[Fink-users] Problem Installing teTeX

2002-02-16 Thread segment289
Hi, I'm trying to install teTeX (the bundle) from source (fink install tetex), and everything was going along fine, until I got this, apparently when it came time to install context: Selecting previously deselected package tetex-macosx. (Reading database ... 26683 files and directories currently

[Fink-users] Case Problem with pygtk 0.6.8

2002-02-13 Thread segment289

[Fink-users] Building xfce-3.8.3-1 (the "stable" version)

2002-02-06 Thread segment289
Hi, I was having trouble building xfce-3.8.3-1 (the version currently in "stable"); I kept getting a linker error near the end. Eventually, I tracked it down to the patch that comes with xfce-3.8.10 (in "unstable"), which patches configure to add the "-flat_namespace" flag to the linker step tha

[Fink-users] gnuplot and tetex

2002-02-05 Thread segment289
Hi, Before I complain, thank you all for working on fink and porting packages. My question is this: why does gnuplot depend on tetex? The simple answer, apparently, is "so that fink can build and install the documentation, which comes as LaTeX source." I have a transient (i.e., dialup) 56K co
