I have some OLD programs I don't have the source for that were built with
the MySQL 3.23.55 client libraries. They still work great, even when using
those libraries to connect to 4.1.18 Mysql (I have a copy of the old lib in
the new lib dir)
However, is there some way I can build a 3.
I just upgraded from 3.23 to 5.0. There server seems to be working just
fine with all of my PHP and perl scripts. However, the mysql client is
giving me problems. It starts up okay and I can do everything, but when
I do an up arrow on the keyboard to get previous commands the second up

morning. These are "reset master" commands we issue from cron to clean up
the transaction logs.
