Well.. I've never seen a racing game on the computer match the speed of say Sega GT 2002 on the Xbox. Need for Speed High Stakes is MUCH faster on the Xbox and PS2 than on the computer..and that's a 1.2Ghz Athlon with a Nvidia 4600 graphics card. Pretty fast stuff. Perhaps with the Ati Radeon 970

PS2 does have more games as it has been on the market longer and can still play all the old PS1 games. XBox is still the baby and requires different programming so some game development companies are still green when it comes to creating games. Some games are exclusive to certian systems as well.
