Power down to about one watt after rebooting the computer and restarting PSDR.
Power down the radio too. If the problem is reduced or eliminated, you have RF
getting into the computer.

I did this with a Flex-3000 and PTC-IIe some months ago. The signals you
need are on the Flexwire connector. It helps if you start with a cable
from SCS with the DIN connector already attached since these are hard to
solder. I found it quick and easy to do, and it worked exceedingly well.

Gerald,
Is the only advantage of doing this centering the carrier in the panadapter?
Thanks.

many other images.
Happens on other bands too.
These appear to be panadapter images. When clicking on the images, nothing is
there.
I did not see this happening on 1.18.2
Any thoughts?

! Having now looked
into inside of the F5K, it is cleverly designed.should be easy to
maintain in the unlikely event of a problem.

Holy Cow! I expect to put up a 2nd antenna in the near future. That
should give me some real diversity!

adjusting for ALC peaks of less than 0. I use two different amps, an Acom
2000A and a Tokyo High Power HL 1.5KFX. The only thing I adjust now is the
drive level to the amps. Hope this helps.

a computer should be able to load the software and get
his Flex up and running in a few minutes! It is not a requirement to be

I had this exact same problem when in Bequia. I could not get an RF
ground. I would key the rig and the computer would lock up. RF cores
everywhere fixed the problem! If you don't have any RF cores, try
putting a good RF ground to a ground rod to the F3K.

not yet tuned win7 as I am looking for anyone that may have already
performed this work with good success and would have a good procedure to
follow.
Would you advise purchasing a separate fireware card with this particular
motherboard?
Thanks,
