Through a convoluted combination of diff swap and home renovation, keys went missing with the spare set locked inside the car. Now it needs to move out of the garage for the drywall guys. Which is the preferred window to break? Other ideas? Could tow it out and hope to find keys I suppose.

The transplanted 606 keeps draining its battery when parked. Slowly, but still fast enough to drain it in a week or two. Is there a logical way to track where the current is going, analogous to troubleshooting vacuum leaks? Otherwise I am just going to buy a disconnect for it.

I read a good idea somewhere recently about jamming a short section of radiator hose between the valve cover and the air cleaner to save the mounts. It also makes the noise when I go around corners, like the entire transmission is sliding a bit and then hitting something. Or when slowing down

It is kind of like sun valley transmissions. If you are going to pay for a rebuild, go to the place that has been doing it the longest. It is the same money. Nobody has heads for wagons anyway, no matter what they say; you have to find a core that is rebuildable and send it to them.
