Hi,
I have used an MZ-R90 and MZ-R50 in the same pocket of the same shorts
on the same exercize machine (Nordic track). The MZ-R50 was in use for
over a year and never once skipped. The MZ-R90 has been in use for the
last month and has skip
decided to push ahead with the hardware.

Does anyone know if Sony make 'gumstick' Lithium Batteries for their
portable recorders, specifically the MZ-R90?
I want one because of the longer life and the nonexistant memory effect, so

Size-wise it is possible to make a Li-ion battery that small, but the
capacity will not necessarily be above the current Ni-MH type.

In case you haven't heard of it, there's an entire Anti-MD website in Japan.
With the way MD is in Japan, it's really compressing the market share of
other formats(cassettes, DAT), and they just don't

should be almost indistinguishable.

(2) also requires a button battery to keep the clock running. Sharp may
assume that most users don't necessarily want clock/alarm on the unit,
especially when it doesn't act as a playback timer.
So it's quite a bit of cost reduction. No hard feelings, ok? :)

Wouldn't you just use any pouch of that kind (choose one that's the size you

The S321 is about 1.8cm tall, and about the same width/depth as other Sharp

I don't know if it's available in the UK, but I can recommend the Sharp
MD-S321. It has the slot
in your pocket. For example, attaching the
battery case. Do everything you can so it absolutely stuffs the pocket.
Shirt pockets are also great, but since on the PX5 unit | and | buttons
