Yeah, Tom is a great guy and has thrown himself into the whole Modular Synth thing with the same gusto and intelligence as he does most other things He’s working on some more videos for us at Signal Sounds (I run a synth store specialising in modular gear) so keep your eyes on his YouTube channel

They were good but not life-changing- the Slam tent wasn't exactly
the most sympathetic of venues- the first 20 mins of UR tracks went
down like 2 lead balloons (Final Frontier, Numers cover etc) with the
kids. The next 40 mins went a little better as the Los Harmanos
That one was a bit unfortunate- there were a few problems internally
with the band which have (hopefully) all been ironed out now.

I discussed this issue with the head of the MCPS in Scotland a year
or so ago- the basic deal is that they treat audio clips on websites
to be essentially a fund raising exercise, ie you are trying to sell
something (duh!) in the same way a radio station is trying to sell
something
I kind of championed his sound at the time as it straddled two or
three different areas of electronic music- Basic Channel type dubby
Techno, deep vocal House and clicky/glitchy stuff- to be honest now I
can't actually stand to listen to any more than two or three of the
tracks produced at
It's the mighty DJ Pierre- Atom Bomb on the Uk's Guerilla records
from the early 90's- still kicks like a mule!
