. Every silver wire, however thick it is to start, will eventually become as thin a a hair, as it is dissolving into water as you are making CS. We use the granulated form of alfalfa for all of our dogs (in our Orphaned Dog Program). You can purchase granulated (almost powdered) alfalfa from any well-stocked feed store. A forty pound sack should not cost over about $15.00enough to feed 200 large dogs for two years. A dog the size of the one to which you refer should do quite well on one teaspoon daily. Just sprinkle it on his food (if you feed only dry food, add just enough water to cause the alfalfa granules to adhere to the foodstuff) and mix well. We have never had a single dog refuse to consume alfalfa offered in this manner. Our dietary program is not one of the usual types. We employ a variation of Langsley Russell's raw meat (ground chuck and whole chicken quarters) and bones system, with the addition of 1/2 to 1 cup (depending on dog size) of RAW UNPROCESSED cow's milk. We do add various vegetables twice weekly, together with cooked oatmeal served three times w! eekly. We do give the older dogs (over 12 years) vitamin supplementation in powdered form. At present we have 17 dogs of various ages. They are NEVER sick with any of the conventional afflictions so dearly loved by the veterinary profession. We do give brewers yeast as a daily supplementto everyone. True, the daily cost per dog is somewhat greater than a canned ration (dead food), supplemented with a dry kibble type crumbles; but the OVERALL cost per dog is demonstrably less on a total care, yearly basis (no vet bills). We DO feed every dog 1 teaspoon of granulated kelp daily. No additional minerals of any type are fed. There goes the idea that the CS has a negative charge in the bottle and after a while. Ion exchange and relative charges 'in vivo' or in the presence of pathogens is a whole 'nother story. The mainstream is chasing ion exchange like mad men splashing in puddles. We may just be wading in it up to our necks by sheer accident. The hydroxyl anions associated with silver ions can make a very unstable compound out of the silver. Metallic silver can be re-ionized under various conditions. The body and pathogens is a conditional soup where anything that can happen, probably does and no one thing is the limit. Silver in its varied forms and compounds could work one way, then turn around and work backwards another way, then make a right, then left turn to work yet another set of ways in a progression of reactions and interaction with an ever changing electro-chemical environment. [Chemical reactions can be stated as electronic equations and still say the same things ..not that I quite understand or completely comprehend either way of looking at it. ;-)] Very fresh CS is obviously different than CS that's only several hours old. This is easily provable. What that difference means In use By whom Used how and For what isn't so obvious. If there's one thing one could say about CS/EIS ...it's, it never stays the same under sufficiently different conditions. It's dynamic. Which also could explain why for some people used in some applications it's a fantastic miracle and for some it's ho hum. The deeper you go into the soup, the more varied the conditions, change and exchange probabilities . The less that it encounters to change it for better or worse, [ direct surface contact] the more it works predictably. Some swear by one thing and some swear at it. Your set of rules in this game may well not apply to *anyone* else without doing some creative editing and maybe even your set is constantly changing with a progression of conditions that *using* the silver sets into motion. Dosing and methods of use recommendations I've seen often make no sense at alland perhaps they shouldn't. Are prescription meds any different? Re: CSIntestinal flora damaged by CS?
Interestingly a couple of years ago when I got bitten by a tick and got a bulls eye around it, I started taking a LOT of CS for a couple of weeks (a quart or more a day). I didn't get lymes, but I did mess up my intestines. Something wicked set up in there, and no matter how many probiotics I took, they could not evict it. Well as it turns out when we started discussing cyanne a few weeks ago, I started taking two capsules a day. Within 24 hours my intestines were back to normal, and have stayed that way. Apparently cyanne took out the bad flora, and does not bother the good flora at all! Marshall M. G. Devour wrote: Dear Carlos, Back in my earlier days of experimenting with CS, I went for a spell of probably several weeks, taking several mouthfuls per day of fairly concentrated CS (probably 20ppm or more, large particles, dark amber colored). I started to feel tired and weak, with achiness in my large muscle groups. It was starting to be painful to climb stairs, get out of a chair, or otherwise haul myself around. Then somebody on the list happened to describe the symptoms of acute calcium deficiency, which matched what I was experiencing. I asked Rosie to go to the store and buy me a half-gallon of orange juice with added calcium citrate. After drinking a few glasses of that over the course of a day, I was back to normal. It turns out that our intenstinal flora is crucial to absorption of calcium, and I had succeeded in disrupting mine. So it can happen. CS is indiscriminate in the germs it will kill. However, it works best in a liquid environment, and least well in a solid medium. Thus it tends not to disrupt intestinal flora unless you're particularly aggressive with it. Repopulating with probiotics or other aids is a prudent measure to take, as it should greatly speed re-establishment of the healthy colony of friendly bacteria we so depend on. Be well, Mike D. Re: CSHow long does it last?
Think about it. If CS kills virtually every pathogen known to man on contact, how could the CS not be sterile despite you not being sterile? If it doesn't, why bother with it at all? [it does ] The biggest bugaboo is chemical contamination and that can get touchy, but usually isn't too bad. Don't worry unless something weird happens. Then go about eliminating that factor with detective work...or just blow it all out the window. Generally a change of water and a good rinsing does the job. Sometimes you can't control your environment, but you can almost always change it till you don't need to. Electricity and silver don't change much, water does. Look to that first. Some variation in batches is both reasonably unavoidable and acceptable. ode At 04:31 PM 9/14/2006 -0400, you wrote: Hello, Ode, As you know, I am new to CS (3 months), and have learned a lot from you and several other list members. I have read many opinions about CS contamination and durability, and from what I conclude I assume that simply working with reasonable care and cleanliness should be enough to have a good quality home product that should last at least for many months. I have never seen any of you mention the need of working under strict laboratory conditions, with permanent sterilization of containers, electrodes, utensils, etc., use of sterile latex gloves, hermetically closed working environment, etc. Of course very clean hands are not sterile, electrodes that are polished with ScotchBrite tissue and cleaned with an unused paper towel are not sterile, a freshly emptied bottle from last batch is not sterile, dust and lint that are floating in the air and falling all over us and the batch we are making are not sterile either, and as I have understood from you and others we don´t need to be paranoic about many microbes that end up inside our CS batch. As long as we use high quality distilled water (I use steam bi-distilled, de-ionized water employed for laboratory analysis) and have an adequate process that yields a good quality product I understand that we should not worry about it lasting enough. In using CS directly from a bottle my technique is very similar to the one Mike Devour and family use: I hold its neck with my hand, lean my thumb below my lower lip and just pour the liquid inside my mouth without touching the bottle with it. These bottles that are used for direct drinking are washed and boiled before filling them again, but the ones where we keep our stock of CS are just refilled once they are empty. If I am wrong please correct me. I want to learn more every day. Thank you. Average current is 2.04 ma over 1 hour, giving 18.25 ppm total silver released into the water by this process. Giving that you used a starter of 10% CS from a similarly made previous batch we can assume that there was already a maximum of 1.825 ppm worth of silver in the container giving an absolute maximum amount of approximately 20 ppm silver in your finished product. Of course, with losses of silver as seen by the residues on the electrodes, the actual ppm will be somewhat less. However, this gives a valuable gage of what you are making. Mike, I answered your second one before reading your first one! Since I have not yet been able to buy a good quality generator (it would have to come from abroad), I am temporarily using the cheap one I have, and with it and with the help you wonderful people are giving me, I am making a better CS everyday. The voltage in the geneator is regulated to 27.5 V. Using 12% by volume of the previous batch as a starter, the reaction begins at around 0.4 mA. It can not be seen, but the miliamperimeter shows it. After 15 minutes it has risen to around 1.2 mA, and a faint activity can be seen wth the aid of a white light beam and a black background. 15 minutes later the reading is around 1.8 mA and the activity is more noticeable. 15 minutes later, the reading is around 3 mA, and the activity is very evident under the white beam. 15 minutes later, at the end of one hour from the beginning, the reading is around 3.8 mA and the activity is very profuse. At this moment I stop the reaction, and I get a transparent product with only a very slight yellowish hue. It has quite a strong silver flavour, similar to the one I got in my very original cloudy soup with chunks of silver and plenty of silver chloride I was making at the beginning, but much more decent looking. Following Terry´s suggestions, I bent the electrodes in an L form with a wide curve (like a half straightened U), and the lower third part is parallel to the bottom of the glass, and both electrodes parallel to each other. This has given me excellent results, almost no brown sludge, almost no sediment, and the cathode does not build a big bulk of silver-hydrogen minibubbles at the end and many smaller ones all its length, insted there are very numerous tiny fume-like streams being produced that float adrift, with few and small silver-hydrogen balls being produced all along the cathode. Even though it does not seem necessary, every few minuter I stirr with a plastic spoon. The anode remains quite clean, only a mild brownish creamy like covering that mostly comes out when cleaning with a paper towel at the end of the process. The cathode is practically totally clean after wiping it with the paper towel. With the help of a friend of mine, by next week we should have built a generator with a circuit based in a design John McLean very kindly sent me, with current control. We are oly missing one of the components ant it should be here next week. With it I should be able to make a much better product. Re: CSIntestinal flora damaged by CS?
Yes, you have a wonderful diet. The coconut too will give you wonderful healing and pathogen killing factors. Virgin coconut oil is being used to treat all manner of diseases. Have you looked into getting a homeopathic remedy? I would have thought there would be a specific remedy available over the counter as a preparation from the pathogen itself, but a classical homeopath would choose the most similar remedy and one using a computer assisted diagnosis would be able to create one for you from the bioenergetic frequencies associated with the pathogen. (http://www.taracentre.com.au/ - click on Evaluation and Screening - Electro-Dermal screening. There may be something similar near where you live) Rowena http://www.homeopathicmd.com/articles_3.html Ehrlichiosis: Human Monocytic Ehrlichiosis (HME) is caused by the organism Ehrlichia chaffeensis and is transmitted primarily by the lone star tick (Amblyomma americanum), but can also be transmitted by the American dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis). Whereas, the organism that causes Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis (HGE) has not yet been identified, but is known to be carried by the same tick that carries Lyme disease and Babesiosis (Ixodes Scapularis). Symptoms of HME or HGE include an acute febrile illness accompanied by headache, malaise, myalgia, fatigue, vomiting, anemia and rigors. Symptoms may mimic the flu, viral hepatitis, aseptic meningitis, pneumonia and cholecystitis. Less common symptoms may include cough, sore throat, diarrhea, lymphadenopathy, rash, seizures, abdominal pain and confusion. Untreated, mortality rate is up to 5% for HME, and about 7-10% for HGE. Diagnosis of Ehrlichiosis is made by examination of the blood from a peripheral smear. Since the Ehrlichial organisms are obligate intracellular parasites, they cannot be easily detected with the usual methods. Diagnosis currently depends upon direct visualization of the characteristic inclusion bodies in the white blood cells (monocytic or granulocytic) from an infected host.(15,16).. A search through Murphy's Repertory (20) reveals three medicines under Lyme disease: Arsenicum album, Mercurius and Thuja. Expanding the search through the MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks programs, reveals four additional medicines: Carcinosin, Lac caninum, Ledum, and Syphilinum. I also include Tick Bite, Lyme Tick and Borrelia when evaluating cases of known or suspected Lyme disease or prophylaxis. These medicines are only a starting point for consideration. Any homeopathic medicine can be used to effectively treat Lyme disease if it is the simillimum to the individual case... http://www.ozoneuniversity.com/veterinary_use.htmOzone is equally effective against Equine Ehrlichiosis and Potomac Horse Fever, caused by the rickettsial agents Ehrlichia equi and E. risticii respectively, as well as against Equine Encephalomyelitis (EE) including Eastern (EEE), Western (WEE), Venezuelan (VEE) and other togaviral and flaviviral EE, vegetables of all kinds. I also include fermented or germinated beans, lentiles, chick peas, peas and other leguminous seeds, corn, almonds, walnuts, hazel nuts, cashew nuts, sesame seeds, coconut water and pulp, and about 3 times a week fresh raw fish, which I can easily get here in Margarita Island, Venezuela, -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. I expect that as the ppm levels increase the losses also increase. Do you have any idea if the efficiency of the process is linear or non-linear? My feelings are that it is non-linear. Many people here seem to feel that 20 ppm is approaching the maximum concentration level achievable with this process, at least without wasting large amounts of silver. Also, if you are producing any colloids or compounds which are not acting as ions which would be measurable with the conduction type testers, you would not measure them unless you are using an appropriate measurement technique. Do you end up with any residues? I do get some precipitate at the bottom over time. I think that the production is probably near 100% when the ppm is low, and drops to about 35% at 20 ppm. Since this is a flow through system, instead of a batch system, it is always at the 20 ppm level. I would guess that the efficiency follow a curve something like this: % efficiency = (30 - ppm)/30*100% That would give 100% efficiency at 0 ppm, 0% at 30 ppm and about 33% at 20 ppm. If my math is correct, integrating this equation from 0 ppm to 20 ppm for a batch process gives about 55% efficiency. Does that sound about right? Being extremely chemically active, it's not likely that many, if any, free ions exist after a few hours. What ions get stripped off in vivo and -become- ionically charged -again-..and what that does, is a subject for many guesses. RE: CSSo many stomach complaints
I,too have been on Protonix, Nexium Cymbalta, etc. etc. etc. I refuse to take any more of them. Am trying to use alternative therapies for my problems. Unfortunately, due to the structure of my bowel, I am not having much success in getting rid of my upper right burning pain, or my lower right tightness and burning pain. Think the second may be due to adhesions. Trouble is , I am elderly , and it takes a lot of time to soften up adhesions. At least that is what my chiropractor tells me. My MD is recommending a resection of my bowel. I am going in to talk with a surgeon about this next Friday with my daughter along. My question is, how would he know what part to take out, can't tell ahead of time, it seems. And more adhesions will surely form, same story , second verse, and how do we know that the rest of my bowel will behave any better than the original after the surgery. I'm will ing to explore this to find out what all would be involved for living arrangements, etc. in case the whole thing just shuts down sometime. Things seem to be worsening. I can't use the bentonite clay and psyllium the chiropractor recommends because it just clogs me up worse and quicker and I have to take more enemas. CScoconut oil question
I believe someone (or some someones) on this list use Tropical Traditions virgin coconut oil. I haven't used any of mine for quite some time, and I just noticed my bucket of it has an expiry date of Dec. 3, 2005. Anybody know it if is still safe to consume or cook with? It smells fine, but does have little tiny beads in it, teeny lumps. When rubbed between the fingers, I can feel these little bumpy lumps (smaller than the small decorative multicolor sugar beads used for cake decorating) but as the oil melts from the heat of my fingers, they melt too. I tasted some of the oil and it seems fine, not rancid. I'm just wondering if the little bumpiness means the oil has begun to get moldy or something? I wanted to use some of this oil tomorrow, but am not sure it is safe to use. Of course, I wrote to TT, but probably won't hear from them until next week sometime, so I'm hoping someone here will know. thanks in advance, sol -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CSIntestinal flora damaged by CS?
Hi Mike ...I asked this before and was told that cs did not affect the flora of the intestines...thanks debbie -- Original message -- From: M. G. Devour mdev...@eskimo.com Dear Carlos, Back in my earlier days of experimenting with CS, I went for a spell of probably several weeks, taking several mouthfuls per day of fairly concentrated CS (probably 20ppm or more, large particles, dark amber colored). Hello, I have read many times that CS does not damage our helpful bacteria, but recently there was a comment recommending use of yoghurt or other acidophilous culture in order to correct the damage caused by CS to our fermentative intestinal flora after prolongued use. My Coconut Oil Supreme has the tiny lumps and the jar of expeller pressed Spectrum Natural which I just opened does too. The Spectrum brand has a slightly cooked smell and seems much oilier on the skin. It was the cheaper one of the two choices at Whole Foods,...cost about 1/2 as much as the other brand. Coconut Oil Supreme isn't sold in stores. Coconut oil Supreme states, It is separated directly from fresh coconut milk without the use of fermentation and is never heated. They say the shelf life is 3 years and does not need refrigeration. It's funny, I was reading about coconut oil when your post came in. Hope I don't sound like an ad for Coconut Oil Supreme, but having been disappointed by my rancid (maybe fermented?) flavor of the Virgin Tropical Traditions and now this Spectrum brand, I might not try more brands. However, I have finished my jar of Tropical Traditions Coconut Cream. That stuff is wonderful for a little snack when I need something sweet. Pat __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
