In Index View I have arranged my columns so that it shows Spouse 1, Spouse 2
and I could have Spouse 3 if I had any who married that many times. So I
can see at a glance if I need to create more than one married name AKA.

I like that idea - actually drawing a tree on paper is such a satisfying

I have Legacy 6.0 Deluxe, 6.0.0.179. The drag and drop does not work
for me. It does work to bring in the .pdf as a sound file, as has been
suggested.

There's a few choices there. If you open the Individual screen it
should be obvious. For instance, you might have somebody's death date
as 1919 but you also have them in a 1920 census. Or they died in 1920
and were buried in 1919. That sort of thing.

family file by RINs. In the Name List, clicking the # button should sort
everyone by RINs. Are you saying that this is not happening?

You can't set the short locations to the abbreviations, and then the key
strokes you refer to would bring up the short location identification? Then
in the long location name you could have it spelled out completely, so
there's no confusion of what you meant?
