both very good, although I think the magnificent dance has been overplayed
by self-consciensly 'eclectic' DJs who all seemed to discover it when
westway to the world was released. If you're only going to buy one I'd sod
both of these and hunt for mustapha dance (the flip of rock the casbah)
it's been shut for over 2 months now with the last night being the british
murder boys tour end of july with surgeon + regis live. the venue's been
sold and is being converted to a restaurant apparently.

Stinky's is pretty damned amazing. It's spread over three floors, the middle
floor having a balcony which overlooks the bottom, and the top one having a
glass floor so that you can stand on the top floor and look between your
feet down to the bottom. Don't take too many drugs and do this (or
whatever you do, don't forget Parade - much underrated, despite sounding a
little less sure of itself than his other albums and being the accompaniment
to a piss-poor film, for me it's still prince's most adventurous work - and

I reckon we all know you like Dave Clarke by now, There are a number of
people on this list who think he's dull and overrated... difference of
opinion, OK?
Personally I've seen him more times than I care to remember, and he's played
well on maybe two occasions, tops. The last time I
really any discussion of this kind has to touch on Coldcut's seventy
minutes of madness JDJ mix.
as far as I know, the mix is totally artificial but is overdubbed with all
sorts of things. and the album is one of the best I own. Purely because they
didn't treat it like a normal mix.
I sure wish the folks at 313 hadn't felt the need to tinker with it though!

UR. It's the double pack with Suburban Knight, i think it was UR36 but i'm
