Hi All,
Just a thought on Whether Tcp/Ip can run over RS232

Can't see why not. You could get TCP/IP running over a coat hanger if you
tried enough. Seriously, a terminal server can enable PCs to connect via
RS-232 to a TCP/IP network.
requires CCO login:

the answer is no, a 4000 can have a max 4MB flash, 16MD DRAM.

You have multiple options in radius for restricting your users.
If you, in Unix, cannot prevent double --- User Authentication then
double Line Authorization should be prevented.
- one source ip per user account after dial-in
- caller id per source phone per user (telco support)
Kind of off topic, but I have to share a comment made by a respected
ISP architect at NANOG yesterday, with reference to 2547:
"If this is the answer, it must have been a really stupid question."
I would look simply at MPLS. Whether the packet contents are

I just now deleted one of two IOS files on a 2611 running 12.0(5). When

Hi All,
SLIP
This runs IP on serial interfaces. PPP over modems runs via serial interfaces as do a
lot of other things. Slip will do fine as I understand it between two devices.
