When I type in some fonts lyx display screen shows different fonts. For
example, the Greek letter "Pi" shows up as Q. Though, the font shows up
correctly when I compile the file.
I would be grateful if you could help me.

fortunately -- it's not terribly noticeable if you aren't working to close
to the screen. But it will be really nice to have the super sharp fonts and

I've tried \normalfont, but it stayed the same. What did help was "
\fancyfoot[C]{\textup{\thepage}}".
I guess polyglossia somehow disables some of the text style commands, or

I've been using LyX on Ubuntu 11.xx for quite a while (I believe that
was version 2.0.2 or 2.0.3) and used to have fonts rendered like this:

Recently I've migrated to Ubuntu 13.04 which has LyX version
uaTeX.
