time for me...I have created a map at one zoom level and when i zoom out, i
have to relabel all the objects. is there a way to set the labels to adjust

I'm looking for a way to select labels in Mapinfo without selectioning them
one at a time. I know the tool labeler could permit this but only by
changing the labels into object-text and I want to keep them as labels.

Stupid question time again!
I have a set of points that i want to label. when i use the autolabel in

I tried what you told me but I have about 700 labels and I want to select
all of them at once so that I can move them so that the arrow will appear.
Now in order for the arrow to appear, I have to move the labels aside
although I don't want to move them one by one.

Its a quick response, not thought through properly but why accept null
dates in your database? Could you allow a "formatable" date like
Microsoft's 1/1/80 to mean "null" . Then update your databases "once and
for all" to these values. Any programs adding data would need to enforce
this rul

a bogus date of "Dec 31,1899", "Jan 1,1900" or "Jan 1,1970", I forget which.
