1. Setting up Kppp - I've followed the instructions carefully but each

I would recommend that you first create the linux native and swap partitions
using fdisk or Partition magic. Partition magic is very easy to use, I do!
Then reboot from CD-ROM (if your bios supports that). Else run the cd-rom
from dos, else use linux floppy disk for installation.

Mandrake 6.1 has a bug, you cannot, no matter what you do,
no matter how hard you try, there is NO make menuconfig in
Mandrake 6.1, they screwed up, you install the kernel headers

OK, i had MDK 6.1 on my syatem a week ago, and in my lilo.conf file i added
append="mem=128M"
to get all my 128M of RAM supported. But now with MDK 7, this does crap, and I
still get 64Ms at boot. Running Netscape and other things all at once *deserve*
all my RAM, but i just cant get it
The problem is linux does not yet support Ultra66 - at least not from the
install CD. I had the same problem and will probably buy a cheap non-Ultra66
HD for Linux.
