Thanks to everyone who responded to my dilema of trying to get the
NVIDIA_kernel RPM for my LM 8.1 system. I did as everyone suggested and
downloaded, rebuilt, and instlled the source RPM. Things seemed to go well
as the packages installed, with only the customary warnings that NVIDIA

See how many errors are found on the w3c validator on a page created
with Frontpage. Frontpage makes sure it works on IE but they don't
really care how it looks on any other browser Frontpage is
basically for IMHO people who don't know how to code by hand.

and when you finish, write the HTML yourself, and each line you do you

I've got a problem with transferring large files from a windows machine to
the Linux server using a network connection through Samba or FTP.
The Linux machine try's to access the /dev/hda1 partition but it returns
busy. Linux then resets the IDE controller?? It does this several times
before
I Know ncftpd allows for vitual users using the ncftpd_passwd command but
i'm not sure if proftp allows this as well.
