much better after I synched my PC to an NTP time server and
my 5K and all my other gear to GPS time using a cheap Trimble
Thunderbolt.
I may add that Brian Lloyd is a fountainhead of good advice about
digital modes and shares his knowledge freely.

ok, that isnt that tough but tere is no need to "bury" files that are meant
for user acces in hidden folders. one thing some software developers do is
make directories for user files configurable... eventhen te defaults arent
"buried".

open, CPU is roughly the same. Squelching RX increases CPU to 39 -
41%, roughly double. I experimented with "just barely squelched" and
squelch set to max and got the same results.
I will be interested to see how this is eventually resolved.

I agree that it's not a V/U module issue. I did my test on 6 meters and got

When squelch is set to quiet the receiver, CPU usage jumps from around 18%
unsquelched to 85% or so squelched. Similar results observed on 10 and 6
meter FM simplex frequencies.

According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist
l land in the middle of a garden party three blocks down
if the string breaks.
Obviously I'm not really suggesting you do this but it is something to think

Somewhere in the past, I recall hearing of PowerSDR features tailored for
operating 60 meters (i.e. pre-programmed memory channels, TX profiles,
etc.). I've searched the owner's manual and the Knowledge Base. Where did

tune down, the images come closer together and as I tune up they get farther
away. Very bizarre. Changing AGC-T has no effect on images. Same results
