They were good but not life-changing- the Slam tent wasn't exactly
the most sympathetic of venues- the first 20 mins of UR tracks went
down like 2 lead balloons (Final Frontier, Numers cover etc) with the
kids. The next 40 mins went a little better as the Los Harmanos

Could that be the reason people are not responding positively?

it's a little rich when they refuse to play for underground promoters

Ouch and you have a point Rob, UR have gone through

We (outlet) tried to booked them and got a no! But then for them to play
the cattle market as LH a year latter is wack. So they have had other
options.
And its a full circle, coz we're now doing a UR party, but again were
told we could not have G2G or Time

That one was a bit unfortunate- there were a few problems internally
with the band which have (hopefully) all been ironed out now.

Hey, at least they showed up, unlike their Mutek appearance.
They also need to make money- it costs a fair bit to fly 6 people

they need a pretty big stage for the current band- I take your point
about playing at clubs like Fabric- there were many people up here

Eh, but the people who are into a band format (in the US) are, most likely,
not going to be into this music.
There are no choruses, refrains,
I don't want those people liking their music - I like my niche small and
undergound!

Hi friends,
(sorry but i couldnt think of a short meaningful subject)
Did anyone go to the Berlin Underground party with Daniel Bell on
The Synch festival in Greece?
I went last year with 2 friends and loved it with only the odd reservation.
Would really have liked to have gone again this time (the line-up looked
good) but I'm always repeating myself in my travels [ Berlin, Brazil - I
wonder why ;-) ] plus I'm not sure I'd have
