I installed seats from a late model firebird in my elky. The biggest problem is
the floor pan. On our cars, the floor pan is very uneven, I had to make 3 different
height spacers to get them level. After that, you need to remember to reinforce the
floor pan so the mount bolts don't pull
I installed Corbeau seats. They come with bases that
bolt in the stock position. They look good but are pretty hard. I

I just finished putting my exhaust manifolds back on
my 66, I had to take the bolt out of the motor mount
on the drivers side and take my floor jack with a
small piece of 2x4 and raise the engine up on the
drivers side a little bit, I also had to do that to
get drivers side off.

I had a box of parts from a friend yesterday and received a rear window
defogger swith (thanks Dave for sending the e-bay link).
I could really need some pictures of how to mount the switch and the
defogger itself.

I put standard rubber bushings in the
front. In the rear, I'm installing new upper and lower trailing arms made by
Edelbrock. They have polyurethane bushings. All the bushings h

it's caused by worn, original bushings on all the trailing arms. The
vibration starts around 60 MPH. It feel strange and I think it's the rear

I am having the same problem with my 1969
chevelle right now also. I changed the transmission but that wasn't it so
NEXT. I found this site for setting up hot rods it mentions 3-degrees below for tran. and
3-degrees above for rear end.

exactly the same problem with my '71 Malibu, and have gone through most of the
same steps, although I haven't done the pinion flange yet. I know this is needed
since my current one is worn and won't hold the u-joint tight. How do I go about
ordering the correct pinion flange?
