I know I'm wy behind the times but am still happily running the
SDR1K. Well, semi-happily. I've got a peculiar problem with the Delta
44 sound card driver. It works fine at 48k sample rate but not at 96k.
Here's the kicker - if I reinstall the driver (5.10.00.5057v3) it works
fine at
I have setup the Delta 44 OK with Power SDR and my SDR1000, the onboard sound
card is disabled. It works fine with the Flex, but if possible I would like to
use the same mic and speakers on the Delta 44 with Skype (when Power SDR is nor
being used).
I can hear sounds OK through the speakers,
SDR 1000, Power SDR 1.16.1 with Delta 44 and Win XP professional SP3.
The latest and only Delta driver that is specifically recommended for
Win XP SP3 is V32 5.10.00.5069v3. There are some obvious changes
including a new control panel and certainly some functional updates as
well. The Flex
I'm not sure the new driver will work. It hasn't worked for me. The old driver
works just fine and may be your only option.

I used my Heil mic with the Delta 44 today. I am using the version 1.3.5
software. The Heil mic worked fine with 60 db of pre-amplification [transmit
setup screen]; however, the mic needs to be equalized for it to sound good. This
means typically reducing the low end response [below 500 Hz]
