You can do L2TP over IPSEC tunneling. In fact, this is the method

Yes, routers are capable of QoS into a VPN. The Concentrator or PIX are

Hi All,
I am in a situation where I need to VPN-tunnel into a private network using
IPSec, and again use another VPN Gateway (located in the private network) to
VPN-tunnel into a second private network, again using IPSec. In effect, I
have to use two different VPN-clients on my PC, and logically
this second tunnel will be
formed. Can you clarify with an ascii art?

Hey
I have a big problem with Cisco router and Allied Telesyn routers.
First of all I want to make VPN conenction between Cisco (2611) and
Allied(AR320S).
On the Allied site there is an example, but it does work :(.
First of all i have used ISAKMP on both routers (cisco and allied).
On debuggind
Sundarum,
I assume by "VPN" you mean IPSec. IPSec is supported
beginning in 12.0 on the 2500 platform, but only for 56 bit DES. As
far as I know, 3DES, or Triple DES, is not supported on the 2500
platform. This is probably due to the performance limitations of the
2500.
, because it doesn't have the appropriate hardware
module that is needed to do encryption. The VPN platforms are the
1700, 2600, 3600, and 7100 series routers, I believe. Double check on
CCO to make sure.

A 2500 will not work, because it doesn't have the appropriate hardware

Need a little help with a VPN issue. I am running a PIX 515 for VPN and it
is working just fine with cable modems, isdn, dsl etc... Problem I have is
that on the PIX side of the connection, "behind the firewall," I have some
equipment that uses push technology to push images down to
Does it have to be an IP or can it be a DNS name? If a DNS name there's
lots of free IP redirection sites out there like cjb.net, tzo.com, etc.
When they connect the client will update their IP address to their name.
2nd option I can think of is VPN allow them to have an internal static IP
