Here are the steps that were taken for this
An easier way is to just make a boot disk (you can use the dd command or the
Mandrake Control Center). After installing Windows, boot into GNU/Linux
using your boot disk. After you log in, become root and type:
/sbin/lilo -v
That will reinstall lilo.

to read the CDRW media that I had used DirectCD to write on it. If it has
been written by DirectCD then you will have to go back to windows directCD
and convert it to a regular CDRW disc format. Linux cannot read

* The CPU meter hits the roof. It maintains 99% usage the entire
time. Under 8.2 burning duties never exceeded 1.5%.
* A 16MB fifo buffer while burning a 600MB CD, stuggles to keep
full, rarely maintaining 25% content.
Did anyone see my message about ftp or http install from a floppy? I haven't
seen any replies, maybe I should repost eh?
