.Just
curious, what brand and model are the ones you are trying? Maybe try a
different brand. Also note that the SVGA USB port does not support hubs.
If you're still having trouble, give me a call at the factory.

Bob,
Correct, the file system running on the USB stack on the SVGA only supports
FAT16 and FAT32 disk formats. Inserting a drive using the NTFS format will
result in the message Error initializing device.

Hi Richard,
For sending CW from the keyboard on the SVGA the only cable that needs to be
connected is the serial cable between the K3 and the P3. How do you have
the transmit mode set up? Does it transmit immediately (vox) or is it CR?

Richard,
Messages stored and recalled are sent automatically, regardless of the type
of mode (i.e. vox, CR or ^T). It might make sense to have the message
respect the sending mode, let me add it to the bug list.

and pileups.
Of course I would suggest picking up an SVGA card

Hi Sam,
This is normal operation. The SVGA display does not implement the waterfall
markers.

The link is to a 1958 Sports Illustrated article, about Ham Radio being a
sport. If you have seen it before, sorry for the bandwidth, but I found it
interesting reading, maybe some others will also...

Phil - I tried your suggestion of using VFO fine tuning and that does seem to
help. I do not see the signal being driven off as I had previously. Will keep
experimenting with. Thanks for the suggestion,

Mike, I have version 4.60
it used to
bring it to the center and zero beat it. I am using filter settings between
200-400. I have THR set at 2. Any ideas on what I can do to correct this?

right, with the waterfall trace trailing from right to left of course and
then within a couple of minutes (guessing at the time) exits off the
screen, not to be seen again. Is this normal, anybody else seeing this??
Noticed it on 17 and 20 meters, have not checked the other bands yet...
