we have a situation where the users and the nt servers are on different

them. Everything seems to work perfectly fine. The user gets an IP address

Hi All,
I have a slight dilemma to which I cannot seem to find a definitive

Is it necessary to terminate all the circuits into one router to do
"per-packet" load balancing.

Yes you can load balance using static routes. Lets take for example a router
that has
1 ethernet int (1.1.1.1) --> to Local LAN
1 serial int (2.2.2.2) --> to WEB
1 serial int (3.3.3.3) --> to WEB
in the above scenario if u want to load balance across both the serial
links, type in the
setup your traffic will be load balanced and both subnets
will be in use...
Hope that helps,

Swapnil,
Of course you can. You can use it in so many different ways:
1) use PPP multilink to combine all the B chanells across both the ISDN
links, which will give u a total of 256k
2) use dialer profiles and make each B chanell dial a different location
which will give each site a total

Hello All,
I am setting up a simple point to point ISDN BRI connection. It
works like a charm, but for the life of me, I cannot get the secondary B

If its full duplex you will get 2Mbs of transmit bandwith & 2Mbs of

transmit and receive.

What "dialer load-threshold" does is, define the load level that must be
exceeded on the first ISDN B channel before the router attempts to bring up
