Hey, I know there's things you guys may want to discuss but this isn't the place. This is for server owners to be reminded when there's an update coming. 100's of people are getting these emails. If you have a suggestion/proposal for the game, Send it here where they said to send it: http://www

Valve is not interested in this idea. They already deleted the quickplay registration system and every time this is mentioned, people complain the fee would be unfair to small servers. The only viable solution that has been suggested is to have some community contracts. They could make the rewards

I'd personally like to see a set of community server-specific contracts. Specifically, they could issue a bunch of contracts that - when completed on a community's registered servers - unlock some kind of cosmetic and/or abilities that only work on THAT community's servers. In other words, there w

The sad reality is that yes some people will attenmpt to cause problems, hence the idea of the contract, if you make the pool of people to govern smaller, perhaps it will be easier to keep in line. For the sake of squashing drama at least for now, I feel like a discussion with valve needs to inclu

I'm not actually really sure why "easy contract farming" is such a big deal for this community server population issue. I don't do it, but contract farmers (and friendlies) not paying attention to the objective is a major problem on casual servers, as long as they don't have/refuse to go to a soci

I'm sure that if the community server contracts were not affiliated with the official ones (or a subset or normals that don't grant econ items were community-server-compatible) were a thing it would make no big impact to the economy at all. If you're afraid about people maxing out their contrackers

Back to the topic and not the petty drama, I could see Vavle not wanting to do this due to the fact that we all know that some community's will find ways to abuse it to get easy contract points. Maybe having Community Server only contracts will work but even that could be abused. On Nov 9, 2017 3:
