my Transporter must have been produced in that mythical period in
between Slim Devices and Logitech transition..it's main logo just
says Transporter...rarity?.
it's sounding as good as the day it arrived from Ripcaster UK about 18

changing my dac cured that.
The whole using spdif/aes-ebu will massively degrade the system is
rubbish..there are 1000's of different systems that do things this way
and that sound wonderful.

i use a product called Black Ravioli.that's what it looks like!.
it was developed by an acoustician for sound control in underwater
situations
i.e.submarines.
it's very effective and i have a set under my Transporter and my
preamp.
Loud and Clear in Glasgow can supply.

BPA,have a look at the TIVOLI Audio mk1 by Henry Kloss.
i have one here as my bedside radio and can thoroughly recommend it.
you could connect a SB3 to the input on the rear and utilise the superb
wee built in speaker of the Tivoli.
just my tuppence worth!.
