Hello,
I'll have another try, problem is still not solved...
I am using USB mouses in RC3, that are not automatically recognized
(they were during install) If I mess something in Harddrake /
mouseconfig as a user, unplug and replug mouse, and log out, it suddenly
works during my next session

I have followed cooker since beta3 and I have been badly
surprised by the lack of reliability of the mailing list.
Maybe replace it by a private news

during installation using mandrake 9.0 rc3.
choosing recommended install, sees ntfs partition as ext3.
install will not finish partitioning/fscking disk.
choosing expert install, sees ntfs partition as ntfs.
everything works ok.

I enjoyed the beta process -- it works amazingly well. The first
improvement I can think of is better integration between the bug tracker
and the cooker list. It would be nice if bugzilla reports relevant to
the betas where automatically forwarded to the list or such.

Hi,
How to update Mandrake 9.0 RC2 directly from cooker?
Is there any program that does that?
Mandrake Update doesn't see anything.
Regards,
Michael

urpmi
see 'man urpmi', 'man urpmi.addmedia'
basically you need a cooker mirror somewhere...
then add that mirror as a source with urpmi.addmedia
then update the sources:
'urpmi.update -f',
and then
'urpmi --auto-select'
that's all...
bye,
gabor

urpmi --auto-select
or
rpmdrake (and select "Upgradeable")

Then you don't have a current cooker

Hi,
I was just wondering if MDK 9.0 will be including the printer drivers from
the HP OfficeJet Linux driver project (http://hpoj.sourceforge.net/)? If so,
will HardDrake be able to detect the units for printing and scanning?
Thanks,
Tim

a) RC3 is old news 9.0 is out.
b) gkrellm-plugins is in contrib and contrib isn't on the download CDs.

Mandrake 9.0 already includes the hpoj drivers. I've been using my HP
OfficeJet D135 to print and scan since beta3.

I recall there were some issues with gkrellm-plugins and gnome2. I think
that's why it went into contribs rather than the release.
