Some excellent compilations to start with are the two "Jumpin'" compilations
on Harmless - tons of classics like "Keep On Jumpin'", "Is It All Over My

just for all you hardcore Disco D fans out there, i saw a Flux/Disco D cd
floating around at my local record store. not sure what label it is on, and

it's Carson's Books in Vancouver-- they largely sell used rock and jazz
records, but have a soul/funk section, with a bunch of disco records
