Most likely it's some form of analog cross-talk between the DACs and the
speakers. Could be bad cable(s) between DAC and amplifier, improper
shielding or grounding, something within the amplifier, etc. I'd be

Judging from you symptoms, it may be your wireless card in the SB3 has

You could use the Raspberry Pi with the 7inch screen. It's more DIY, but
the JiveLite GUI is nearly identical to the Touch. I run PiCorePlayer

I've never taken one apart, but I know a common failure on SB3 remotes
is the connection to the IR LED. Usually fixable by reflowing the
solder connection. I imagine the SB2 has the same remote.

Actually the Radio alarm has been very reliable for me for a long time

Did you try at least operating it with the card out? I would suggest
doing that before going thru the hassle of getting a replacement. I
understand your setup requires this to be wireless, but you should be
able to verify the SB3 starts up ok without the wifi card.

(remote)? The flashing red light indicates it is in a setup mode, so
it may be waiting for the controller to help configure it. Do you still
