Bill, My Pismo came with 9.0.4. But I use 9.2.3 (the latest update) regularly and it's fine. I don't know if it would boot with anything earlier than 9.0.4. Looking at Apple's tech specs, they say the Original SSW was 9.0 (not just 9). So I suspect it *ought* to boot off any version of 9.

I remember that. Bought my daughter's Lombard when she left the record label. Soon discovered the trackpad was faulty. And damn, they couldn't find the receipt. Typical. Then a friend said I was probably dangling another finger along with my pointer one. Impossible! I nearly clenched my fist.
