so its easier to squirt into the lock.
A couple years ago the locks in my 240D got sticky as it got cold out. I

get it open by selecting the tail light that is in the worse shape,
busting it out completely then reaching in thru the opening to gain
access to the panel that covers the locking mechanism and unlock it from

problem that you can't get the vacuum pod to engage the lock, and the
lock won't turn to use the key method?
The previous owner of my car had a vacuum failure, and he had only a
valet key. He got the trunk open by cutting
Shame it isn't a 240D. You just remove the first aid kit, stick your arm
inside, pull off a cover plate, and open the trunk. (Helps if you have
really long arms.)

I've gotten the same recomendation from more than one locksmith. Note that
this was ONLY for trying to get a seized lock unstock. The tip was to
saturate the lock, try to get it to move and repeat.
I imagine it's not the recommended item for actual lubrication of the
lock...
