arrecond processes aren't executing now in my server group. I've read that
CMDB 2.1 p6 fixes this issue (SW00302593).

I agree, I have tried to patch over a messed up install of CMDB and
spent most of a month solid on the phone with BMC to manually correct
the install. Now I want to upgrade to 7.6 and I am in the same boat
again because the manual install must not have been completed correctly

The only remedy architecture that can connect to an SQL server is a Windows
Remedy serverso while 7.5 has no issues connecting to 2008, a Solaris
Remedy doesn't have that ability.

This won't work. There is no AR server for Solaris that will connect MS SQL.
If you want to use this db you'll have to use a Windows AR server. If you
stick with the Solaris AR server your db choices are Oracle, DB2, Informix or
