Squad Car Recognition

2020-02-26 Thread Ken Anderson
I received a very unexpected surprise last night when I discovered my 1965
Mayberry Squad car was named one of the "Cars of the Decade" by Old Cars
Weekly Magazine. This magazine is one of the top car collector magazines
in the country. They took a look back at the thousands of cars that they
had featured over the past ten years and selected their favorite cars. One
of the cars selected was owned by Jay Leno, so although my car does not
come close to reaching the quality of Jay's car, I am humbled and proud to
have it included in their recognition.

My favorite is when Opie is being kept at home after school instead of hanging
out at the court house. Aunt Bee has sent him outside with a packet of spinach
seeds and a watering can. Andy drives by and stops to chat briefly with Opie.
When he's about to take off Opie asks for Andy to "give her a blast". It
clutches me so.

"Planting spinach can be very educational. Why you'll see something grow up
before your very eyes."

"But, Aunt Bee, spinach. Couldn't I see something else grow up before my very

Two Chairs No Waiting 380: Barney & the Squad Car
http://imayberry.com/podcasts/2016/06/two-chairs-no-waiting-380-barney-the-squad-car/

I’m always looking for things to tell you related to The Andy Griffith
Show and as part of that I was watching TAGS with my lovely wife Jan
just today and spotting something that I’d never seen before. It was
on the episode “Andy the Matchmaker” and has to do with the Mayberry
squad car being magic. As I looked more, I saw that not only was
there some witchery afoot but the squad car was having some work done
on it.

If you watch the video version, you’ll see what I’m talking about but
if you only listen…don’t feel left out…I’ll have screen shots posted
in the links section for you to be able to see what I found.

Ken Anderson's Squad Car

2016-05-06 Thread Brian Kaufman
Wow!  That is a great picture of Andy, Barney and Opie in Ken's squad car rear
window!  If you haven't gone to Ken's web-site, themayberryguru.com, I
encourage you to do so.  Besides the picture of Andy, Barney, and Opie, there
are many other great pictures to see.  It is obvious that Ken is keeping the
villages around Wisconsin much safer.   However, I'm not sure it was necessary
to give the man in the wheelchair a speeding ticket.  I believe there was a
small upgrade in the road and the man was just trying to get a good start
before he came to the upgrade.  Remember on TAGS when Andy thought
Ken...uhh...I mean Barney shouldn't ticket the truck drivers for speeding
before they got to Turner's Grade?  There was apparently a long-standing
agreement that the truck drivers needed that extra 5MPH to get over Turner's
Grade.  I believe that man in the wheelchair should have appealed his citation
to the Justice of the Peace and argued that he needed that extra speed to get
over the upgrade in the road.

In all seriousness...thank you for what you do Ken.  You're truly an
inspiration to TAGS fans everywhere.

Squad car radio

2015-02-27 Thread Paul Mulik
Janet correctly answered my question, which was concerned with the only time
(to my knowledge) that we ever see the squad car's two-way radio. It happens in
Barney's Replacement, while Barney unhelpfully demonstrates the equipment to
Bob Rogers, saying, You talk in here, and you listen here. That's the
explanation.

Years ago when I was putting my squad car together, I showed that clip to an
old-timer at the local Motorola dealer. He confirmed that it was a Motorola,
but was unable from that very brief clip to identify the exact model (this was
before the days of DVD and Netflix and the like). He even found an old
non-working radio from the era and gave it to me for free. Wasn't that a nice
man?

Squad Car PA System Help

2014-07-04 Thread Ken Anderson
I recently installed a PA system in my squad car, but I am very
disappointed with it. While the various siren sounds are great and are
really loud, the PA part of it has very little volume. It was an
inexpensive unit, and I should have known better than buy a low priced one.
Does anyone know of a good PA vehicle unit that would work good and if you
do would you let me know where I could get one. I bought mine from some

Squad Car Honors

2014-06-07 Thread Ken Anderson
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Altoona Cinder City Days. We
were at their classic car show and also participated in their parade with
our two cars. We were very honored at the car show when the squad car won
the first place trophy in its class. Then we were really honored when of
all the cars at the show our squad car was selected as the People's
Choice trophy winner. Along with the trophy comes the honor of having the
squad car's picture being used for all the publicity for next year's
events. During the parade a newspaper reported walked along with me taking
pictures and asking me questions, so maybe there will be something in the
Sunday paper. Only three things dampened the day. One it rained a bit, two
I had to give myself a ticket for illegal parking, ( see photo at
www.mayberryreflections.com ) and three, we ran out of gas at the end of
the parade. I wasn't anywhere near McNally's shack, so I had to go all the
way home to get gas. That's what I get for taking a short cut to the
parade. Tomorrow we take part in a big parade in a city about 40 miles
from here,

Mayberry Squad Car Nationals ideas

2014-03-19 Thread jgr...@frontier.com
Mayberry Squad Car Nationals ideas

Task One:  Meat Delivery and Cutting

Passenger would get out of squad car and have to pull a child's coaster wagon
full of some weight representing a wagon full of meat.  Let's Say competitor
pullis it 15 feet to the Butcher Shop.  Then at the butcher shop they have to
take a knife and cut up a hot dog..say into 10 pieces (You know anything about
cutting meat?--Do you think they'll ask me that?)  The crowd could re-enact a
famous Peyton Manning commercial by chanting cut that meat  cut that meat
(yapping Dogs optional)

Task Two:  Adventure Sleeping

Passenger arrives at an ironing board with a large night shirt, night cap, and
Blanket on it.  They pick up the Laundry and the ironing board
and walk/run 10 feet to two chairs.  They put the blanket under a leg of each
chair, lay the ironing board between the two chairs.  Put on the night shirt
and cap  (Like Andy when he performed Carter Wakefield Wedding).  Lay down on
the ironing board and cover up with the blanket  (like Barney in the back room
when Andy put the blanket under the legs) and say aout Loud  Snore Snore Snore
Snore..Uncover, take off Night shirt and cap..return all to orginal postion of
ironing board.

Task Three:  Master of Disguises

Passsenger arrives at Disguise Center.   Puts on Hunting Jacket and Cap.  Steps
up on a four-sided platform and freezes like a mannequin, then turn 90 degress,
and repeats until they have posed in all four directions  (prreferably in
different poses).   They take off Hunting Garb and put on a large dress and
pick up Mrs. Mcgruder's mop and make four mopping motions.  Finally take off
the Dress and
(what's a matter haven't you ever seen a man take off a dres before?)   put on
Motor Cycle jacket , Goggles, and Helmet.  They hop on fake motorcycle  (Saw
Horse, Bicycle, moped, whatever)   and Holloer 4 times Citizens Arrest

That would be a special competition!!

Mayberry Squad Car Nationals

2014-03-17 Thread Jeff Koontz
Mayberry in the Midwest is on the calendar for May 17-18th in Danville, IN. I'd
like to crowd source ideas for the Mayberry Squad Car Nationals, which are
being held during the event.

The MSCN is a timed competition between squad car owners to drive an obstacle
course with a passenger who performs various tasks along the course.
Obstacles used in the past include busting up a still, hanging a stop sign,
mailing a lucky letter and operation pickle swap.

A fun obstacle is something
 - the average fan will recognize from a popular episode,
 - isn't too easy to do, but doesn't take too long to complete the task and
keep the action moving,
 - is fairly easy and inexpensive to create 8-10 props for an obstacle.

So stopping to buy a fur for Emmett's anniversary gift wouldn't take long,
but most people may not have seen that color episode to understand why that
would be done and Mayberry Cafe would not want to buy a fur for a prop. I'd
love to see some creative ideas posted on the Digest and try to get some
incorporated into this year's MSCN.

Lots of events are planned this spring (Mayberry Comes to Westminster,
concerts, cast performances), hopefully in your neck of Old Man Kelsey's Woods,
so get out and meet other members of our Mayberry community this year.

Scene with Andy and Barney in squad car

2013-11-07 Thread Janet Anderson
I'm watching Man in the Middle from season five, and I just noticed
something. There's a scene where Barney is picking Andy up in the squad car in
front of Andy's house, and Andy tries to patch things up with Barney over the
argument they had concerning Thelma Lou and Helen. They sit in the squad car
and talk with the doors closed. However, when the camera moves in tighter,
it's apparent that it is shooting through an open door, not through the window
of a closed door. If you look carefully, you can see the inside edges of the
door frame, and on Barney's side, you can even see a little bit of the open
door in the top left corner. So, when the camera is on Barney's side, his door
is open and Andy's is closed, and when it's on Andy's side, his door is open
and Barney's is closed. But, of course, the viewer is supposed to think that
both doors are closed the whole time. It's a very minor thing, but I just
never noticed it before now, and I'm always excited to notice something n
 ew on TAGS.

Squad Car License Plate Number

2013-05-23 Thread Brian Kaufman
Well, I again attempted to order a specialized plate here in Tennessee (Blount
County).  Thanks to Ken Anderson, I realized that the squad car plate number I
ordered last year was not the correct license plate number.  The actual license
plate number used on Andy and Barney's squad car was JL 327.  Unfortunately,
the state did not approve that plate number for my car.  I imagine some other
TAGS fan in my county already has it.  I did get the 327 part of the number,
but I had to use other letters instead of JL.  I picked the first name initial
of each of my children for the letters,  When you think of the family values
that TAGS teaches, I guess using my children's initials was appropriate.

Thanks Ken!

Using The Squad Car

2013-05-22 Thread Marguerite
Remember when Barney complained about Andy using the squad car when not on
official business? He thought he was talking to a college girl? How come he
didn't mention all the times that he and Andy used the squad car on their
dates? If he and Thelma Lou were at the duck pond (why would they want to go
there at night? You can't see the ducks) or he and Juanita at Morelli's
(everybody goes there) would he just leave them and go off on a call or would
he drop them off at home first? I assume that he and Andy, whichever was on
duty, told Sarah where they'd be in case of emergency.

column, and a police radio (just for show). It runs well, and is a real
head turner. It is fun to drive, and see people smile when they watch it go

Squad Car License Plate Number

2013-02-03 Thread Brian Kaufman
Last year I ordered a license plate for my car that I thought contained the

I am certain that I saw those numbers from the squad car license plate on an

the number 327.  Were there a variety of license plate numbers used on the
squad car license plate throughout the seasons of TAGS?  I imagine Ken would be

We had a local deputy resign because he used the squad car for hauling scrap

Squad Car Publicity

2012-05-10 Thread Ken Anderson
Burger King's 2012 Car Show Season kicks off tonight here in Eau Claire.
This morning I picked up the squad car from the shop where they put on all
new exterior door handles and all new door and window weather stripping.
The owner gave me the publicity poster for the Burger King Shows and up on
top was a nice picture of The Mayberry Guru and the squad car. It is so
great to get the publicity so many others can enjoy the car. I created and
had printed humorous violation tickets that I will be putting on cars
during the car show season this year. They are bright yellow and were put
into booklet form so they should add some fun when I am out and about in
uniform.

Hi Ken, Great news on the Squad Car. Keep us posted as to where and when. Maybe
I'll drive up and visit the old girl although it might be like Barney meeting
Thelma Lou and her new husband at the class reunion. It may make me sad but
I could end up with another car that attracts my attention.

About how much does a good squad car cost? In nice shape and running smooth.
Not pucka, pucka, pucka.
I don't want one that needs plugs, points, bearin's, valves, rings, starter
switch, ignition wires, water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, clutch, clutch
bearin's, clutch plates, brake linin', brake drums, radiator hose, and radiator
hose couplin' and a good wash, too. I want one in good running condition.
Any thoughts on this? Just curious. I've always wanted one.

Two Squad Car Courthouse

2011-12-04 Thread Ken Anderson
I am seriously thinking of taking my Squad Car and donating it to the
Mayberry Sheriff's Department. It will be my Christmas gift to Barney. He
has always dreamed of having a two squad car coufthouse. He could put a
sign in the window that says Two Squad Cars - No Delays. And he has the
uniforms to swing it. I would even provide my own prisoners. I am sure
some of my relatives would gladly relocate to Mayberry to get some of Aunt

That had to beeb a sad day to have to put the car in storage. But, think of

As for the badge having 6 points and the inside star 5, it doesn't make it any
less special. One of the last presents i got for daddy was a sheiff's badge.
He just loved it. It reminded him of all the shows we had fun watching.
And then the pistol, in Opie the Birdman, i saw it too, s did we decide

Just heard this morning from a friend (and Mayberry fan) that a friend of his

Squad Car and Bite the Bullet

2011-08-11 Thread Ken Anderson
Seeing I haven't written anything about my squad car for quite a while ( tongue
in cheek, wink wink ) I thought I would give a brief update. I just had all
new shocks and rear springs installed so now it just floats when I drive it. I
also ordered new black carpeting with matching black fabric mats.

Now for some even greater news. I am always looking for new things to add
interest to my car shows, parades, and presentations. I found some very unique
and quite fitting. I found some Bite the Bullet mint candies. They come 45
in a small tin container and they are white mints shaped like pistol bullets.
Now how great is that?
They are a bit pricey so I will distribute them sparingly. Now if I could only
find some candy jail cell keys I would really be in business.

While I was working today our county Sheriff came in and was walking with
another fellow I know. I told the guy that I knew he would get caught
eventually. Sheriff Cramer brought him over to me and said, Should I take him
in or do you want to.?

Mayberry Squad Car Coming to YouTube

2011-07-25 Thread Ken Anderson
I am going to be making a video of my squad car for YouTube and Facebook.
A friend and I took it to our big park this morning where we could tape it
where it would be quiet with no traffic. We found a nice secluded spot in
the park and were just finishing the taping when a city squad car drove by.
I was wearing my uniform so I would be in that when I told about the car. I
had just taken my gun belt off and was getting into the car when the squad
car came back and pulled up behind me. The young officer got out of his car
and said, What are you guys up to? So I proceeded to tell him that we
were making a video of my car for YouTube and my website. He took an
immediate interest in the car and had to go around and check everything out.
He said he figured we weren't doing anything we shouldn't be as I am sure he
has seen the car around. He had to sit in it and open all the doors and was
really amazed as to the size of the car. I think he may have come back to us
when he heard the siren as I demonstrated that for the video. We are going
to do some editing of the tape and maybe reshoot parts of it before I put it
on Youtube.

RE: Squad cars impersanating Mayberry squad car

2010-08-26 Thread Harriet Browder

I have numerous people about the laws regarding driving the car on roadways
with the red light on top being displayed

Some years back right here in St. Petersburg a guy walked into a 7-11 wearing a
baseball cap with the letters LAPD on it and was arrested for impersanating an
officer. All he was doing was buying a soda and candy bar. So I'd be careful
driving a non-official looking vehicle around these parts of the country. How
do the squad cars get away with it at Mayberry Days? I suppose Mt. Airy Police

Squad Car Lights

2010-08-25 Thread Ken Anderson
As some of you know I am purchasing a 1965 Ford Galaxy Mayberry Squad Car
and will be getting it on Saturday. I have numerous people about the laws
regarding driving the car on roadways with the red light on top being
displayed but not activated. I know others out there have replica squad
cars and state laws vary. Here is the official verification that I
received from my inquiry with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

WI Statutes prohibit the display of emergency red and/or blue lights on a
vehicle unless that vehicle is an authorized emergency vehicle as defined
under WI. ss. 340.01. In addition, ss. 347.06(2) prohibits anyone from
operating any vehicle or equipment on a highway or other public roadway that
has displayed thereon any flashing light and only red or amber to the
rear, and white or amber to the front. The question is whether displayed
thereon simply means mounted or does the light actually have to be on.
Under ss. 347.25, it states that only vehicles described elsewhere in the
statutes as authorized emergency vehicles can be equipped with such
lights as you have described and are visible on the photos that you sent.
Therefore, even there mere presence of the light, whether it is turned on or
not, is illegal if you operate the vehicle on a highway in Wisconsin.

I would suggest that the light be covered when the vehicle is operated on a
highway of other public roadway. Thank you for your question.

Lots of luck to you and yours.

Mayberry Squad Car for sale

2009-04-14 Thread Jeff Koontz

I got word through the Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce of squad car for sale, so
I thought I would let the Digest know about it. The description is noted below.
If you are interested, please contact Michael Cockrell in Winnsboro, SC at
cockre...@truvista.net for more information. I've not met him, but he does have
a nice looking car and can email photos to anyone considering a purchase.

--
The car is a 1963 Ford Galaxie (a plain or 300 series Galaxie--instead of the
500 or 500 XL models, which have too much trim for a police car), with four
doors and automatic transmission. It has authentic paint, accurate door decals,
a working siren and working red light, spotlight, and a whip antenna--all
authentic. It also has a 1963 North Carolina JL-327 license plate. Has a new
interior and excellent tires, and it runs well. The heater works, but the
gauges don't. The car has always been kept in a garage. It looks so good that
it's often mistaken for the car actually used on TAGS. I have over $14,000.00
invested; asking $9,500.00.
--

I'll also mention the Mayberry Squad Car Nationals is July 11th in Graysville,
AL. It's a fun day all around!

re: Squad Car in Gatlinburg. TN

2009-03-09 Thread Rusk, Thomas E RET
My bride, Kathy, and I had the opportunity to visit Gatlinburg, TN this past
weekend and made a point to visit the Hollywood Star Cars Museum to check out
the official Mayberry Squad Car.

The squad car is a 1961 Ford (probably a Fairlane although there's no
nomenclature on the body). The owner claims it's one of the original show cars
on loan from Mayberry Enterprises in Mt. Airy, NC. It has brown interior (I
thought the show vehicles had black white interiors. The dash, steering
wheel, etc. are mint green in color with Don Knott's autograph on the glove box
door. It's detailed very well, but I question that it's the original paint as
most of us know the cars in the first four years of the show were flat black
and white.
They have done a good job of replicating the Courthouse front other memorabilia
drawings from TAGS around the car. If you're a car buff, you'll enjoy the
museum as there's cars from Dukes of Hazards, The Beverly Hillbilly's,
Smokie the Bandit, Knight Rider, plus some 35 others.

You can check out the TAGS car and others at:
www.starcarstn.com/collection2.html

Interesting to note I recently purchased a restored 1961 Fairlane replica squad
car that my wife said looks as good, if not better, than the one in Gatlinburg.
I'll let the other owners decide at the SC Rendezvous in July in AL.

re: 1961 Squad Car

2009-01-30 Thread Rusk, Thomas E SFC RET
Not to belabor the point, but in doing some research on Mayberry cars and
checking with some experts it seems most authentic Mayberry cars were
Custom not necessarily Galaxie 500's although there are a lot of replica
Galaxie 500 cars around. The Ford Galaxie was not manufactured until 1962 so
the 1960 '61 TV cars could have actually been Fairlane 500's. In looking
closely at the episode Andy and the Woman Speeder in Season Two, the 1961
vechicle doesn't have any distinguishing body style markings.

Anyway, as long as it's a 4-door Ford 1960-1968 with the proper markings (black
white, sheriffs logos, police light, etc.) it's close enough for most Mayberry
fans.

A Trained Noticer in SC,
Tom Rusk

P.S. I bought the 1961 that was on ebay. It's in excellent shape with only
46,000 miles on it. I'm thrilled! See ya around the bend!

Mayberry Squad Car

2009-01-27 Thread Jeff Koontz
Surfing thru ebay, I saw a nice looking Mayberry Squad Car for sale. I do not
know the owner or anything about the car - just letting Digest members know
about it since the car looks to be in great shape. There are a good number of
WBMUTBB members, including Jan Checkpoint Chickie Newsome that can tell us
how much fun it is to drive one. I can say it is fun just to get to ride in one!

On that note, don't forget about coming to Graysville, AL on July 11th for the
Mayberry Squad Car Nationals. It's a fun time all around!

squad car

2007-12-17 Thread Paul Mulik
For years now I have been looking to buy a Diecast or scale 1/25 model
Mayberry Squad Car.

Hey Gomer,

Not sure what the scale was, but Johnny Lightning produced a Hot
Wheels-size '61 Mayberry squad car a few years back. They're readily
available on eBay, but don't pay more than $10. A trading card was
included in the package in an attempt to get suckers -- uh, I mean
collectors -- to buy several of the same car.

Many years ago, one of the big model car companies (AMT, I think it was)
used to make a kit for 1960s-era fastback Galaxie XL. Some other company, I
forget who, used to sell an add-on kit that you could purchase in addition
to the AMT kit, to make it into a Mayberry squad car. It came with a sedan
body and police equipment, which you added to the chassis and drivetrain
from the AMT kit. I imagine these kits are impossible to find
these days (there were pretty expensive even back then), but you might check
with the hobby shops in your area.

I bought a 1965 Galaxie about 10 years ago to make a squad car. The car has
less than 60,000 miles. It is in really nice shape and runs great. To make a
long story short I never got around to painting it black and white. I really
need the garage space so I think I will sell it. I wanted to let you all
know first in case someone wants a car. I can send pictures and info if you
are interested.

Mayberry Squad Car Nationals Report (Friday Night)

2006-07-28 Thread Allan Newsome
Hey Folks,

Floyd here reporting life from the 6th Annual Mayberry Squad Car
Nationals. The Mayberry patrol cars have been rolling into the Best
Western here in Gardendale, AL this Friday evening getting ready for the
big event to be held on 29 July 2006 in Graysville, AL (there's not a
hotel in Graysville so folks stay here at the Best Western just off the
Interstate).

The squad car drivers and the Mayberry tribute artist all headed over to
Graysville to meet with the Mayor and have diner this evening. What da'
you know...spaghetti. That's rightwe had spaghetti for diner.
Goober almost forgot to tell everybody about the diner or we might have
had to have eaten more than one supper but he'd learned his lesson from
that time with Andy and passed along the right message to everybody.

I hope that some of you folks will be here tomorrow (today as you read
this) and enjoy a good Mayberry time with the gang down in Graysville.

I'll try to give you another report late Saturday night but it might be
Sunday before I'm able to do so.

Everythings okayin Graysville.

Mayberry Squad Car Nationals

2006-07-27 Thread Allan Newsome
Hey Folks Here's some information for you. If you're in the
areadrop by and see us. -- Allan
---

The Sixth Annual Mayberry Squad Car Nationals festival is Saturday in
Graysville, Ala. Keith Thibodeaux (Mayberry's Johnny Paul Jason and
Little Ricky on I Love Lucy) is the very special guest of
honor. David Mayberry Deputy Browning, Allan Floyd Newsome, Kenneth
Otis Junkin, Jamie Opie Sullivan, Jeff Howard Branch, other
assorted Mayberry Tribute artists, and two local bands will be on hand
during the day. Eight or ten replicas of Mayberry squad cars from about
six states are also expected to participate.

Festivities kick off with a parade down Main Street in downtown
Graysville at 10:00 a.m.. The Mayberry Squad Nationals (a timed
obstacle course race of Mayberry squad cars) will immediately follow the
parade, at around 11:00 a.m., at the baseball field behind the
Graysville Community Center, located near the parade's ending point.

Following the Nationals, there will be a lunch break with plenty of
food vendors on site. Just in time to beat the heat, festivities will
move indoors for the ticketed portion of the day, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
at the air-conditioned Community Center for Mayberry trivia, look-alike,
and theme-song whistling contests, plus music and a question-and-answer
session with Keith Thibodeaux.

At 5:00 p.m. a catered barbecue dinner will be served at the
Community Center. It will be followed at 6:00 p.m. by the Mayberry
Tip-Top Talent Show featuring comedy sketches and music.

The parade and Mayberry Squad Car Nationals are free. Admission to
the afternoon show, dinner, and evening shows is covered by a single $20
ticket per person.
   Y'all come!

Where'd That Squad Car Come From?

2006-05-29 Thread Cam
In the opening scene of “The Clubmen”, Roger Courtney drops Andy off right
in front of the courthouse (I mean right smack dab in front of the
courthouse). Andy goes inside, plays a prank on Barney, then tells Barney
all about the invitation to the Esquire Club. Then, when Andy and Barney
come back out of the courthouse, on their way to the barber shop, I want you
to know that the squad car is parked right smack dab in front of the
courthouse. How’d it get there? Makes ya thank

Squad car sighting!

2006-04-29 Thread Teresa Horstman
Everyone,

I live in Madison County, Ohio, and was on my way to London (the county seat)
to get my drivers' license renewed this morning. While passing a local
retirement community, my darling person told me to pull over...and there, in
the parking lot, was a gen-u-ine replica squad car, with the Mayberry logo on
the side and a sign on the back that said Mt. Pilot Ford. No one was around,
but we gave it a good once-over, and it looked terrific. And London, Ohio isn't
too far from being Mayberry, so it really fit in well here. To whoever owns
it...great job!

63 squad car for sale

2006-02-20 Thread Phil Fox
To all my Mayberry friends out there,
I am sorry to report that financial situations beyond my control
have forced the parting of ways for my 63 squad car and I.
This is for those who may not have seen my earlier post on this.
It has been signed by 12 cast members and is a total blast to cruise
around in.
I have pics of them signing it to verify their authenticity.
Several even rode around in it.
It is on the pricey side. In the $20Ks range.
It is a fine automobile, it belonged to my late husband Bernard, and
I only drove it to market and to
church on sundays. H I mean. it 's fun to drive (I got carried
away there for a moment)
You too can now stroll through town like the Sheriff Deputy used to.
I live in the Charlotte area of NC
