Excellent, that's the problem sorted - I just disabled supermount and
away it went... There *must* be a problem with supermount?!?! Not too

Have given this a shot, but unfortunately it didn't work! For 8.2 I had
to download a patch.pl and run the install script with 'patch noauto' -
unfortunately, this does not work either...

couldn't connect to mysql with a php script. Come to find out, it appears
that PHP hasn't been configured to handle mysql (looking at phpinfo()). Is

I am forced to get a PPPoE connection where I just
moved. The software the ISP (Bell South) uses is NTS Enternet 300 to
authenticate. The web site specifies compatibility with Win 98 NAT

For a while I was able to run programs owned by multiple users on the
same X session. The most prevalent use of this was having root doing
some things and andy the rest.
But for some odd reason I no longer can. I couldn't at first, either.
Now it complains about an invalid MIT-MAGIC-COO
d Gnome (I didn't install
them). And, if possible, I'd like to tweak failsafe a little bit so
that it uses rxvt.
