I use a 5 outlet Power Pole RigRunner in the shack. I also use one in my
motorhome for ham gear that I pull in and out for trips. They work very
well.

I plug everything into several ICE Model 475 AC Line Filters and don't have
any problems. They are great filters.

I agree. Of course in this instance MS is the software AND hardware vendor.

r now, I'll use
this old USB mouse until I can figure out the problem. Any other thoughts?
By the way, I'm fairly new to the Flex and PowerSDr and am not familiar with
"HotWheels" aside from the toy cars.

I have not tried to reboot. To coin a phrase, "When all else fails,
reboot!" I should have tried that first. I'll give it a try.
Thanks.

thing I can think is that Windows may have loaded a new mouse driver in the
background (I leave this computer running 24/7) and that could have broken
the connection with the PowerSDR program. Any help would be appreciated.

Could it also be associated with the "Mic Boost" check box being selected?
Quoting Tim Ellison :
Try turning off the Leveler and if you use the EQ, make sure that
there is not too much gain coming out of the EQ audio stage. I use
DX setting of no more than 3.

I'm sure you've checked this, but is it possible you are getting RF
into your audio chain?
Quoting Edwin Marzan :
Greetings All,
No matter how low I set the levels on either of these 2 buttons I
cannot get clear audio. I do notice a huge boost in power output and
audio (which I like
ou mention. I'll have to do some more reading about that issue.
Thanks again for you post.

Why is it everyone is going Win7 x64? I mean, I know the technical reasons
that would drive somone to go to the 64 bit OS but
Anyone here had any luck with any USB to Serial converters that will run
(i.e., have a signed driver) under Win7 64 bit? I would like to connect my
LP-100A through DDUtil, but my only available com port is taken up by my
SteppIR controller.
Thanks

Thanks. This looks like a great device. Unfortunately, it appears that it
is not compatible with a 64 bit Vista or Win7 system as it does not have a
64 bit driver available.

upgrade to a Win7 64 Bit system for use with
Flex-X000 and PowerSDR, I would highly recommend this motherboard/CPU
combination.
